YES!! you got it. I saw them live in Quebec City and I am not really a drum solo lover but he did it with such personality. He knows how to wear the makeup!! I was transfixed.
I can't imagine Eric Singer singing "Hard Luck Woman", just as good and beautiful as Peter used to... But also, I can't imagine Peter playing the drums like Eric.... ERIC ROCKSSSSS BABYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This solo his "vintage" and Eric play to reproduce the "old Kiss fashion". He can do better and by far. This guy use normally double base drum and his really technic. On this set, he use double pedal but he play all old kiss songs. Not complicated for him. I see him with Alice Cooper. Wow incredible. One of the top 15 drummers in the world.
Alice Cooper on *Brutal Planet Tour on July 2000*. Says -"one of the greatest drumers on all rock and roll... You don't ask me, ask him ERIC SINGER" (Awsome solo ten year ago too)
Its missing the big gong at the end. This Sarnia Bayfest stuff reminds me of when I saw them waaay back on Love Gun tour (1977 i think). I'm impressed with the quality of their performance now. (wish Ace & Peter were there though - for nostalgia's sake. Eric & Tommy do a great job though.).
@marsan079 Peter is just a straight forward drummer that does fills. Eric will take a fill whenever he can. Nothing wrong with both styles but sometimes Eric's fills get a bit sloppy where they dont need to be but he's a very good drummer
dude i understand what your saying, from a rock-and roll stand point eric is a better drummer, but peter has alway's been more of a jazz drummer, he said it himself, you technically yes your right, he was lucky to be in a rock band, but jazz drumming is a bit different than rock drumming, but i do agree that eric is more fitting for kiss.
peter does not suck! have you heard his solo on kiss alive?! fucking incredible, peter and eric are talented in different way's, neither of them are better.
I am a LONG time KISS fan & I had to grow to like each "new" member. I hated Eric Carr when he 1st joined, bu tthen I heard Creatures & I LOVED Eric Carr. Eric Singer is IMO the best drummer they have had. Also I am still trying to like Tommy Thayer. Until he does something other than trying to look & sound like Ace he will be nothing but a clone to me. Sonic Boom's guitar sound sounded like it could have been Ace. There was nothing on there to make you think otherwise.
I understand all the people who say that Peter Criss was the best KISS drummer just because he was the first, but I don't think Eric Singer was the best either, just because he's better than Criss. Eric Carr was by far the best KISS drummer. Best line-up was Paul, Gene, Ace and Carr!
@angus666ify hey joey jordison is my favorite drummer also, but it doesnt matter if you have one or 2 bass drums.... its not about looks. its about how a drummer plays. it obviously seems like you dont know what your talking about.
@SecretDady Shit! He beats the drums very hard, then! I use the same sticks as he does, and i still have the first pair i bought a couple of years back, and i play the same music as him!
I think you have to keep it in perspective - Eric Carr would have only gotten better and probably much more proficient if he were still alive. Eric Singer is a monster drummer, but if Eric Carr were alive - he would absolutely smoke Eric Singer - keeping in mind if Eric Carr had 19 more years added to his life!
What I meant is that there is no way you can compare P.Criss with any top drummers of these days, he was part of a legendary band and he made a drum lover of me when I was young. I'm a huge Rush fan too but I certainely don't agree whit you when you say that N.P. is overrated !! First time I hear that !
speak for yourself. I don't miss Pete's tepid playing at all, nor do I miss "Beth" grinding the show to a halt. Eric is a kick ass rock drummer. Pete wants to call himself a "Jazz drummer", and record music influenced by Barry Manilow anyway.
thats not peter criss, its eric singer on drums, wearing the costume, and playing the single bass drum peter criss drum set. steeling peter criss image, and his years of popularity. eric singer should make his own costume style and play his own solo.
@angus666ify Oh that's rich. You're comparing jordison with Singer? Then I can compare Jordison with George Kollias, wich makes Joey look like a child with his first drumset.
C'mon Peter was just so so and keep the beat. You love him cause he was the first Kiss drummer. Don't compare Singer with Criss, they are not in the same league. Singer his the best Kiss drummer at this time and by far !
I don't care if he could burn Buddy Richs ass....(not even close), criss still THE Catman....just not respect for gettin in someone elses costume/makup/character...all about the damn $ ! Won't be buying the 'new album' at the local wallyworld....
Eric singer smokes all kiss drummers Carr was good but nowhere in the ballbark of singer. And i was born into kiss in 1973 . Peter is my favorite but technically drumming Singer is waaaaay above carr & Criss
NO WAY! Eric Carr played always way too fast, wich had no dynamics at all. His grooves 'n beats were allways too basic. Eric Singer eats Carr & Criss for breakfast.
YES!! you got it. I saw them live in Quebec City and I am not really a drum solo lover but he did it with such personality. He knows how to wear the makeup!! I was transfixed.
peter criss was the all time drummer for KISS and he has a kick ass drum kit back in th day
I think the best drummer KISS ever had!! Eric Singer you are the Best.
greeting from Holland (the Netherlands)
1970Stanley
I can't imagine Eric Singer singing "Hard Luck Woman", just as good and beautiful as Peter used to... But also, I can't imagine Peter playing the drums like Eric.... ERIC ROCKSSSSS BABYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey t'était la toi aussi!!! c'était fou comme show
i want his drum set!!!!!
😍😍😍 eric i love 😍😍😍
We Miss Peter Criss
Its missing the big gong at the end. This Sarnia Bayfest stuff reminds me of when I saw them waaay back on Love Gun tour (1977 i think). I'm impressed with the quality of their performance now. (wish Ace & Peter were there though - for nostalgia's sake. Eric & Tommy do a great job though.).
he is the best!!!!!!
BEST ERIC SINGER SOLO BY FAR
eric singer is the best drummer of kiss
#
mrwasanisong how can eric still play like this when he is 58??? thats amazing!! 1 second ago
That Wasnt A Whole Show
Im going to see them if they come to toronto
Woo Hoo this is WILD MAN YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
pretty sick ass concert man !
Love me some Bayfest vids... R I P Stokes.
i like the faces he does, he never quit his character. he looks almost bored and lazy like a real cat
ha i was there!! :P
@marsan079 Peter is just a straight forward drummer that does fills. Eric will take a fill whenever he can. Nothing wrong with both styles but sometimes Eric's fills get a bit sloppy where they dont need to be but he's a very good drummer
..and a great drumsound...
i just became a fan of kiss when i went 2 this show in sarnia ontario what happened to eric carr
@mrwasanisong probably both, its been a trademark for years, yet drummers have the toughest job so he probably does sweat a lot
no one can beat him
tutto batteristi stasera!!!!!
Excellent
Very good!
dude i understand what your saying, from a rock-and roll stand point eric is a better drummer, but peter has alway's been more of a jazz drummer, he said it himself, you technically yes your right, he was lucky to be in a rock band, but jazz drumming is a bit different than rock drumming, but i do agree that eric is more fitting for kiss.

