I'm 70 years old and have watched movies about WW2 most of my life. YOUR movies are the first ones where I have felt fear and a sense of "you are there" realism. Sorry about that John Wayne.
Какой реализм ? Отсутствие в лесу на идеально чистой форме и сапогах какой то грязи при передвижении по русскому лесу? Или что в полный рост русские стоят и ждут гранату ? Только атмосфера съемки. Не впечатлило и нет тут ни какой реальности.
Или что пять немцев в полный рост с оружием от бедра наступают на троих русских в овраге? Вас действительно это пугает ? Вы точно все это время смотрели хоть один нормальный фильм о войне ? Ни у одного даже дыхание не ускорилось и нет трясутся руки? Русский в конце которого откатывается чуть не с улыбкой. Это все по-моему не более чем пропаганда нацизма.

Fantastic short film! May I kindly pass on some advice that I learned from many German veterans that I used to interview in the 90's and early 2000's? One of their pet peeves about films or re enactors portraying them is that the equipment makes far to much noise. Having been a WK 2 German re enactor myself since 1989 I can attest to the noise. There are ways to ensure your kit does not make too much noise by repositioning and tightening straps. They told me that they would use leaves and straw to dampen noise. I hope this information helps you and it is not intended as a critique of your awesome films. 😎
That's a really cool historical tidbit. On the flip side, all the noises are kind of cool.

@@blueshirtman8875 First off it wasn't a complaint it was a piece of advice from real German veterans that bothered them. It insulted them and made them look inept on the battlefield. Secondly, I prefer historical accuracy, plus it does the veterans a dis-service. Respect the veterans. Have a wonderful day.

@@darylgrimes2601 Unfortunately, in Germany there are more and more short amateur films in which the authors show Wehrmacht soldiers as "simple brave guys who just honestly do their combat work." Honor, bravery, skill. In all these videos, Germans are fighting against Soviet soldiers (skillful killings of Americans or British would cause the Western public to feel rejection, and killing a Russian is not such a sin).
Apparently, the Germans have not learned the cruel lessons of WWII ...
Such creations are enthusiastically received in Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Poland - due to strong anti-Russian sentiments in these countries. But what about the USA, the UK?
And no such director will show you the bombing of Kiev on the morning of June 22, 1941, burning alive of the population of entire villages locked in barns, hanging of girls suspected of sabotage by the German army... And how many rapes were there? No, the Wehrmacht were simple honest guys who need to be understood. And justified.

Howdy, from Texas! Just wanna say ya'lls production and overall quality has DRAMATICALLY improved here. The gunshots finally have that bass and amplified effect that make them feel heavier and more fatal. It brings the viewer more immersion. The uniforms on the Germans look flawless, the actors even get a 10/10 on their performance. The desperation in their commands when yelling is chilling. I hope to be part of one of these short films someday, I have some an authentic handed down Waffen SS reversible oak/autumn smock with the reversible helmet cover. I even have my grandpas uncles original M35 Stahlhelm that I've kept in great condition mainly bc my uncle who wore it in combat usually kept the camouflage cover on it so the helmet looks solid just like when it was made.
For anyone wondering, my Great grandpas uncle and the uncles brothers were all in one of the 39 divisions of the Schutzstaffel but the gear that was proudly handed down the generations that I now call my own comes from the uncle who I know most about. He was in the 38th SS-Grenadier-Division "Nibelungen" formed in 1945 so towards the end of the war.
I would love to show off some of the memorabilia he passed down to our family to use in these shorts :)

Ich kann jetzt nicht für das Team von Paralightworx sprechen aber wahrscheinlich mit einer Mischung von Adobe After Effects und Blender, man nimmt kurzgesagt ein Bild von einem vergleichbaren Mündungsfeuer und legt das über die Frames wo "geschossen" wird. Da das Mündungsfeuer nur für wenige frames zu sehen ist fällt sowas garnicht auf.Lg Archy

only complaint that I personally have is that there is no MG in either the german or soviet squads but thats just me nit picking. It was very well done, proper formations, weapons and equipment faithful to the russian campaign in 1941, very astonishing scene itself with the filming location and the mood. 9/10 in my opinion, Paralight Worx only keeps getting better and better, I applaud you!
The uniform of Soviet soldiers is not depicted exactly for the period of the beginning of the war. Soviet soldiers did not have shoulder straps until 1943.

Very interesting short films! For me, from Russia, war is so close yet. I remember as I have found tails of German mines, and bullets. Very valuable was Schmaisser' patrones, without some spots of oxides. It was in childhood in Rostov-on-Don region, in 80th years.

Der Schauspieler der am ende sagt Soldatenglück - absolut markantes Gesicht mit riesigem Wiedererkennungswert.

Natürlich ist das wieder eine für meine Seele überaus beeindruckende Darstellung - so etwas hat die Welt - oder zumindest ich, der ich mich seit meiner Kindheit mit dem 2. Weltkrieg und den entbehrungsreichen Jahre danach innerlich auseinandersetze(n muß?), in dieser filmischen Perfektion noch nie gesehen. Aber man kann kaum noch atmen, so schnell werde ich mit eueren Bildern überflutet. Danke an alle Schauspieler, die wieder alles gegeben haben. Danke an das Drehbuch, die Regiearbeit sowie die digitalen Einspielungen und danke, daß ihr mit einer professionellen militärischen Beratung arbeitet. Vielleicht könnte noch der Rotarmist, der offenbar noch Details bei den Russendarstellungen vermißt (sh. in den Kommentaren hier), helfen. Ich weiß nicht, was er noch zu sagen hätte.
Nachtrag: Auch Aceton hat in seinem Beitrag noch eine Idee.

久しぶりに近接戦闘シーンは迫力があり緊迫感が伝わりました。薄暗い画像がソビエトの冬をよく表してました。モーゼルKar98のボルトアクションが決して劣っている訳でない事が解ります👍️

super gefilmmt und schön mal etwas eher am anfang vom Krieg zu sehn anstatt 1944-45 :) obwohl den Spät model Mauser (gestampfter oberband statt bearbeitet) bei 0:25 passt nicht ganz ins bild ;) aber das sind kleinichkeiten :D hut ab, saubere leistung und weiter so!

I've seen countless WW2 German solider pictures and footage and that guy who looks at the planes in the sky and is sitting down at the end, beckoning his comrade just has an authentic look to him as if he stepped from the pages of history itself. Great casting with that guy!

Понравился маленький фильм, очень хорошо подошли к обмундированию солдат. Поправить хочу : солдаты РККА не носили так пилотки. Ну и хотелось бы, чтоб русские солдаты тоже в кого-то попадали, а не только убегали, а то не понятно, как они тогда смогли отбросить немецкие войска от Москвы на 200 километров.

The average kill ratio for the Germans was 7.1 Soviet casualties per German, so that gives a little bit of context and shines light on how the soviets were really lower quality for the most part than Germans.
