I cried when you sand down those cockpit details, those deserved to be worked on them. I use Quinta studio decals only when the cockpit is low on details.
Hmmm... you are correct the basic detailing of the cockpit is not bad there is something to work with. BUT meng totally missed out the side wall detail. Also the ejection seats are very basic. That's what made me go for the quinta set and I think it paid off. Check the su-33 build for the best cockpit ever from a kit no extras !

Big thanks really appreciated! They updated the airframe on the F-4e to house an internal cannon. On the G they used the space for antennas !

Bear, what glue do you use to attach parts to the clear plastic canopy ? CA glue will do the smoke thing and make more problems.