Is anybody catching that this is like a cross of several old Peter Criss solos and actually sounds NOTHING like the old Eric Singer solos?
I understand all the people who say that Peter Criss was the best KISS drummer just because he was the first, but I don't think Eric Singer was the best either, just because he's better than Criss. Eric Carr was by far the best KISS drummer. Best line-up was Paul, Gene, Ace and Carr!
I agree with you, Gene, Paul, Ace and Eric was the best KISS line up!!!!
hey eric carr was good he kept the band together in the 80s
he is like a new Eric Carr
he is awesome
@angus666ify hey joey jordison is my favorite drummer also, but it doesnt matter if you have one or 2 bass drums.... its not about looks. its about how a drummer plays. it obviously seems like you dont know what your talking about.
@mrwasanisong drummer's are extremely fit people
no one else in the band uses all 4 limbs to play
mines 9 minutes this isn't the full one but i got to say its up closer
eric carr and eric singer both good
Awesome i play drums but cant do that well actually i could a little if i had all of those parts because my is just a basic drum set
eric carr was the best rip
wonder if eric minds having to change his appearance in order to please everyone else? thought he used to have long blonde hair?
Still think the guy should have his own persona and make-up... but that's just me.
He'd be great as the Hawk!
Peter Rules!
Peter is no jazz drummer. He's merely a Fan of jazz drummers.
Still It Wasnt A Full Show
@angus666ify so does eric... on occasions
ERIC SINGER WOULD HAVE NO TROUBLE KEEPING UP WITH PETER CRISS!!!!!!
he didn't meant to copy peter and carr's solo beacuse gene told him to do so, actually he can do better than this
he's 52, but who's counting? (other than me and apparently you)
Eric uses a Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Ride!!!!
@angus666ify i loove kiss and eric singer to peices but joey is amazin
why does eric always wear them black sweat wrist bands? just for the image or does he actually use em to wipe his sweat? just curious.
hey wheres the gene simmons solo ?
drum set needs more cymbals but awesome drum solo
The 1992 one was waaaaaay faster & better than this one i dont know what u watched he was way better in 92
@SecretDady
Shit! He beats the drums very hard, then! I use the same sticks as he does, and i still have the first pair i bought a couple of years back, and i play the same music as him!

@nissansentraglx well clearly he doesnt otherwise he wouldnt be doing what hes doing
thats not peter criss, its eric singer on drums, wearing the costume, and playing the single bass drum peter criss drum set. steeling peter criss image, and his years of popularity. eric singer should make his own costume style and play his own solo.
thats his hair
@angus666ify Oh that's rich. You're comparing jordison with Singer?

Hmmm. John Bonham in Peter Criss makeup
Must be Neil Peart fans, who don't understand anything...
booze got to space ace
not pete
yeah he took 2 much drugs in 77
5:05 now hes bloody copying peter
did he over dose on drugs or something
YT Buddy Rich and see a 'real drummer"
Carr died of cancer...
@angus666ify Utterly pointless comment. So what? Joey's more overrated then he's good.
NO WAY!
Eric Carr played always way too fast, wich had no dynamics at all. His grooves 'n beats were allways too basic.
Eric Singer eats Carr & Criss for breakfast.
good dummmer but not impessed by the solo
@angus666ify Jordison is overrated
Nice joke
eric carr sucked, end of story.
But Eric Carr had more skill at drumming
