  • 1 6 LB. Turkey breast with bone.
    1 stick of softened butter
    1 tsp Fresh Thyme
    1 tsp Fresh Rosemary
    3 tsp salt
    2 tsp paprika
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp onion powder
    vegetables:
    3 large carrots
1 large onion cut in half.
    3 celery stalks
    Gravy:
3 tbsp melted butter (in the video I used 2 tbsp, but later wanted my gravy thicker.
3 tbsps. all-purpose flour mixed into the melted butter.
add 1 1/2 to 2 cups of drippings.
Taste the gravy and season if needed.
Garnish with fresh parsley and pomegranate seeds
Cook the 6 lbs. turkey breast in a 10-quart crockpot on high 4 to 5 hours. Until the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
Place cooked turkey under the broiler 3 to 5 minutes to brown. (don't walk away!)
    I used a 7-quart crockpot.

Turkey looks great but what I really like is the garnish, the parsley and pomegranate really looks nice around the turkey.

Hi AMV, I used cherry tomatoes in the 3 lb. turkey breast video. I have also seen red grapes used as a garnish. I saw the pomegranate seeds and thought humm, my son loves pomegranate seeds. He can finish them off after the video. lol And he did. I hope that you are having a great day!

I made this turkey yesterday. Some people make Christmas turkey dinner, or there is always next thanksgiving. I also have stuffing and sweet potato casserole video to put out soon. When ya gotta, ya gotta.

Rosie, your turkey is just absolutely gorgeous, my friend. I've been using General Tso's sauce for turkey leftovers, along with some rice and boiled carrots & broccoli, it's really good. I'm looking forward to your Christmas treats, cutie.

Hi Byron, I made this turkey yesterday. I figured that I should get it out ASAP. Maybe somebody can use it for Christmas. The sauce on your turkey leftovers with veggies, sounds great. Take care sweetie.
