"Gamebryo" is a separate company from Bethesda and they make a business off selling their engine, like Epic with the Unreal engine. Bethesda's problem is that they stopped licensing that engine, and therefore stopped receiving updates. They've instead been updating the engine themselves and it kinda sucks.
Todd Howard has been quiet since this dropped. So amazing what mods are able to do for nv from combat animation sound and visual overhauls. Keep up the good work
Reminder that Bully was also made with Gamebryo and that game had good melee combat. This is a step in the right direction.
