I'm pretty sure those locking collars were installed on the wrong side. It's supposed to go on the end so it doesn't shift the rubber over. The curve of the hangar will hold the rubber inplace on the other side... Can AWE chime in to be sure? Otherwise I'm reading their instructions backwards...
I agree with you, he insisted this was how he had done it before. Doesn’t seem to matter because as far as I know, she hasn’t had any issues with it But I’d just follow AWEs instructions to be safe, I appreciate you stopping by the channel!
@@HorsepowerPizza Yeah I just finish the install. Wasn't terrible but had 1 hiccup and then wasn't sure about 1 thing because the instructions were pretty weak. I'm pairing it to the stock downpipe but wasn't aware I had to re-use the OEM connecting pipe that was on the downpipe. I was baffled how the 3 inch sleeve extender could reach the downpipe properly. It took me longer than it should have to realize I needed to re-use the OEM sleeve and then bind the two together. My other issue was I slightly bent one of the pipes by over tightning a clamp and it didn't allow the other pipe to fit. I had to pull out pliers to open it back up which actually worked pretty decent and then it slipped on fine. Tightened everything back up and she looks perfect. Sounds clean. Very tame when paired with the stock downpipe but honestly that was all I was looking for. I'm an older guy so super crazy loud is not my jam. I'm sure if you go after market DP with this, it'll be rediculous.
@@Latinomicz glad it ended up working out. Her car is on a stock DP too, I think it would be really loud with aftermarket but it’s tasteful as is. My car is aftermarket downpipe, stock mid pipe/muffler and same thing: tasteful but sounds good
fr I have the invidia catless dp and it’s as loud if not louder than this with muffler and res but I’m looking to buy the AWE track exhaust to add soon to cause some hell
Some really solid tips in this video!! Thanks for posting and enjoy.
Absolutely! Thank you for continually producing quality products!
Same exhaust I have. She definitely needs to get a downpipe next
I think it sounds pretty good, but definitely will need a downpipe to open it up more! I’m sure Colby will have her talked into it in no time

@@HorsepowerPizza Installing this tomorrow myself. With a car jack and 2 jack stands, lol. Wish me luck.
Best of luck! I’ve swapped an engine like that so I think you’ll be fine! Lol

Downpipe first.. but okay. AWE is good stuff, and that's a great catback system.
While I agree, she didn’t want a downpipe. Thanks for stopping by the channel!
There is literally no point in getting an exhaust before a down pipe with these cars. The difference is slim to none in terms of loudness and tone.

I did a resonator delete and Clubsport S muffler on mine. Massive difference even with stock DP.
cheaper to get a catback and then do a downpipe in the future. To get and actually use the potential of a DP is like 3x the cost of this exhaust
i got the awe track dp and it’s not even loud :( i thought it would at least be a little louder than it is.
Would this be louder than a muffler delete?
I don’t think so, because it still has a muffler it’s just aftermarket
What of PA are you guys located at.
York/Lancaster
I’m in mount Pocono
Nice!
