Mr geetar man can u make vid explaining the difference of the difference options for lile 44kz and the others or whatever obviously ik nothing abt it but like u could make a short or something that would be helpful I'd like it please I wanna sound like the djent daddies
The amount of tools and knowledge that are available for free/affordable price righ now, is pretty unreal. And you are sharing both. Thank you for that!
I basically stopped playing around 2008 and just started playing again seriously, I have relied on your videos to learn about IRs and plugins and how to use them that didn't exist back in the day. Appreciate all your work mate
I've just downloaded it and tried my 7 string Schecter on it. I can't recall if the lows have ever sounded so tight on a software amp SIM and I've been home recording for well over 20 years. Thank you very much, you've earned my subscription.
I'm pretty sure your pickups, amp, pedals and other variables make up for more than 2% of your tone, but I agree that the cab can make or break a good signal chain.
I just downloaded it and your IR. I turned the output up from 12 to 1 o'clock and hot damn. I named the custom preset "my boi Keyan" in honor of you haha. Thank you so much for this mate.
Took the advice and got this amp sim awhile back. Also picked up the Dr drive/horizon pedal sim. Both were great advice and sound amazing. I bump your e.p. all the time in the car, and ended up with a bit of influence in my playing. Thanks man, keep killing it!
i used one of your old videos to setup my tone and then recently got a new computer and lost all the old vsts and forgot how to set them up. this video is so perfect thank you
I downloaded this after your review and couldn't believe how much it sounds like my real jcm2000 with 4x12 cab with a gate and tube screamer in front. Amazing company can't believe it was free. Sounds great with Valhalla space modulator which is free doubler/ flanger
@@lbmusic444 Hey there! Out of all the stuff he plays in the video, the only tracks I recognise are Marigold by Periphery, The Devil in I by Slipknot and Take This Life by In Flames. I'm unfortunately not really sure if the other stuff he plays comes from songs I'm unfamiliar with or if he was just improvising, I hope this helps at least a little though haha
I have been playing with neural dsp gojira for 1 year and I have never found the perfect sound for my 7 string ibanez and with this software it is just perfect
There are many IR products on the market, but I think DYNAX IR has the best sound. As stated in their product description, DYNAX IR is really fast. When using IRs, the pick attack is sometimes delayed, and it is difficult to add picking nuances, but their IR prevents all of that. It's revolutionary!
Just downloaded. This tone is absolutely beautiful! Pity about my computer being so old and latency being an issue, however there is a new one on the way. Can't wait to tear this amp apart!
Muchas Gracias por tu aporte ya tenia el amped de hace unos dias pero estaba tratando de ecualizar tal cual, descargue el impulso y ya lo instale toca probarlo Gracias
Can’t wait to check this out! I have been trying out the Bogren Digital free IR pack and they are excellent. Of course the GGD cabs are usually my go to.
Thank you so much bro this is exactly what I was looking for ! I just got the nerual dsp Paturci and was having hell getting the tones this one came with . There IRS are amazing 👏 finally the tones I been looking for ! And free shhhhht thanks again bro !
This is important information. You literally only need a guitar interface and a computer. (well a guitar too). And you can have some amazing tones to play with. The el34 evh roots sim is just as good or better than any of the paid plugins. And as you pointed out, there is some free Irs that you can play with too. A great time to be a bedroom guitarist. And a reminder you don't need to buy 2000$ amps and cabs. (You can, but don't need too).
Thank you for this great recommendation, with some tweaking (different pickups, etc.) I managed to get very close to this super good tone you got here. I'm using another ML IR though, but quite similar to this one. And honestly, I compared it to the Gojira and Fortin NTS plugins by Neural DSP, and although those are really good, I can't justify the cost when compared with the free version of Amped Roots, which sounds at least as good in my experience. Especially useful was the idea to turn down the 'master volume' on the amp - for good chugs it's better without the muddying low mids of the MV. I find that this way I get so much more clarity that I can even lower the gain to 11 oclock (with EMG 85s) and still get plenty of clear, powerful chugging - actually just like on a real EVH 5150iii, where I would never go past 12 oclock on the gain dial...
I have to try this IR. I can't seem to get any good tones out of the stock IR's but this demo does sound pretty good. I'm struggling with lead tones (just overall crap) and chuggy low end at F#/ Drop E gets kinda mushy.
IT’S MY FAVOURITE TIME OF YEAR

what gauge do you use on your 7 strings?

😮
The cab is 98% of your tone. ML soundlab is consistently the best. I use GGD for my IR but I will try this out
Let me know what you think!
I'm pretty sure your pickups, amp, pedals and other variables make up for more than 2% of your tone, but I agree that the cab can make or break a good signal chain.
@@IKilledTheDodo yeah 98% is a bit daft.
That ir completely changed my tone in archetype nolly and I like it more, really glad I came across this vid

Loving the humour dude, your channel keeps getting better and better! Sexy tones too, as usual
Came for the free tone, stayed for the riffs
Hey, do you know what riff he’s playing around 4:07? Love that progression and would love to hear the full mix. Thanks
SMASHED the goddamn subscribe button twice.
(twice bc i was already subbed ofc lmao)
