u havent understood how the damage works in the game. in ur version of a starter ship ur mid section is wide open meaning any dmg will cut through ur 5HP generetors and cut u in half. armor has to be around all components for damage mitigation. ur shields have to be on top of the armor. they only deflect small % then the armor behind it does the rest. not to mention the 40% u loose to heat issues in your builds.

You can flip a blueprint if you edit blueprints to exclude whatever you don't need/want, like the engine section.

Just a heads up mr. Plumyeti you seem to have forgotten the area move function. You could save some wrist strain by area moving the whole block and then zooming back in to then place more precisely .

When you can use local save files it is automatic skip for 99% players. Anyone can just edit save file and put as many resources as he wants. Never play games witch does not have cloud save.

Liked the video, I'm interested in efficient factory units where all of the frames have the productivity increases. Have you though of this? Also very good factorio content, love to see new perspectives from people on youtube!

My last ship design was awful haha (just like small ships for transportation of ressources in between the planets). I currently am in "mid-aquilo" ; I plan to make a big ship like yours pretty soon ; btw I think that using foundries on a ship is great -> 50% productivity bonus 2 times (once for making the melted Iron or even copper, the other time while effectively making the plates or any other stuff). Foundries are also pretty compact and powerful. It's also insanely fast. An Epic foundry's base craft speed is like 7.6 without modules. That's insane, considering again the +50% production bonus hehe.
