    What a neat video! I loved it.
    I can see how a joint like this has value in certain builds.
    Where has this type of joint been used? Chairs perhaps?

      Thank you!! I could see it being valuable in chairs. Not sure what else it would be used for though. I like how if it is successful it will compress itself tight.

    I think if the relief cuts were closer to the edge of the board it may have “dovetailed” more effectively. Imagine trying to bend that much of a piece of wood.

      You could also dovetail with the length of the board instead of across the board like a normal wedged tenon which would give more flexibility to “dovetail”
