Hard disagree on ratchets and sockets. Ran a semi-pro race team using HF ratchets and sockets and never had a problem with any of them. And we abused the hell out of them.
I particularly liked the color coded sockets. Made it really easy to grab and go.
Their ratchets aren't too bad not great IMO, but the sockets are every bit as good as any name brand I've used.

I use a composite Pittsburgh rachet in a CNC shop, running a makino cell. I used the first one for about 6months, abusing the life out of it daily. With it being composite I would just smack shit with it like it was a deadblow, before I threw it 10ft on accident and it broke the switch lever last week. Easiest warranty exchange ever, too. I think it took about a minute to hand them the tool, grab a new one off the shelf, wave and walk out. Super smooth too, for a 72 tooth tool.

Can't agree with the rachets. I have the Pittsburg professional and have used them in a tractor and auto repair shops an they have held up just as good as my Snap On

Yes I agree, the Pittsburgh expandable ratchets are even great. Use them on all the old international tractors and the they hold up great. Icon is even better
I agree. My 3/8 pittsburh ratchet has been one of my main ratchets for over 5 year and it holds up as good as my other 12 snapon 3/8 ratchets

Same! I've used the same 2 Pittsburgh ratchet ,3/8 1/2,maintaining lawncare/snowplow tucks and equipment in Minnesota for almost 5 yrs and they have never even slipped on me. Zero issue with the ratchets 10/10

I like HF, and I know what to expect. Years ago I bought an under $40 SDS drill instead of a $200 quality drill, and one function of the drill broke almost immediately, but the impact function worked fine, which is why I bought it. If I lose any HF tools I don't come unglued like I would if I lost one of my Craftsman or Snap-On tools. I like to think that HF tools can be teaching tools; if you buy a cheap compressor and it lasts long enough, then a smart person accepts he got his money's worth and uses the experience to plan the next purchase.
Agreed 100%. Premature optimization is the Devil’s playground. I’ll buy the chinesium HF tool for 20% the price, knowing it’s not made to last. I usually like to buy quality items that last, but I’m not a tradesperson. Most of my tools won’t get enough use to justify the premium. When they break, they’ve justified the premium.

One thing i totally agree on, your totally correct is those warrior drill bits, mines are in broken peices in a box, but i dont do serious contractor drilling, payday going to buy Hercules bits and see how they hold up, always fun to walk around harbor freight on payday buying crap you really don't need.
I never thought about the small measurements being off on squares and such. Very interesting stuff.
The Pittsburgh Pro 3/8" composite ratchet held up just as good as the other brand ratchets people were using when I worked at a bus factory.
I'm going to have to STRONGLY disagree about the cheap clamps. Clamps are soooooo expensive at the big box stores. As a beginner wood worker that doesn't have a large budget buying exclusively those exact clamps you said not to buy allowed me to say enough money to buy other more import tools that were needed.... Honestly I own 10 ranging in all the sizes. Only complaint is I've had to glue down the rubber pieces on a few because they would fall off that's it.....btw I've used mine for 3+ years and I've not been kind to them...
I agree on clamps, I use the 6 inch or smaller generally and the HF version works fine for what I need.

I disagree about the clamps. I have a number of grip clamps from HF that I have been using for years with no issue. Recently, I was building a room addition and needed larger clamps to hold OSB sheathing to to studs. I got several more clamps from HF and they worked great, at a fraction of the cost of name brand clamps like Irwin. I do agree about the drill bits though...👍
None of the plastic grip clamps are particularly good, so it's hard to say that the HD ones are bad.
The HF clamps blow irwin out of the water with grip force and durability in mind
Yes thank you. I've had HF pipe clamps for 20 years. The grip clamps have full 12" capacity while DeWalt at HD only has 11". 6x the price for less capacity??? WTF?

The sanding flapper discs for my grinders are excellent. The flux core welding wire I use on my Lincoln Welder is excellent. The auto dimming welding helmets are a great buy for any welder.
I’ve been using the heck out of the pittsburg squares and their pretty darn good I was thinking on getting combination squares soon to test them. I’ve been renovating my camper and using those squares have gave me good straight lines and measurements
I grew up without a father figure and had a clean slate no loyalty to a specific brand. I’m 35 now and bought my first rolling box and masters mechanic set from harbor freight. I still have 80 percent of those tools and most of the replacements were do to loses not breaking. I use them almost everyday for my work as well. Pittsburgh, icon, and Quinn are great tools. I’ve never broke a ratchet doing normal work. I have broke 3/8 with 1/2 inch adapter doing stupid things as a young man but never had one break under normal conditions.
I grew up with a dad mechanic. And auto body restorer. And I had absolutely no interest in tools growing up and never learned about using tools until I joined the workforce as an adult. Being a sad sack fatherless crybaby doesn't prevent you from learning about tools. Being uninterested in tools does.

