- In November 2022, I bought the Frontier Go Wild Pass as a Christmas gift to myself. Since then, I have been dreaming of solo traveling for the first time. Well, I finally took my first solo trip using my Frontier Go Wild Pass and have absolutely fallen in love with solo travel. If you have been thinking about it even for a second, book your trip as soon as you finish watching this video. International solo travel especially because of the 10 day in advance booking so you can schedule both trips and they take International travel serious so less delays and cancelation.

My husband and I both work in education as well. We tried the Go Wild Pass this summer. After we bought the tickets we joined the FB page that was created by people who use the Go Wild pass. There were more horrible stories of bad experiences then good ones. Since there are so many delays, canceled flights and limited days that flights go out, we were not able to give relatives and exact day and time that we would be there. For this reason we were only able to spend a few hours with my husband's brother's family after he had told us that he could take time off if he was given some advanced notice. In one trip we missed a whole day. Yes, the GWP is cheaper but you loose peace of mind, time, and end up sleeping on the floor in air ports. I might do it again by myself but I would never do this to my husband again.
Take a trip by yourself! I took my 9th trip today and haven’t had any issues yet. I’m sure it’ll happen eventually, but I’m going to enjoy it while I can!

They said you would have to pay taxes and airport fees that's why it's 15 for a direct but 25 to 35 for multiple stops because you pay 2 airport fees. The main hub is Denver, then Orlando, then Dallas. This is the best pass ever I've done the calculation as the 10 necessary flights I took this year would have cost me between 1500 and 2000 but with the pass price plus tickets and bags when I needed it I've only spent 1200 and this is just thru July.

I haven’t calculated price compared to taking my usual Southwest yet, but I am certain I would have never taken 8 flights in 2 months if I were paying Southwest prices.

The thing about Frontier and the bags that’s frustrating is the enforcement is different at each airport. I live in Vegas and you always see people crying when they are told there bag is too large and they have to pay $100 at the gate. I was curious about the go wolf pass and can’t wait to hear how your future experiences. Do you have any plans for slightly longer trips when you can’t book your return trip at the same time?
Agreed. Some airports are VERY generous on what they let slide for a carry on bag. I think if you stay within the guidelines of what the website states, you shouldn’t have any problems.
For sure for taking more trips! You can only book the day before so all of my return flights have been booked while I am already on the trip. I haven’t taken just a one day trip yet, but this is smart if you are worried about not getting a return flight. I just got back from Vegas for 6 days, and I will go to Chicago for 2-5 days this weekend depending on when I can get flights.
I have been trying to get from MCO to vegas and 3 times the flight has been cancel. losen hotel fees ect. For me getting the pass is the worst decision i ever done.
Yikes! I’m going from Vegas to MCO with Frontier today. I haven’t had any issues yet, and I pray today is not the first.
Why were the flights canceled? Was your flight/ticket rescheduled? Third-party hotel reservation discounts websites offer room booking with free cancellation. You can look for that option whenever you travel.

I wouldn’t say the Go Wild Pass is just for solo travel, but it does come with a certain amount of patience and flexibility since flights are booked the day before. I’ve seen plenty of couples use the pass as well.
I think you would just need to be logging in to book at the same time to be sure all parties are able to get a seat. It would be a shame to have one person get a seat because they booked earlier and another person be left out.
Ok that answered most of my questions. Me and my husband want to do weekend getaways soon. My kids are teenagers/young adults now & it’s time for mom & dad to do the traveling we always dreamed of doing.

Don’t buy this pass Frontier has sold so many that you can never actually book a real flight anywhere that people want to go. We have been trying to hook since may and can never find flights that don’t required 3 weeks between flights.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. I am actually boarding to go to Vegas right now and went to Nashville as well. It may have to do with that I am Orlando based though. What airport are you trying to fly out of?
If you are not flying hub to hub you may not find many/any Gone Wild flight. And there are blackout dates as well.
