I cooked your recipe for turkey breast in slow cooker and it was amazing. The meat was tender and juicy and so easy to pull the meat right off the bone. This is DEFINITELY a keeper.
Love this! I don’t like fussing with traditional methods of cooking a turkey. My method is similar yours EXCEPT I soften the butter, mix in my seasonings, and then massage the butter mixture all over the turkey breast. It’s fail-proof!
I like to cook a large turkey breast, and wnded up ordering a 10 qt crockpot to be sure the large ones fit,l love having leftovers ,l love turkey sandwiches, and like lots of broth for gravy, dressing etc.
@@lindacurlee1763 if it’s fully cooked, basically you are just heating it up. I would definitely put it on low and if you add any liquid at all, I would make it minimal. Usually, if you purchase a fully cooked turkey, it comes with instructions on how to reheat. You might have better luck referring to that.
Go to make turkey in crockpot again. Forget which RUclips video I used for inspiration. Load up a bunch of tabs. Watch this one first. Close all the other tabs. Thank you!
There’s plenty of drippings in the crockpot that can be used to make gravy. I’d probably go with a little cornstarch and broth-whisk together and cook until it starts to bubble a little.
I don't use onion or garlic powder but that doesn't mean you can't. Any spices you enjoy are fine! I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with a pressure cooker/crock pot. If you mean an InstaPot, I'm sure you could do it if you could get the meat to fit, but I don't have a recipe with cooking times/temperature, etc.
LOOKED GOOD!!!!! I'M ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR A CROCKPOT VERSION THAT THE TURKEY DOES'NT FALL APART!!!! MY WIFE IS HELL BENT ON COOKING THE TURKEY IN A CROCKPOT!!!!! I HAVE SEVERAL OTHER WAYS TO COOK A TURKEY AND NOT USEING HER STOVE ONLY THE BUFFET IN HER KITCHEN!!!!! I DON'T WANT A FALL APART TURKEY!!!! I WANT TO CUT SLICES!!!!!!
In my experience, it is very hard to cook any meat in the crockpot that doesn’t fall apart. I wish I could help but I don’t know that it’s possible in the crockpot. Cooks too low and slow.
I just made this today for Thanksgiving. It was PERFECTION!!! Thank you so much!
You’ve made my whole week!! Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for posting! I make this year round, it's so good and so easy!

A 10 qt crockpot is something I need to look into!!!
Know that definitely going try it because it’s small and I’m by myself this year
Just because it's a party of one, doesn't mean you can't have a delicious meal! I cook for one all the time. Happy Thanksgiving to you!!
Looks great!
@@blazee3895 thanks! My family has been enjoying it this way for many years.
Gotta try!!
I’ve been making this for years! It’s good! Spice it up if you like more flavor, but this is how we like it.
You always give directions that I can follow thank you so much ❤hello from Kentucky 😊
Hi Neighbor! Thank you so much for commenting. You made my evening.
Can you put a frozen turkey in the crockpot? How long would it take? Mines 3lbs
NO! Crockpot cooks at a very low temperature. Not enough to kill bacteria. Turkey should be fully thawed.
Hi just wondering if you can do this with a fully cooked smoke turkey set the time a little less?

How long does a 7 lb. defrosted turkey have to cook?
I do 6-8 hours on High or 8-10 hours on Low. Talking about a crockpot, of course.
Gravy?

Looks good! You don't sprinkle with onion or garlic powder?? Does a pressure cooker/crock pot work as well???
