Very balanced and honest review Cameron. The vehicle has it's shortcomings, I'm not a fan of CVT at all having driven a 2nd gen X Trail a lot, but,,,
I agree with you that this one, at it's core, is a good, roomy, family daily driver. It provides an excellent value proposition that no one should be disappointed with.

We have this car in just the ST version. Does it have CarPlay?

Good car like them a lot but the Jayco CVT is known worldwide as trouble a real roll of the dice to see if you get one that doesn't last a hundred thousand ks ..

Yeah, some of our reviewers said the same things about their cars. Let's hope the next gen does better there.

Idk why people don't like it tbh, we dad has has a 2011 murano that has a cvt. It drives wonderfully. Infact we have gone to road trips with this car and it had no problems so far

Fuel consumption is generally no better than a Aurion I had at one stage but the Aurion punched out 200kwv weight was roughly the same as the X-Trail so where is the benefit of a big cubic 4cyl with the dreaded CVT that's been known to fail post warranty and 100 and something kms
