The keybind "G" is the BEST key I ever "accidentally" found! I was just looking for how to switch from regular missiles to nuclear missiles (which I never found, so if you know how, please let me know) and once I found "G" it's like CHEATING!!!! It's AUTO TARGETING the main blasters! I LOVE IT! Especially for asteroid fields!

Checking out the "G" key you speak of, once you research the Nuclear missile option, Hit the "Z" Key and open the menu, the last page is Ship Systems, there should be an option in there to change the default missile type.
"G" key is cool but only works with Plasma turrets. =(
