McDavid barely skated backwards in the obstacle course. Not only did he help design the competition he cheated a couple of the challenges. That doesn't earn respect amongst his fellow players.

You know the carnival game where someone sit above a tank and you have to throw a ball at a target to make the person fall in? They should shoot a puck at a target and if it hits Gary Bettman falls in. That would honestly be awesome.

I was at this game. It was decent. The atmosphere during the game outside could have been improved. However the skills competition were somewhat entertaining. Some of the players did not take it THAT seriously. As you can see Connor Mcdavid is a genius hockey player and he did take it super seriously and won. It was like night and day difference. Only few others trailed behind in certain events. .... (by little ) but he is the complete player. Skills wise anyways.

Only thing why can't ALL the 12 players be in ALL the events? So if you are the slowest skater so be it. If you have the softest shot so be it. But the players get to pick and choose the Events they want to be in. The idea is to find the best ALL-Around player, and that would mean competing in all the events. However hopefully that could still be accomplished in about 3 hours? And make all the events the same amount of points. Or cut the players down to 6 at some point, but make them compete in ALL events. For the Hardest Shot only 5 players competed. Just curious how some of the players would have fared in all the events. For Kucherov, IDK, probably an off night eh? The other 11 did compete though. Also, perhaps make it down to 2 Players in the end? so kind of a Final, and make the 2 Finalists do All the events. How's that for pressure, but at least it's a Final of some sort? Also, perhaps make it also 12 Players from 12 Different Teams. Maybe won't be the best 12 but at least the league would be better represented? And the Final 2 players would be from 2 different teams. IDK, hockey fans, just thinking?

I'm a Senators fan it would have been awesome to see our player Mathieu Joseph in the fastest skater contest he would have killed it. Our team relies on him for his speed especially on the PK when he pokechecks pucks away at the blue line then he's off to the races lol. Also was Kucherov drunk? He was awful in passing & stick handling challenges how he is ranked best player in the NHL for points this season actually embarassing on his part

  • @Highlander055

im confused in stick handling, you were supposed to skate backward like the defenseman did. Then people like McDavid skated backwards for only half of it before turning around
