- 1991 Mercedes 300SL paint restoration? You got it! In this video we take you through the paint correction of our R129. The paint was absolutely destroyed after 30 years of use. Some areas required wet sanding, others required heavy cutting, but it all came out great! Follow along and enjoy this satisfying auto detailing transformation. @@ChromaticGarage no kidding all my life I’ve grown up in a body shop and have always enjoyed working on cars. But lately preserving them vs fixing them has caught my attention way more. Also less of a headache haha

How many pads per stage do you normally use on one car?

Just wanted to say mad respect bro! People don’t realize how much time the filming takes between adjusting camera settings, moving and adjusting tripods, B-roll, etc.- on top of an already very long detailing processor that. but you killed it man! Keep up the good work

I had to sell my grandad's W201 a few years after he passed away. Watching these videos make me miss the hell out of that car. I imagine myself taking care of that car like you do to this one though, and it makes everything OK again.
I love that man! I actually purchased this from a lady who’s husband passed away. Out of pure desire and respect I am planning to get it in as good shape as I can. It’s currently at a mechanic getting a massive overhaul
