I finally get paid tomorrow thus I will finally get my hands on this track. I keep coming back to it whenever anything acoustic comes up on itunes. Hell I love Nick Cave and hell I love Amanda Palmer. The silence of the audience throughout is incredible.

As much as I love Amanda and her music, when I first heard the piano and recognized it as ship song, I was a little skeptical. Nothing against demand is prowess as a performer, it's just that I think ships song almost epitomizes Nick Cave and that's not easy to pull off for anyone. It should come as a no surprise to me that she exceeded my expectations and some of the same emotions well up from her voice. It's true that I may be a little bit biased. Lol
I don't most people realize this is NOT an Amanda Palmer original song. Nick Cave and Anita Lane created this masterpiece. It's a beautiful cover like everything Amanda does
