The Wario Land games are underappreciated enough as is. We don't need to completely erase his Wario Land elements from Smash.

I love how the creator of the Spamton workshop creator also included the phone, which in the lore, was the phone Spamton uses when in the Queen’s Mansion, as well as finding Mike, which helped him to Spamton’s big success while it lasted. Making the down strong move the phone and making it boost his Kromer gain AND boosting his attacks are both clever and amazing.
And it also causes a playstyle where you want to be near the phone at all times, its free kromer! And, in the lore, he was always on the phone with whoever was on the other end
It’s even named Make Them Ring, a lyric in BIG SHOT that implies how Mike is the one who gave Spamton his success in the first place
We don’t know if Mike is the one on the phone.

Honestly I just thought it was a butchering of "chroma". Given the whole light/dark stuff the game has, I just went with that. Either that or a joke about marketplace saturation or something. Never knew it actually meant that.

Some things did change from beta to the final version, so i'd like to quickly mention them:
-Pipis Shot now has gravity. It bounces along the stage, making it less predicatable.
-Up Air can be boosted by Kromer.

Gnome did a really good job with this. It plays off the character and adds great references. I love the more goofy moves involving his head deforming as well as the neo moves(the up air in particular). The phone is also a really cool mechanic.

This mod looks FANTASTIC, kinda crazy to see another high quality Spamton mod this soon. Definitely gonna be trying this out.

I feel like this is what spamton would have always wanted, a body he has full control over which lets him do whatever he wants and this time, *no strings attached!*

I feel like I’d play pretty damn well as Spamton, ignoring the memes and jokes or whatever, his moves seem really well made and relatively easy to learn
Also real quick, there’s one last move I wish he had
It’s basically just like little Mac’s down special, which is a strong counter hit, but Spamton’s version is called The Counter Offer
The animation for Spamton G Spamton's "shield" is an add so the add is what you would call a counter offer and the opponent has to think for a second on what to do which I find to be funny.
Okay but hear me out: Taunting should have a small % chance to heal the opponent. : P

i love how this completely incapsulates the vibe spamton gives off and how it captures a lot of elements of his character
Oh my God, I have literally seen three unique iterations of Spamton in Rivals of Aether today and it keeps getting better.
This is really cool, its cool how spamton gets some much love as a character even though he's supposed to be glitching out and broken, or even just insane.

You forgot to mention that Forward Specil can swallow projectiles to gain +300 KR if you hold down
it’s pretty funny going online and doing Spamton dittos and they spit back your charge blast only for you to eat it though
Holy shit, this has so much thought and creativity put into it. Looks amazing!
I'mma be real, this character looks like he can build up to be absolutely *batshit* in the right hands. Like, no offense, but your match showcase did not do Spamton justice -- and part of the problem there is the NPC, too. The longer a match goes on, the more kromer gets transmitted, the more powerful Spamton becomes.
So Just play patient and wait for the opponent to fuck up and then attack.

To an extent, yes. Spamton has to hit the opponent to build up Kromer, so hit-and-run tactics are probably gonna be needed.
@@supremechaosbeing2696 I'm more referring to his potential than quality; he's actually quite balanced, currently. I'm just eager to see him used by a pro against a pro, so his true potential can shine - imagine a phone that covers the whole stage, or having the kromer to enhance literally every attack! Lategame Spamton had the potential to be a total *beast* of a fighter, because he just gets stronger as the match drags on.
It's an incredible mod, but the fact that he is fast and versatile while also having a large, fast, high damage, high knockback, storable, aimable, ampable projectile is kind of insane
Another very well made character showcase, good job!
I refuse to believe that such high qualaty animations and backgrounds were made THIS fast, chapter 2 has been out what? A month like too much? This is insane!

Never thought I'd see two different characters that take stuff from Business Casual Man from Slap City so frequently lol (the other being spongebob reusing his animations in nickelodeon all star brawl). Really good work though, the phone mechanic is super cool.
I haven't heard of the game or character, so its weird that it has apparently happened twice. either the person working on spmton knows the game and character, or its just a similar move.

Everything about this is blowing my mind. The moves, the Kromer Mechanic, and especially the stage. You managed to fit the entire character's personality and story into his moves and stage is beyond incredible
