This song and video always brings me to tears.. Always, no matter how many times I have heard it. We need to take care of our Vets!!! BOTTON LINE!! How can we not?? Thank you so much for reacting to this video!!
Poor men fighting rich men’s wars while they get richer and we bury our sons and daughters and brothers and sisters! I have a cousin that suffered from PTSD who received no help and died at 31. His own dad, my uncle, ended up having to shoot him due to his PTSD. He was a Ranger from Fort Bragg 82nd Airborne. RIP Chris
🎸"Masters of War" 🎸released in 1963 by Bob Dylan was my 1st taste of how music could be used to express ones defiance to🪖 "The system"🪖. Sam Cooke 🎶"A Change is Gonna Come" 🎶also 1963 another anthem but things only getting worse. I am 72 years old, back then I had hope we as a people could create Utopia now I fear we got Hell on Earth. God help us!.🙏
Being an old divorced fourth generation vet with TBI and PTSD, was homeless and now exist under a VA program for homeless vets. Spending most of me time alone fighting the battle within. Yeah this song always hits about as close to home as it can. Wisdom has taught me that you can get so wrapped up fighting the silent battle within, you can loose everything outside of it. Salute to my brother and sister veterans!
I had heard the name of the band somewhere before. And when I recently ordered a CD - Kamelot "The Awakening" - I looked to see which one had good reviews in the heavy category and was low-priced because my budget is very limited; to order a second one. The album was F8 (Fate) by FFDP (4.8 out of 5 stars with over 6600 ratings!). I heard this album first and holy crap did this record blow me away. The intro followed by the song "Inside Out" is perhaps the best opener I've ever heard on an album. I listened to it twice on the first day and at least once a day for the next 4 or 5 days and various songs even more often. That hasn't been the case for me for a long time.
Greetins fom Ukraine! I heard about veterans question(not a problem, or trouble) in USA. Your contry have powerfull goverment tools of reabilitation, but must be a huge social support! We have same question too
Great reaction brother. We don’t blame others for not understanding, but we should at least be spared a protest at a fallen brothers funeral. Why have we veterans not attacked such rabble? They don’t see that either. It’s about honor that they don’t have. We do! Good bless the American Patriot like you sir.
Unfortunately, my country 🇺🇦 is likely to face the same fate because our government is not very interested in helping all those who have experienced war. But in my country, there will be twice as many veterans, around 2-3 million. It's complete crap...
Yeah, that got you in the same place it always gets me, where the police guy shows some compassion for a fellow brother. The fact is the only understanding we get is from those who've yomped a mile in our boots.

you have to react to "Gone Away" by Five Finger Death Punch

Fortunately, people here help veterans. I think everything will be fine. Politicians engage in populism, but society values its heroes.
its sad but the war has to be finished first before more can be done
