From 1963-1965, I was a member of the USMC Squadron, VMFA-531. We served on Hot Pad at NAS Key West, FL, and the in 1964 were sent to NAS Atsugi, Japan. In spring of 1965 we were sent to DaNang, South Vietnam to supply air cover for the Marine Infantry. SF!!!
I worked in the Metal Shop and painted many of our aircraft with the Gray Ghost scheme!! I did get a back seat ride in one of our aircraft!!! Nice work !!!
