This is so common sense, yet so few figure it out. A clean base makes all the difference, and being a fellow dry skin girl - especially in a Canadian winter - takes a bit more work. Too many people layer on the perfume in place of a good hygiene routine, and that never, ever works.

You and I are on the same page!! My skin gets super dry as soon as the temp drops!!! I use the L’Occitane shower oil and I use body butters and oil gels!! They make a huge difference in the look and feel of my skin. Fenty butters are amazing..and naturally my fragrance lasts so much longer!!
These are great tips Karina. Would you please do a top 10 for those just getting into perfumes and/or starting a beginners perfume collection? There are soooo many options that it’s so overwhelming. And also a layering video…how do you choose what to layer with what?
I really enjoyed this video, I would like a video on how to spray for different occasions… Everyday vs Brunch vs Date night vs work/church. I am new to the fragrance community, I’m still learning the difference between day scents/night scents/winter scents/spring and summer. I just wear what I think smells good but I never stop and think is Donna Born in Roma inappropriate for running errands 😖😂lol.
Your in Canada... fantastic. I'm from Winnipeg and i need to know what everyone else does in this dry weather. I moisturize best i can, and i am pretty sure my fragrance doesnt last. I find i only fet compliments if its on my wubter jacket
I spray on my wrists, back of the neck ,under my ears mist my hair! If I over my neck I can sometimes break out so I spray where my bra straps would be ( on my shoulders) on clothing!!!
Karina i dont know how you do it but i can bathe my self in body oil, lotion and perfume which ever it may be and i get no compliments what so ever, Maybe its because im old and ugly.
Well smelling good starts with a good shower routine. So all the steps in the shower are an important factor to cleansing your body, making sure it’s well hydrated. The perfume goes over a clean skin

Really helpful video Karina. My cheap and cheerful exfoliation tips are dry brushing or using a kessa glove. They leave your skin super smooth.