Can we get the reason WHY to skip each product? Like whats wrong with the tape exactly? Is it too thin? tear too easily? Not sticky enough? Leaves behind residue or what? One person's issue may be no problem for someone else to deal with
Totally agree with the sandpaper.
About the Tape - Getting the colored electrical tape is great for when you need to tag wires at each end so you know which wire is what. Other than that, I wouldn't use it for actual electrical work. Oh, and I've used the red electrical tape to tape over an outlet that I don't want to use. Great visual aid. So, it does have it's uses.
I used a couple of rolls of StikTek blue tape and they worked fine. When I ran out I got a roll of Scotch blue tape at Lowe's, which I cussed for the entire roll. When it was gone I bought more StikTek.
The drill bits are fine for routine use. I've never broken one under 3/16". While I have broken the smaller bits, I can say that about every brand of bit I've ever used.
I buy the 4 1/2 x 1/16" cut off wheels in 10 packs, and I've never had one shatter. They don't last as long as better brands, but for what they cost- less than .50¢ each- that doesn't really matter.
Avanti cut off wheels are $2.00 each Diablo is $2.60, and neither one lasts 4-5 times longer.
Precision? The value of their Pittsburgh dial indicators and levels can't be beat. Both have lifetime warranties.
Their ratcheting clamps are bulky and clunky. Irwin clamps will fit into much tighter spaces and operate much more smoothly. That said for general use they work fine, and you can get 5 of the 12" clamps for the price of 1 Irwin. I wouldn't recommend them over Irwin, but it's great to have a bunch of them around when extra clamps are needed. Lifetime warranty if they break.
The price point of Drill Master, Chicago Electric, and some Warrior tools make the extended warranty unnecessary. However when getting into the better tools like Bauer and Hercules it's probably worth it. In most cases the price will still be less then other brand names, and there is a definite advantage to the HF warranty in that it's actually an exchange.
If your rotary hammer, miter saw, or table saw breaks on the job site take it to any HF, put it on the counter, and walk out with a brand new tool. Productivity lost might be a couple of hours.
With any other brand you have to:
-Find a service center
-Take or ship the tool in
-Wait for them to do a diagnostic, then wait for them to decide if it's a warranty issue
-Wait for them to fix it
-Wait for them to ship it back, or go pick it up.
Productivity time lost will be days or weeks.
Icon tools are professional grade tools, and the prices reflect that. Regular Pittsburgh tools aren't great, but they do have a lifetime warranty on all of them. For a household tool kit they're probably fine. There is also a difference between Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Pro, of which the latter are actually better. In addition, the Quinn line of tools are really good without having to step up to the expense of Icon.

I agree with the clamps. I have a bunch of Irwin and HF. The plastic ends on the HF clamps break easily. I’ve found several of the smaller drill bits in the drill indexes to not be straight and wobble. They are not usable at all.
I don't agree with your comment on Pittsburg ratchet at all. I got every single one of them and I love them esp the ones with 72 gears.
I can agree with most all. I will say though the clamp you showed they are the newer ones and work half decent. When you can get them on sale I was getting the 18 inch for 3.99 I think it was maybe 4.99. They do not have the strong pull power like an irwin or other brand but they do get the job done now. The old ones broke fairly easy. I used a bunch of them to hold beams in place on a house demo project and they have been in use since. Great video!

I have had good luck with the composite ratchet and the extendable ratchets
I haven’t used the Hercules sandpaper but the Bauer discs are great! I use the 5 and 6” for my orbital and DA in automotive body/paint work. Avoid the warrior stuff unless you’re getting heavy stripping discs for high speed sanders or grinders.

