Fyi, I was told by a chef that it's best to learn how to cook it myself. He said I didn't want to know what all they did to food before I got it. The additives, to stuff they put on food to make it stay fresh longer.😮. He was being honest. I agree with him to a certain point. Some things I do cook for my family. But if I'm tired, have had a hard day. I don't want to think about cooking dinner. But certain things I avoid. Certain places I avoid. Checkers is one of them. Sure the food is cheap but we have had too many bad experiences. Hamburgers raw and bloody inside.🤢. Several of us got sick ended up in ER. Had have IV fluids, diarrhea, checking around we wasn't the only ones. How they haven't been shut down beats me. I've practically given up on fast food. Before I go back to Burger King again. It's gotten crazy. I mean 70.00 dollars for two whoppers and two orders of fries.😮. That's too much. Bk have lost their D mind. For That much I could bought the food and cooked my own burgers and fries for less. I felt robbed. Now true there's lots of Good pizza places, that have wings, pasta, even some desserts. Calling ahead ordering, they ask when you want it. Certain areas won't deliver why they go by your zip code. They don't carry cash anymore. You add the tip to your order. So 🤷. I'd understand if they had a problem in the neighborhood before. Like I said they don't carry cash, you order by phone, you pay with a credit or debit card. I've learn to cook certain food. I know what's in it. It's nice if you want your food delivered. and you have no problem. A lot of places that closed due to the pandemic, has not reopened. Some that did can't find people who want to work. So I bought another air fryer, another instant pot. So unless I absolutely have to. I'll be cooking my own food. 👍. I always say Grace before I eat.. love, respect and positivity always. Vee.✌️🖖🕯️✨💕👾🌌🙂👋👣.
French fries double fried in oil are the best and so crispy. Just simply heat your deep fryer or oil to 375 degrees and drop them in for a crispy double fry. In fact mashed did a video on this a whole back!
Sometimes I order just the broth since it's just good soup. I've never had a weird look for ordering pho to go. I almost prefer it since I can use all the lime I want at home
Number one. Eggs, you can literally cook up any type of egg dish that isn’t have to be baked in the oven in under five minutes. Number two. Sushi, I order DoorDash from the best sushi place in Southeast Portland and it gets to my place usually in under 30 minutes and it is fantastic. I would say take most of these with a grain of salt. It depends on if you really know the place is ordering from.
kinda funny you end the sushi one w/ the boat...cause you could argue that isn't all that good either for it. In some establishments you don't know how long it's been out there...or even worse sushi buffets. Completely agree w/ eggs, even if I'm picking up...once I get home, my fave style, sunny side up is either ruined or not as yummy. Ouellettes or scrambled are a little better though with transportation. PIZZA IS THE GOAT takeout food, then burgers.
Frozen tater tots, bake faster than delivery and keep the crunch. Hot dogs cook in a minute in the microwave. I keep the fridge and freezer and canned goods well stocked -- death to delivery!
@americafirst9144 I'm guessing tracking down all the ingredients, and doing so at their optimal freshness, would be a challenge --- especially in an area that's lacking of Thai food.
@@RCas-wt7cj Not too bad. Amazon is good for dried lime leaves and lemongrass paste. You can find red curry paste practically anywhere. I always travel an hour to the larger grocery store every week or so. They have fresh lemongrass, mangoes and a variety of peppers. Coconut milk is pretty easy to come by. I grew lemongrass once. It has lots of health properties and is delicious brewed as a tea. It can be invasive if planted in an open area though.
DoorDash won't deliver hot fries to me even though I'm only 5 minutes from Burger King. My fries arrive cold and shriveled about 80 to 90 percent of the time. And they refuse to give me a Large; they only allow me a small even when I pay for the large.
uh no sushi is fine to order takeout. if your grubhub driver takes more than 2 HOURS to deliver it, then that is their problem & get a refund. sushi is SUPPOSED to be served at room temp, so a few mins on the counter is not an issue.
Not to mince words too finely, but your argument seems more against deliver items, not items you may pick up yourself from a restaurant to eat at home.

After the last few years, my go to burger is home made on my backyard grill.
Hah!!! My BBQ burgers are the same as yours. Same with making my English muffin pizzas. Great comment.

Never had Pho delivered where the noodles and broth were not separate.
Edit: who is ordering ice cream to go? Tf

Thai food is #1 because the flavors coalesce and only gets better.
No Thai food delivery here.😐 Had to learn to cook it.

Not all sushi is raw so cooked sushi options may be safer for delivery compared to raw sushi.
bruh this is like every food youd ever takeout

I love gas station Sushi.

You guys are just being "elitists". Everybody knows that gas station sushi is the best.🐟
MSG. Ask before ordering Mexican, Asian, or chicken. Mind boggling when you Google fast food places or restaurants. Research.
Cream cheese in sushi? I don't know why they invented that
It's in most rolls.
@@lant7123 why?!
Rhetorical question.
