Going back a couple of years pretty much everyone was thinking the F-35 and extremely capable F-15's, Typhoons etc would be able to defeat Russia fairly easily both in the air and taking out AD. Today there does seem to be a huge shift ranging from Neutral, we dont know. To Russian SAMs and Long range A2A being more than a match for what we have. There was also a very interesting story i read about an Italian F-35 encountering a Russian fighter that was escorting something. The F-35 pilot was left fearing for his life as the Russian fighter toyed with him (the F-35 being unable to track the Russian aircraft due to sudden system failures). Ultimatly im guessing NATO commanders have by now realised underestimating the Russians leads to a very bad day.....

I pointed out almost two years ago that the likely outcome was the partition of ukraine along some type of DMZ, and that russia needed to take ukraine up to the Dnieper River as a minimum security buffer against the predatory Western Military Empire. I think there is a fair chance the ukraine army could withdraw west of the Dnieper River in the event of some major collapse. They would probably lose much heavy equipment. After the Dnieper River how much of ukraine would russia even want to occupy? Odessa perhaps, but that is about it I should think.
All these villages and towns , have the population been evacuated? The farms in the country what about the animals? It’s rather horrible to think of all these places once full of people/livestock!

Going back a couple of years pretty much everyone was thinking the F-35 and extremely capable F-15's, Typhoons etc would be able to defeat Russia fairly easily both in the air and taking out AD. Today there does seem to be a huge shift ranging from Neutral, we dont know. To Russian SAMs and Long range A2A being more than a match for what we have. There was also a very interesting story i read about an Italian F-35 encountering a Russian fighter that was escorting something. The F-35 pilot was left fearing for his life as the Russian fighter toyed with him (the F-35 being unable to track the Russian aircraft due to sudden system failures). Ultimatly im guessing NATO commanders have by now realised underestimating the Russians leads to a very bad day.....

I pointed out almost two years ago that the likely outcome was the partition of ukraine along some type of DMZ, and that russia needed to take ukraine up to the Dnieper River as a minimum security buffer against the predatory Western Military Empire.
I think there is a fair chance the ukraine army could withdraw west of the Dnieper River in the event of some major collapse. They would probably lose much heavy equipment. After the Dnieper River how much of ukraine would russia even want to occupy? Odessa perhaps, but that is about it I should think.

However, it does not explain why the heat is so terrible for Ukrainians, but it seems to work differently on Russians!😅