I'm using my first pack of Hercules brand sand paper. I'm really impressed with how durable and long lasting it is. I bought a multi grit pack and am really happy with the two sheets I've used. To be honest, I expected normal Harbor Freight junk but that was not he case at all.
I definitely agree with you on some of their tools, especially the plastic clamps. I got one use out of some of them😲
The foldable hex keys fell apart on me
I bought those 3 set torx/star wrenches years back and still use them for quick work on 4 wheel Razors and fasteners.
3:43 I've replaced my craftsmen ratchets 3 times over the years vs once on a pitsb ratchet I bought in 2002. I use to build show cars and naw I'm semi retired and still use them often my snapon is worse.

The cheap tools, even the flimsy ones, often have their use. Things like the drill bit sets and their hardware variety packs can be nice to have around in pinch even with the so-so quality. But I absolutely agree on avoiding their tape, sandpaper and measuring tools at all costs no matter how cheap they are, they're just not worth the headaches.
In my experience the regular bits are junk beyond drilling mild steel. The Bauer step bits are damn good for the money. I use them on stainless all the time, and that's really tough on drills. I did try their titanium bits and they walked around on stainless like trying to drill into a socket.
Regarding the clamps, note the design of the clamping surface. Specifically the grooves. They are great for holding perpendicular pieces like a small table frame into a 90 degree leg set up. Doubt that I'm explaining it well but just looking at them a little closer will probably tell you what I mean.
Ratchets I never had a problem with and for some reason one does break they will replace just take broken one in and grab one of shelf so easy and no hassle. My buddy broke one by abuse he had no problem exchanging it.

As a former Harbor Freight employee, I'd stay away from the squeeze clamps. Alot of returns.
I like the hf corner clamps for wood working.
I have bought everything mentioned except the sandpaper and drill set and have nothing negative to say about it does the job and for cheap i don't expect much from it and it works for me.

Been using the same black grips for 3yrs now. Love them. Also love the warrantys. Some places want to fix it. Harbor Fraight replaces it.
The Harbor Freight item i bought that was the most disappointing to me was a circular saw alignment straight edge intended to clamp across a sheet of plywood to make a straight cut. First, it wouldn't extend far enough to reach across a 48 inch piece of plywood. Second, when clamped to a narrower piece, it wouldn't clamp tight enough to keep from sliding out of alignment. Third attempt, it totally broke to an unusable piece. Trash canned it at that point. The guy is right about measuring tools. Even the framing square I bought wasn't square.
The whole point of harbor freight is to buy tools you think will get light use. Primarily as a DIYer. When you break them, mission accomplished. Now you can justify buying a new one that isn’t chinesium (ie. not at harbor freight) for 3x the price because you’ve proven you’ll use it enough. Buy once, cry once is a lot less wasteful, if you can predict what you’ll use to its breaking point. Big if true.
But harbor freight is the best way to bootstrap a respectable set of your own tools on a shoestring budget.
Everyone rags on their drill bits, but they’ve worked fine so far for me.
The worst buys there seem to be inherently disposable items that make a big impact on your project. Tape, sandpaper, brushes. But then things like zip ties are totally fine.
My other rule for HF is nothing safety critical. I’d never buy a jackstand there. I don’t care how they’ve been tested. You can show me 10000 of them standing up to the rated load. You’re trusting your life to a piece of metal made in China. It only takes one defective unit to end you. A rate of failure greater than zero is unacceptable.
Dont buy pullers or exhaust pipe expanders. Under load the threads strip off the shank
All I use are the warrior cut off wheels. The only time I seem to have problems with them is if things bind up for some reason.
I needed a cheap corded drill and picked up a $18 warrior brand drill at harbor freight. I got it too hot and smoke poured out of it. I let it cool off and continued drilling - it stunk but it continued to work.

I have some Pittsburg socket sets and they’ve held up just fine as has the hand tools I’ve bought there.
In general - you get what you pay for at harbor freight.
Good content, but I do use the extended warranties with ZERO hassle. For the most part I go back at the end of the extended period of time and get a new tool for whatever the cost happened to be.
I've had great success with their cutoff wheels. The pack I'm still working through was before they had their 3 tired system, so the quality may have changed. I haven't had a single one shatter and they've all been useable down to the end.
I've used a lot of their cut off wheels over the years, never had a problem. You just can't put any side load on them or they will break, like any cut off wheel.
I concur about the grip clamps; when they fail I throw them into a bucket ( that I throw the receipts into, also) and just take them back to HF for an exchange. I have also just returned them to exchange without a receipt, when refused (because of no receipt) I ask for the manager and remind him that HF is the only place that sells these particular clamps - never fails.
yea, I’ve changed my mind some on the clamps…. my bad experience was from a while ago and i recently tried some and they’ve definitely improved, plus the warranty makes it a great deal
If you are drilling steel the Harbor Freight "titanium" bits are just not good enough, invest in a nice cobalt bit set. Other than that I like all my harbor freight stuff BH.

