But no, I'm aware of the light novels and I know some of the plot points that happen in it, but please don't defend the plot of bleach. It was fine up until soul society but then the straight up bullshit that goes on nonstop back to back after that was nonsense. Theres just...too much wrong with the plot of bleach to physically fit into a youtube comment and I'm not about to write an essay on it.
Max Johnson Ichigos used quincy abilities in the Ss and it was pretty clear he wad different from normal shinigami his development alone was amazing. the goal of the quincy was to be in hiding. What kubo was going for was that since soul society was such a success with its plot structure then repeating the same thing wouldn’t be bad but The problem was the arc’s pacing was dragged out much longer than intended by shonen Jump because the espada were"fan favourites". Each side and main character had their chance to shine and gain development in battles not just the main character like how the sides are forgotten in many shonen Aizen wouldn’t have been built to be seemed as the final villain or climax to the plot if it was how Kubo intended. Tybw was a really cool arc and idea but unfortunately it ended up getting rushed when Kubo said he had 10 years more of material to cover. You’re entitled to your own opinion Im just expressing why I think it was good
@@rapidgaming4703 Of course, everyones entitled to have their own opinions. And I myself am a Bleach fan. And to put it simply, its not the worst thing to ever exist. I've been seeing this Black Clover thing becoming popular recently for instance. Oh boy now that whole thing from start to present seems so rushed and frankly just silly at some points. The power scaling on the main char, main female lead and MC's best friend/rival started becoming so messed up...not to mention the villains good god theres supposed to now be like 30 villains at, above, or FAR above the level of what Black Clover's equivalent of Bleach's Captains are. Each. Its like if bleach had 30 espadas instead of 10 and every fight was either an uphill team fight for the good guys, or some good guy just gets an unreasonably massive powerup that they don't deserve since they've suddenly shot up like 2/3 tiers on the power scale "because i feel like i can do this".
Yea, I think I'd put Bleach above that, although Black Clovers got its own interesting aspects too. I can see why its popular and I'll continue to follow it tbh. But about Bleach...lets be real. From an objective perspective, its good. But when you compare it to its competing peers like Naruto and One Piece, several factors like plot development and character development just fall flat. One of the most interesting characters, especially in terms of character development, in Bleach was a bad guy who got a pretty last minute redemption "which was his real intention all along", yet ultimately failed to do anything of particular value or significance in the grand scheme of things since all he manages to end up doing is making Aizen even stronger. Which also ended up being pointless for Aizen within like...1 chapter.
Then theres other issues like...oh, lets just stick to the Ichigo issues. The quincy thing in SS. Retrospectively, with hindsight, yes, people start pointing out quincy connections and whatnot. Well, no. First of all, Uryu's entire "last quincy" thing got debunked hard by his own father, Ryuken, and as if that wasn't bad enough, theres a whole army of them alive and well, not to mention even Ichigo is part quincy now. Wonderful. And about his powers against Kenpachi, as far as anyone watching/reading it could tell, it was Zangetsu giving him more power. Now, it'd be amazing foreshadowing if someone called that into question. Even a "...Isn't that....no. It can't be..." from a character like Yoruichi for instance, and then some follow up allusion to it while hes recovering, like "Btw, do you know how you healed yourself?" "Hm...alright nvm don't worry about it for now." would have worked wonders. That kind of detail shows that the author isn't last minute shoving something in later or changing something from before to fit the current narrative. It shows planning and foresight. Which Bleach didn't. And we just get a ton of quincy things shoehorned into the last saga like "oh that moment was quincy powers btw". Even if its planned that way, there needs to be some indication to the reader about it beforehand, otherwise it just comes across as a cheap attempt to imitate the kind of foreshadowing One Piece gives readers. Things just planned out years, even a decade or 2 in advance. And for that matter, keep in mind, that whole quincy lineage and abilities thing ended up becoming a complete dead end after the reveal. He barely uses any quincy powers after he figures out what it is. He incorporates it against Yhwach and thats it. Fat load of good that did him, he was toyed with and trashed like a pleb mook. Not to mention that Ichigo was useless in the final arc for almost the entire thing anyway. For real. Got to SS, lost to Yhwach easily. "Hey, you made Yhwach leave, thats a great thing Ichigo"...Yhwach wasn't even interested in going after anyone else after beating Yama, and he was going to leave on his own anyway. Not because of Ichigo btw. Because of Aizen fking with his sense of time. Later, after training and whatnot, he saves kenpachi and spars briefly against a few sterns to showcase the new swords, then just goes chasing after Uryu. Saving kenpachi is...w/e. Considering that Kenpachi was only really useful for showing Mayuri what pernida's ability is like, and was not only useless in the Gerard fight, but instead actually made things much harder for everyone. So apart from saving a char that wasnt really any use after that, all ichigo really manages to do is kill the soul king (great fkin job ichigo), get trashed by Askin before being told to gtfo, get trashed by yhwach, get sword repaired again by a last minute Ginjo and Tsukishima cameo, and finally get one good slash in only because of Ryuken's arrow. ONLY BECAUSE OF RYUKEN'S ARROW. WHICH WAS ALSO NOT FORESHADOWED AT ALL. Dont even have to show that years in advance. Show that scene of baby uryu seeing ryuken operate right at the start of the saga, and thats still perfectly fine as far as foreshadowing goes. But no...In any case, it could have been fking renji cutting yhwach and saving the day. It could have been anyone. That arrow and Ryuken were the MVP. Ichigo just happened to be there and just happened to be the one doing the cutting is all. Because hes the MC and all, you know?
And thats JUST why ichigo was poor in the very last arc. If I talked about everything wrong with every other part of the last saga, and then god forbid I stretch out into everything wrong in the arrancar saga and fullbring saga...it'd literally be a 10 page essay ngl. Theres so much else wrong, like how the entire vizard group was made useless. Renji did better than 2 vizard captains did against 1 enemy ffs...when he could barely do anything to Szayel, when he had help...Just...no. I can't. Bleach is fine overall as a whole but when you dig deep theres so many problems. At least Naruto only started having major problems on this level after Naruto vs Pain...and that was already well into the series.

