San Juan Mountains are a great place to explore. You won't be disappointed!

Ridden this trail several times. Love the stops in Silverton, Ouray and Ridgeway. Beautiful run west of Ridgeway, around thru Placerville, on into downtown Telluride early in the morning.

All beautiful places! Love Telluride as well...hoping to get a video out of that at some point. I was also surprised by a lesser known gem between Naturita and Gateway. If you keep heading west on CO145 as it merges with CO141, you will run into this epic, red rock canyon ride.

@@motolaxin2514 Oh yeah, west of Sawpit, takes you over towards Moab. I’ve never taken that route yet, but have heard riding over in there is fantastic too. There’s also a stretch if you enter Black Canyon National Park of Gunnison from the south entrance outside Montrose, it climbs thru about 53 miles of twisties, 1,000 ft canyon walls, and finishes north in a little town of Hotchkiss. After about 45 miles had to pull over for a minute to re-group. Those twisties will get to you after a bit! Lol. How long ago did you ride this Million Dollar Hwy?

Are you referring to CO Hwy 92, connecting Hotchkiss to US 50? Haven't been on that one yet, but it is on my list. I love exploring Colorado in the summer. So many great roads! I was on the Million Dollar Hwy this summer. Not my first time, but the conditions were better for filming this summer. San Juans are amazing!

@@motolaxin2514 Yes go east on Montrose a ways, on 50, then you turn left crossing the river, and heading North on 92 all the way to Hotchkiss. Even before you get to 92, you can ride up on 347 to take a peak at some incredible views, one canyon up in there is over 2,200 feet deep! But jump back out on 50 east to Hwy 92 north to Hotchkiss; that’s the gem. One small gas station a few miles shy of Hotchkiss. I found out about 92 calling the park and a ranger pointing out, if you’re on a bike, 92 is your route and keep your speed well under control. Once we made it to Hotchkiss, we turned east and took a beautiful ride on in to Carbondale, then hung a right and took a short ride on into Aspen to spend the night. Next morning grabbed breakfast at Poppycocks, then rode south out of Aspen up and over Independence Pass. That’s some great rides to take, vlog, this summer!

Awesome. I've been there a month ago on my Indian RM. Had a beer in Silverton, tranquil small town at the foot of the hills. Your bike sound like a gold wing?

I haven't had a lot of experience with Gold Wings, so I don't know if my bike sounds like one. I ride a Ninja 1000. I like the comfort and responsive throttle. The Rockies are a great place to ride a moto during the summer!

@@motolaxin2514 Hell yeah. It was on my way back from Vegas to Houston. I told myself I can not sustain that 120F heat and I40 traffic anymore, so why not take time going north, enjoy the view and cold fresh mountain air! I'm telling my buddies why bother going to the 'dragon', Colorado got everything you could imagine, and beyond!

Never been to the dragon, but I hear (from a fellow Colorado rider) that it is a bit overrated. One of the best rides in Colorado is Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park. If you haven't been on that, I highly recommend it. (I have a video as well if you want to check it out).