I have been only using cutting disc, grinder wheels and flap discs from hf.
Is there a lot of shattering w cut off discs? I use them on my grinders and have had good luck. They are kind of fragile if I don't pack the grinder right and pressure on the disc while it's sitting under a few tools can snap it, but they've been decent when actually using them to cut metal, both the 4 1/2" and the 3" cut offs

The top of the line thunderbolt edge batteries are actually really good. check out some of the tests on RUclips. they perform as good or better than top brands and they're much cheaper they're the only batteries I buy now
I haven't had a problem with the grip clamps. Granted, I've never used them for anything heavy. They're great whenever I only have one free hand
HF is a tier system like you said...GO cheap you get cheap..plastic is cheap simple and easy to remember. And btw drills for example buying at a store like Homedepot isn't the best option either..for example Dewalt sells to HD a cheaper verson of a drill then you would get from Dewalt direct..people thing oh its HD it's good..lol

I have had cutoff discs shatter on me. Fortunately no injuries. I have not ever had a grip clamp fail, but have actually broken an expensive Irwin clamp. I usually stay away from buy HF power tools but may try some of their higher end things, like a multi-tool. I agree with all the rest of you points. Now I use 3M Cubitron sandpapers exclusively.

The Hercules and Bauer lines are great.
As for the extended warranties, I see lots of pro painters getting the airless sprayers with a warranty. They love it because when (if) something happens, they just return it for a new one "no questions asked".... and on the replacement sprayer, they told me to just purchase a new extended warranty. I will be spraying my home soon and will be doing the same thing.

I bought one of the paint sprayers at Harbor Freight when I painted my house. It worked great but suddenly stopped working. They exchanged it without problem.
I actually love harbor freight sockets and ratchets, their impact sockets are amazing although the metric sets always skip, and their pittsburgh green handle ratchets are from what I've found very very very strong. I however don't care too much for their "indexible head ratchet" as its more gimmicky than anything else but it is handy at times.

I agree 100%. Definitely don't buy duct tape or electrical tape. No razors either they shatter and it's scary. Can't go wrong with Duracell. Got a bad batch of energizers and was disappointed.
I've had a set of harbor freight set of T handle Allen wrenches for for 10 plus years they have been nothing but great

I just bought a set of micrometers. They're perfectly sized. Lines right up with my 30 year old Craftsman. Lines up perfectly with my bore gauges. Lines up with my calipers. All within .001
My ratchets all work just fine. The only one I've had serious issues with are the ratcheting breaker bars. Went through 3 of them before I just switched it for a solid one. Every other ratchet has lasted me forever. The new ones they just released are absolutely fire though. So many teeth, super quiet, almost 0 backdrag. Like seriously. I've spun in fasteners that you could put in by hand with these ratchets. Crazy good. One is so quiet and free spinning it's actually a detriment to it's use since you don't know if you're making any progress lol
As for the clamps, yeah... They suck. But they work!
Most of their stuff works fine when you're not crazy hard on it.
I use the black oxide warrior bits in a professional shop I enjoy them what I have to suggest is use cutting oil I see people not using it and burning them up you also need to keep in mind don’t put insane pressure everrrrr on a drill bit put stable light pressure and let the bit do the cutting I use the black oxide because it’s easy to re sharpen I have used the same ones since they came out I will never buy a set of warrior cutting disc again though I used it let the disc due the cutting and the disc shattered all in the pack did but one shattered tore my arm up and got stuck in my saftey glasses
Sorry but their Pittsburgh Pro and above ratchets are good the money. They have a lifetime warranty that they readily stand behind, you give them the rachet and they give you a new one. I've never had an issue with their ratchets, breaker bars, or sockets.
I’m surprised to see the clamps, I’ve had mine for 2 years and used it for pushing in brake calipers, I wonder how much pressure you are putting on them to get them to crack

