I got pulled into this after listening to a rare video, far as I know, that featured Norah and some other musicians basically taking turns singing songs and telling tales. I say got pulled, because that's what it's like when it comes to Norah. If I don't escape I'll listen to that voice for hours on end. She really has a rare talent of being able to express more emotion with inflection and grace in her singing, than many others can create singing louder and more powerfully. This video is a perfect example of that. Her quiet power never ceases to amaze me.
I have to say, your little performances over the past few months, have got me through a dark time, Norah. For that I thank you, deeply. I wish the best for you in return.
I listen to full production, amazingly recorded, insanely huge records all day long and then Norah comes up with a live video of her playing keys and recording through her phone, and suddenly everything comes crashing down. What makes us is human is us, our stories, our experiences, the bonds we make, the relationships we share, and Norah is such a subtle, beautiful reminder of what is important! It is hard not falling in love all over again. Thank you Norah, thank you for existing! I love you!
I didn't think I could fall more in love with this wonderful woman ❤ A multi-grammy winner takes time out of her day regularly to sit at and entertain us. A pure delight for the senses and escape from the strange times we are living in. No BS, no bells and whistles. Just her and you, it could only be more intimate if she were sitting in the room with you.
