One of the best teachers I've ever met: unhurried, structured, consistent and clear! Thank you! And how do I get to the next lessons? After the 10th one?
Good explanation, thank you. However, I have a question: How can I display the menu links in the mobile view when the user clicks on the menu icon? Thanks in advance.
Good course and nicely explained. But... I created the page and everything went smoothly until the end. In the end, when I needed to separate the Menu icon, it didn't want to go all the way to the right like you did, but it only went to the border of the first segment, to the brand group. I made a mistake somewhere. I can't find the mistake today.
If I understand correctly, we created a hamburger menu here, but it is not toggled yet and we'll settle the toggle option later on? Is that so? I haven't watched the rest of the course yet, cause i'm building my app little by little thanks to those courses (it's so long though ^^"). Thanks for this content :D
Gregory - I'm wondering if you might reference where you "hook-up" this menu icon you've created here? _ I know it's naughty to jump ahead, but a lot of the next content isn't relevant to my personal project and I'd like to clear this functionality without trawling all the videos. Is there a list of what happens where someplace I've missed? (Oh, love these explanations / pace etc - well done and thank you) - where do I send my entire wish list ;)
I'm not getting the groups inside the parent group (group container) evenly distributed - the Group brand is wider then the Group Links and Group Buttons, any idea on how I fix this? Thank you!
You should be able to get to this option from either right clicking an element, or highlighting an element and using the 'Edit' dropdown from the top bar. Don't those options work for you? Are they greyed out or not there at all? If they are greyed out, it means an element is not selected or may already be a reusable element.
@@gregory-john Yes, they are greyed out. I think it might be that it is already a reusable element. I will just see if I get a problem later on. Thank you Gregory.
There is no issue in editor window but during preview its showing " This is a circular Reusable Element... Reusable Elements cannot contain themselves (or other Reusable Elements that contain them). " for workplace or menu. Please help to resolve this issue.
Sounds like you may have added the reusable element to itself. Check the elements tree to make sure you only have 1 reusable element. You might have 2.
Coming back because I figured this out. I had a condition added to the brand reusable element to centre the container layout below a 576px page width. I think I added this when we were doing the footer as a bit of extra work to make the mobile page nicer. Hopefully this helps anyone with the same issue.
I am impatiently waiting for the rest of this course. Thanks Bubble, Thanks Gregory.
The next section is coming on Monday! 😀
Terrific course! Excellent teacher! Thanks!!
Thank you

Excellent course, I'm following along here from Brazil.

when previewing in the "index", the nav bar menu icon doesn't display, even though it's displayed in the navbar preview

Thanks for the course. How do we get the nav to be visible when clicking the menu icon?
We build a popup later on in the course for this purpose.
My navbar shows no elements when I put it on the main page. What could be the issue.? Thanks !!!
this is great tutorial!
at 19:56 when changing the group brand alignment to space between, the group brand alignment changes to the right of the group brand container at 992

For each group, make sure there is no fixed, min or max widths on the layout tab.
Hi Gregory, the 'Convert to a reusable element' is not a selectable option for me?

Group Brand and Group Menu stack on top of each other when Page Width < 575 px. Testing index page on Chrome. Anyone else have this issue?
17:44 woah woah woah whats wrong with the big old smiley face
Group Brand and Group Menu stack on top of each other when Page Width < 576 px. Testing index page on Chrome. Anyone else face this issue?
Make sure that Group brand is set to container alignment 'Space between' to push the elements apart.
@@gregory-john I'm getting this issue also, it works perfectly in bubble's responsive page but the group brand spans across the page below about 600px