I have a large collection of the "cheap" clamps and the only complaint I have is that small nut/ bolt holding the head came off. I just took two of them, bolted them together and I now use it as a spreader for certain things.
About all can agree on is don't by the cheap tier of consumables. Blades, sandpaper, drill bits. Unless it's just for one job. If it's something you're going to use a lot check the price dif between what you really want and their high tier stuff, it's usually not much. Oh and I would agree on the hex and T wrenches but the big store brands aren't any better. I went through so many trying a good one for rotating inserts in the mills, I ended up buying tips from Wiha I think it was, and a nice big T handle from HF for my giant hands. The handles on the small tools are smaller than my pinkie and I can't get a grip on them. I've abused the hell out of their socket wrenches and only broke 2. It's always one flipper that chips...
Anything you bet your life on. Jack stands come to mind.
I do metal work alot, use a lot of different flap discs. I haven't had one of the cheaper HF ones break on me yet, maybe once. For those who don't know, flap discs do expire. But they wear down a little quicker than some nicer options. But in my experience with the price of them it kinda evens out cost wise to the nicer ones. They have great angle grinders, so long as you don't focus your review on the $10 coupon ones. I still have some Chicago electrics going on 8 years lol

Nah, I can't agree. The plastic grip clamps are almost always trash. Their metal quick release bar clamps and c clamps are a fantastic value, though.
I don’t use the Warrior cut off wheels daily, but I don’t have a problem with them nor 4 1/2” angle grinder disc. I have a Harbor Freight 4 1/2” angle grinder that was given to me years ago, still using it. Those good Thunderbolt batteries aren’t Energizer quality, but budget friendly. I’ve had some bad luck with Warrior drill bits, just went to Bauer. Our son told me if I want lasting drill bits & recip blades get Milwaukee, Diablo circular saw blades. I have Pittsburgh ratchets with lifetime warranty, one broke, went to my local HF & got a replacement hassle free. When I’m tackling a bigger job out comes my Craftsman, Snap-on, & MAC tool friends, we’ve been together for many trouble free years. Keep’m coming

I have never had an issue with the HF cut off wheels grinding discs and flap discs. They may not las the longest but when you compare 3-5$ HF flap discs to 15-20$ from Awisco its a no brainer.

You can find some name brand tape at a lower price than some competition at Hf for example, 3m green masking tape
The warrior bits are fine. The Dewalt oxide are better, but these work and they are cheap! I also love the pittsburg composite ratchets, super light, and they feel nice, and lifetime warranty.

Sockets and ratchets - I buy the $5 sets and leave them all over the place. In cars, house, shop, or wherever. Quantity over quality in that case. I do have a high quality set, but the convenience of so many sockets sets at hand outweighs the lower quality. I do wish it had a better ratchet included but in that case you get what you pay for. I've purchased the Pittsburg individual ratchets and they work well. As for clamps, I use lots of clamps and can't afford more than a couple Irwins. So, I make up for quality with quantity. They are good enough for most jobs and when I need lots, they really come through. Do they last? no, but so cheap and lifetime warranty makes up the difference.
I agree with not cheaping out when quality tools are a must but some things I have had good experiences with are the Bauer cut off wheels, Hercules 25ft tape measure, and the Pittsburg Pro 3/8 extendable ratchet. The Bauer cut off wheels are pretty solid and for 10 dollars for a pack of 10 is a pretty good deal. But I often need to cut 5/8 rebar so nothing too crazy. I recently bought a Hercules tape measure to compare it to my daily Fatmax and Im pretty impressed with it. Standout is about 11 feet but on a windy day, it goes down to about 7 feet :( One thing that does feel a bit weird is that it is a bit bulkier than the 25ft Fatmax so it feels a bit bigger but for about half the price, its pretty good. The Pittsburg Pro ratchet feels good and solid. I only use it for maintenance on my cars and sometimes to take my super torqued wheels off. Im surprised it hasn't snapped
I use the warrior wheels for general use and splurge on a Diablo if it’s anything important. Oddly, the only wheel I’ve ever had shatter on me was a Bauer. But I’m really happy with many Bauer tools, so I’ll not judge the whole brand on that. Especially the corded 4.5” mini circular saw. It’s awesome on sheet material.
Don’t feel bad about the “tape measure”. I loose a couple feet of standout on windy days too🤣🤪
The main complaint I hear about HF tape measures is that they tend to more variance between them than most brands (an issue with good brands even), not a problem if you're doing all the measuring but can be an issue if you're using different tapes for measuring and cutting. Just fyi Stanley makes good tape measures for much less than the FatMax as well, Home Depot has their lever lock ones for less than $15 and their basic 25' for less than $10.
@@jmuench420 I always check tape measures before I buy them. I either compare them to a small 6 footer I have on my keychain or compare it to my phone's Ruler feature. Lowe's has good tape measure options also for real good prices
Electric fly swatters work great! Zaps mosquitoes and batteries last forever as long as you don't get the HF cheap ones.
Don't buy the dental picks, the metal isn't hardened and bends quite easily, they were useless. I've had good luck with the breaker bars, and things like wheel stops and body tools. I bought some of the corded tools (grinders, vertical saws, etc.) and they work fine for occasional use.

