Tatiana goes that low in a few of their songs. Another song with really deep growls and also deeply heartbreaking lyrics is Home Back about their hometown being caught in the 2014 war in eastern Ukraine but even more poignant now. The guys are all stuck in Kyiv, Tatiana is currently in the US with husband Alex Lopez of Suicide Silence. Also, they just announced Jinjer t-shirts saying "we want our home back" with proceeds going to Ukrainian charities.
Today I watched a Skype interview on TV with a portuguese-ukrainian man (who is living and working here in Portugal), that reminded me of Home Back: his wife and older son are still living in Ukraine and he went there in December to attend the birth of his daughter. He had a plane ticket to return to Portugal on February 25th but he never made it out of there. He and his family managed to find some sort of shelter from the bombings and the way he found to calm his 6 year old son, who got scared with the sound of gun fighting and bombs exploding, was to tell him that it was fireworks. I'm being honest, tears came to my eyes when I heard him saying that. 😢

If you would like to check a different female fronted band then I suggest The Pretty Reckless. No growls, no screams, but Taylor kicks ass none the less. It seems most people jump in with "Make Me Wanna Die"

This was the first single off their newest album. The whole album is wonderful. It's post covid so this song is about being stuck at home slowly losing your mind.
Fun reaction! Tatiana is safe with her husband in California, but Eugene, Vlad, and, Roman are all doing their part in Ukraine. Everyone should do anything they can to support Jinjer, and their entire country in these dark times.

Check out Arch Enemy "Nemesis Live" with first singer Angela, she is a badass first lady I heard rowl who later became Manager and the band got new singer Alissa with colorfully outfits and mean growls. Secondly P!nk singing "Try" Live at the America Music awards 2012 or singing "Glitter In The Air " live at the Grammy's in 2010.T hirdly Loreena McKennit singing "Caravanseri" live at the Alhambra and finally Tori Amos singing "Icicle" live on the Jay Leno show.
Very good taste! I often liken Tatiana to P!nk. Now she just needs the aerial harness and she'd be the ultimate diva ever! I think P!nk might be the best pop/rock singer ever. She's stunning. Tatiana is awe inspiring in different ways, but I see similarities. Empowerment is one of the main ones. For me they're both the embodiment of femininity and power. I love them both very much. And Tori Amos! And Beth Hart! All vulnerable yet indomitable.

The guys in the band say she sometimes gets pissed off, but she never uses the death growl on anyone in real life lol. I mean you probably really want to do those dishes and take out that trash, but she might not necessarily decapitate you if you're careful.
Everyone falls in love with Tati a little bit. Or a lotta bit lol. I've been to a Jinjer concert and stood against the rail. I was surrounded by girls and women. Tatiana could have had anyone in that hall that night, man woman or nonbinary. She's like a magnet. She's one of a kind.
