Italian is the second official language in Istria, Croatia. Marko alias Baby Lasagna is from Umago in Istria and he speaks Italian fluently. You should check out the official music video or his performance at the first eurovision semi final some days ago.

Second official?!? There are no second official languages in Croatia! There is only one world language which is obligate in the primary school. In some high school you choose which will be your second foreing language.

He’s from Umag I believe from Istra in Croatia which is near Italy, part of Croatia which it’s heavily influenced by Italian language due to being so close in some towns they even have dual street names in Italian and Croatian because there’s a mix of Croatian and Italian people who live there :) that’s where the Italian influence comes from such as “ciao” but lasagna bit he said he wanted something fun for his name. Also lasagna is lasagna there’s no other word for it 😅

No il sound è principalmente e palesemente Rammstein, credo lui si ispiri molto all'industrial.

Ma quale rap e dance! Si tratta di industrial metal, sul genere del celebre gruppo tedesco Rammstein, al quale Lasagna ha dichiarato apertamente di essersi ispirato, anche nella scenografia. A mio parere, il pezzo ricorda troppo quelli dei Rammstein; fino al punto che sembra una scopiazzatura. Vai ad ascoltare e e vedere dal vivo i Rammstein su RUclips.

@@ludovicaledgerreacts Io ho parlato di "industrial metal", in uno stile molto simile a quello dei Rammstein. Parlare di "metal" è troppo generico, visto che esistono molte correnti di metal: classic, thrash speed, thrash & speed, death, melodic death, gothic, nu, rap, e via discorrendo. Insomma i Black Sabbath e i Metallica hanno stili diversi.

@@ka01si09ma That Italian influence is still very visible in many aspects..We have all street names in croatian and italian, we learn italian in school, there are italian schools here etc. She was confused about why he said "Ciao mamma,ciao" but it is not unusual if you consider all the things I've mentioned before.