Most of the drill bits are an odd ball size and you will probably never need them anyway. It’s the drill index you are really after. Replace broken bits with good ones.
I know others have said it but the ratchets (at least the basic pearhead in the standard drive sizes) seem to be fine for standard use. One of my favorite ratchets is actually their standard length 3/8 flex head and use it almost as much as my long handled 3/8 flex head tekton ratchet and I also love the composite skinny straight handle ratchets for working outside in the cold.
I've actually had the best luck with the Pittsburgh swivel head/spinner ratchets. I love the style and they have proven at least as durable as my USA made Craftsmens for whatever that's worth.

I have the foldable hex keys they aren’t very good mine fell apart on me
I've broken many a Pittsburgh ratchet. But the impact sockets are stout. Basically anything that cuts: drill bits, saw blades, tap and die. Are pretty much trash. The tape also sucks.
Harbor Freight tools range from dumpster fill to extremely good buys.!
Never buy there cheapest, other than for one time use.
I’ll have to disagree with you on the hex keys doing HVAC&R use them often the individual ones work well. Pittsburgh Pro wrenches have served me well, including the torque wrenches also.
Same goes for their brand polishing pads. They are not worth it.😅 I bought the Bauer and they are better in my opinion

For the most part you are spot on with your assessments. I have found that HF has a really good price on Sta-bil. I use quite a bit in my motorhome and generator since they tend to sit for longer periods of time.

5:17 you failed to mention the great clamps just to the right in your video. I know dozens of builders who swear by those. I personally have about 20 of various lengths. my last big build was a table and before that was the 600 lbs 4th order box for SoundWave
After my Dad died, getting his table saw out of the basement and into our new abode was impossible, so it was sold & I bought a Chicago Electric 10" benchtop table saw. The first one I got had a bent top. After exchanging it, the fence was a disaster. It clamped at the far end, and used a pressure clamp on the opposite side. This was idiotic.it could be off as much as fifteen degrees. Trying to line the fence up, parallel to the blade took longer than making the cuts. It cut fine, but if precision work needs to be done, get a better brand!
sorry to hear about your Dad. Yea a table saw is one of the most dangerous tools in the shop. I don’t think I’d trust harbor freight with that.
The DeWalt portable table saws are really nice if you’re looking to upgrade

I've seen thier jack stands collapse and they weren't over stressed. I guess it depends on what you're doing with the tools , myself I use mostly vintage USA tools that have stood the test of time and still work great, I guess you get what you pay for.we sold out to China years ago so I guess it doesn't matter much anymore. For the average do it yourselfer I imagine most of their stuff is just fine.
yea they don’t make tools like they used to. seems like its all from china now, even the name brands
@@DadDeals oh yeah, Blackhawk, husky, crescent, Stanley , craftsman, vise grips, Napa tools and the list goes on.
The old design on the jack stands wad recalled about 5+ years ago they had a sensitive release trigger so i made a couple of wood block bases instead of extending them. That said they still exchanged new stands for the old ones
The plastic clamps are actually good for crafting projects

I bought disks for my angle grinder and they lasted longer then the name brands cut a 1/2 inch wall steel 6 inch pipe off 2 times with one disk, ive had great experiences with there thin cutoff disks,
There socket wrenches are great slot mechanics use them

I disagree with the pittsburgh ratchet I have the 1/2 and 3/8 and im a full time mechanic and I haven’t even needed to warranty it since I got it and it’s been a while