Now i really want to hear her cover Shoujo S. Cause let me tell you, it would be perfect for her voice!

This is definitely a Nostalgia trip. An anime named as a joke for the main character's hair, with one of the most legendary fights of all time. I also love quincy AmaLee, the character designs for her get better and better. She's gonna need a manga one day.

@@themetalsail1097 I'm agreed with you, the ending feel rushed and ruined that everything that bleach stands for, that and ichigo and orihime got married is really feel force, now I don't hate orihime don't get me wrong, she's a good character since in the espada arc but I think ichigo should've been married to rukia, the two of them has chemistry between them ever since series started, is better than ichihime in my opinion. I think orihime should've end up with either uryu or maybe ulquiorra(if only tite kubo just bring him back to life and somehow survived, then I'm gotta choice ulquihime, but NO instead it's a middle finger to all the fans).

Chad ended up as a boxer, despite his promise to his grandfather being integral to his character.
Uryu becomes a doctor isolated from the rest of the characters, despite his hatred for doctors. Not to mention part of his character development was how he wasn't so closed off anymore.
Ichigo has absolutely no indication of him continuing Shinigami work post-timeskip (unless you count the cover), and he basically acts like a couch potato. Apparently he forgot his hero complex and desire to protect a mountain of people.
Orihime had all these dreams and ambitions of what she was going to do with her life, and she ends up as a stereotypical housewife.
Rukia as a captain is probably the best outcome out of the main cast. Even then, I don't see how a relationship came about between her and Renji; I always got a sibling vibe from them considering they grew up together. I don't necessarily hate it, but it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
Ichigo and Orihime *can* work, but if that was the intended end-pair then Kubo did a terrible job of building chemistry for the two throughout the series, beyond anything superficial that is. Personally I think Uryu and Orihime worked off of each other better.
Beyond the main cast, there's a *ton* of story problems and unwrapped plotlines I can get into. But this comment is long enough, so I won't get into more issues unless someone actually wants to debate this topic.

Dang~ I miss the days when the Bleach anime was airing. It was super exciting waiting for the week after when the next episode. It's too bad the Bleach anime won't do the final arc from the manga.
I miss the days where Toonami would air the good anime, Inuyasha, Bleach, Soul Eater, Blue Exorcist, Akame Ga Kill, and Kill La Kill. Gave me something to look forward to but now there is nothing but shit on Toonami. Nothing even worth watching....

@@CH-fz6qf Kubo was in bad health leaving the series on the back burner essentially. Add in Shonen Jump pressuring him to end the series because they don't care how popular it is deadlines are deadlines. Gintama won't be ending in Jump for this very reason (absolutely amazing series btw). Was the Fullbringer Arc actually a better way to leave off the anime..?
Last I heard they're just waiting on the okay now or something. There are plans to bring it back,hopefully Kubo can take over and really close things out properly. Just have to wait and see what happens
@@Blue-qi4tl I know it wasn't Kubo's fault, the slave driver that is shonen jump nearly killed him. The ending was bad, but I respect Kubo for finishing it at all

Also great timing! I've just recently started getting back into Bleach a little bit. If anything else, there were some really cool ideas and designs and story elements and characters in Bleach. Tite Kubo also has a really amazing art style asjakfl.
