I first fell in love with the Martin 00015-M years ago in Victoria B.C. but the $1200 asking price was out of my range. I then found this Sigma, and it is everything that I've wanted. I put a L R Baggs active pickup on it and it's very versatile. I'm no Eric Clapton so a resourceful guitar is very practical, FILLS THE BILL!
Just want to straighten out some misconceptions posted here about Sigma guitars. Sigma are not "made by Martin." The Sigma name was used by Martin starting in the 70s to sell Japanese made Martin copies, but they were eventually phased out. The current company purchased the rights to the Sigma name a couple years ago and are making Martin clones in Asia (I've been told at the Cort factory.) They will be sold in America under the Kindred name.
amazing guitar, i have one and it's up there with Martin. it's completly machined like a Taylor guitar! vergt good build quality! sound is amazing love it!
Wow,what a beautiful song and great playing. What is it's name?? Do you have a website for your music? You should. Thank you for posting!! Thom Miller USA
@@brin57 That's insane value then. Just checked, £599 for the 000-15E, I'm guessing the "E" stands for "Electro" as in it has a pickup. That's awesome value for money. It sounds so sweet.
Unfortunately this is the all solid version and costs £499 but still less than half the price of the Martin.I have the Sigma 00-28VS from the new range and it's a corker!
0:22 that nifty little vibrato though! ha kudos

Wow! This is the best sounding acoustic I've ever heard! What a shame, they don't sell these in the Czech Republic.

I know it’s been a while. But ofc back and sides are NOT solid. They’re laminated as you’ve wisely assumed.
Wow, I'm sooo stuck between this and the Martin 000-15m. What should i get?!
Son incroyable, Pouvez-Vous me dire les différences sonores avec une martin 000 15m, est ce qu'elle rivalise en terme de qualité ?
What is the name of this beautiful piece? I must learn it!
+Bl3ss3dburrito Wildwood Flower

The answer is open G (DGDGBD) if anybody else is wondering the same thing.
If I had a truck load of cash then as you say it has to be a Martin but ......
well this is (in england) £220 and i have to say the martin is not £1000 better! you could buy other stuff with the money you save after buying this!
