Hi Cardi 👋🏽 Sometimes I think when a fragrance becomes too popular, people start to talk bad about it even though it's a great fragrance.
@@beingarlenegloriously6831same with black opium. Yes everyone has it and so you won't smell unique but its still a great scent for most. But its trashy now because everyone has it, it loses that inclusivity that so many people crave.

I usually always end up preferring the flankers, apart from Paradoxe. The original Paradoxe quickly became my signature scent! It’s absolutely gorgeous and perfect for any occasion 💗

Love this! I don't really hear many people say this, but Valentino Donna BIR Intense has a distinct coconut note to my nose and that's actually why I prefer it over the original (which smells purely floral to me and not like vanilla at all). I do like both though! Flankers are fun. 😆

@ caitydee Exactly!!! I feel the same i wore the intense version to a dinner last summer in the evening i paired it with a coconut lotion and i just kept getting compliments left and right

Everyone! She realizes she pulled the Burberry her intense by accident instead of the original one. She meant to put the original one in the video. The original and intense look so similar I can see how that mistake can be made. My favorite good girl is supreme because of the dark sweet berry notes in it. Im not a berry girl but when its deep and sexy i will end up loving it! My favorite flankers are ysl black opium le parfume, ysl libre le parfume, jean paul gaultier le belle la parfume, lancome la vie est belle soliel crystal, giorgio armani si intense, chanel coco mademoiselle intense and valentino donna born in roma pink pp, donna born in roma intense and the original donna born in roma. All these are top tier designer scents. I really enjoy the intense or le parfume versions so i usually wait until the stronger version comes out.
My intention was to talk about Burberry her intense but I think I ended up just not saying the intense part😂

if possible , perhaps make this a series on your channel, where you compare other flankfers to the original or compare flankers to flankers .
So for me personally, I love Libre Intense and Le Parfum! I have the EDT as well and she’s a compliment getter. I love the bottles, probably the best out of all the designer bottles that I have. The gold hardware (YSL logo) on the bottle is so simplistic yet stunning to me. When it comes to DBIR I agree with you that my two favorites are the intense and Yellow Dream. Although UOMO Yellow Dream for men performs better on me. I picked that one up by accident and for months I thought it was the one for women. 😂 I gave it to my husband and he used the entire bottle. It smells even more amazing on him. When I did get my hands on the DBIR yellow dream for women, it was beautiful but didn’t last on me so I decluttered it. Sometimes I regret that decision. lol Mugler Angel Nova is the only one I like out of the Angels and I love that it can sit up. I can’t see myself with a bottle that lays down because it takes up space and doesn’t go with the aesthetic of my display. And as for Good Girl, I have four of them. I absolutely love the OG and Very Good Girl❤

They discontinued giorgio armani si intense and I am super bitter about it. I just bought a backup bottle 💔

@@laurenskubish400 I've never tried any intense version.. But the fiori I loved, so mad at GA.. I don't know why they don't consider public opinion before discontinuing fragrances.. Also, we dint a new intense (2023) they are so annoying.
Original La belle beats the intense by farrrrrrrr. Libre intense smells like a wannabe while the original Smells like that girl, it smells very niche IMO and is one of my most complimented fragrances of an all time (just bought the 150ml bottle). The le parfum of the Libre smells like hairspray. Si intense is amazing and wears better than the original IMO but I’ve abandoned them for a bit and only think about the original when I’m looking for a fragrance to wear to the gym. The OG Lancôme La nuit is the only one that should exist. Mon guerlain OG is more grown up than the intense and I see more people leaning towards the intense than the original but personally, I wear the original more especially on Sundays (don’t ask me why cause I don’t know 😂)
@@lexxelestine I like how you've compared these scents so amazing.. I wish I was able to test fragrances honestly but for now I depend only on reviews.. I'm scared of the strong lavender in Libre OG so IL go with the intense.. 😢.. LA belle OG doesn't last on me so when I finish the bottle IL try the intense.. Have you tried Donna born in Roma? Which one do you prefer?
My fav original + flanker line is YSL Libre. For me the original and the edt are so different that i love them both equally. I recently aquired Le Parfum for my birthday last weekend, and as of right now I'm quite disappointed. She's giving original Libre, which is confusing since so many haters of the original fall over themselves Le Parfum. I get none of the spiciness or warmth or sweet that's got Libre naysayers drooling. I'm going to let her mature for a couple of weeks and come back to her. I hope it changes but right now she seems redundant.
Edit: I also am looking to get Platine Absolu. The aldehyde version has got me seriously peaked. If she's airy and clean, definitely summer signature for sure!
I love this video, Karina! 💖I absolutely agree about Good Girl. Such a beautiful fragrance. Funny though, when I first smelled it, I thought it was too strong and there was too much going on. Now, I love it so much! It became one of my favorite fragrances. I got the Good Girl Légère as a birthday gift last year and I also adore it. You are so right, it is like a daytime version of the original, but I also wear the original during daytime quite often. 😊
Haha, I totally get what you mean! Sometimes perfumes can be like love at first sniff, and other times they need a little time to grow on us. Good Girl definitely knows how to win hearts!

I like the donna born in roma coral fantasy
I like the original better and the intense version andddd the pink pp version the best! Coral fantasy was too fresh for me. I like sweeter deeper scents.

Good girl is definitely a beautiful beast it last all day. I have a limited edition flanker where the bottle is all pink glitter. I can’t find a back up bottle anywhere😩 it really hurts my ♥️. So I think I’ll be getting the original version next. Because it’s the closest in scent to the pink glam that I have. I know they have the half pink glitter heel but it’s nothing like the one I have. Also I went to Macy’s 2 days ago and sprayed blush for the third time… I hate it. It’s kinda sour on my skin and I can’t take it. But it’s a beast as well. I couldn’t get away from it even after washing my hands 3 times and taking a shower that night. She was still there, which would’ve been great if I liked it🤷🏽♀️. But great video can’t wait for the next one 🥰

I love The IG Ptada Paradix followed by the Intense! But I still also love Armani Si as well as Si Intense. Armani Si can go to any occasion, anytime....just like Prada Paradox! Thanks for the descriptive comparisons. I agree on them all!!

I have tried the YSL Platine and it starts out soapy and I don't love it, but the dry down is a lavender baby powder smell that I couldn't stop revisiting on my arm. Got me thinking I might want to buy.

I love the carolina herrera fragrances and since is usually warm year round I get alot use of carolina herrera fragrance.
Valentino Born in Roma Intense is what started my need for a collection 😩 i need more sultry fragrances

The chocolate note in Afnan Modest Deux reminds me of Angel.
Favorite fragrance flanker was Valentino aqua which was an amazing almond scent that was discontinued 😢 now its Burberry her elixir

Good video idea. :) Love GG Légère, but I think they're discontinueing it unfortunately. Burberry Her Elixir is also not that readily available in stores where I live, I hope they'll keep it around a little longer, it's beautiful.

I love CH house! And I love Good girl! I finished a small bottle and purchased a big size (I never repurchased a fragrance). Good girl is Very sexy/sensual scent. The blush so light and airy perfect for Summer. Legere also great for any season. Part2?

I know I’m opposite to your opinion but I actually think Prada Paradoxe is generic and even took some elements of Valentino Donna BIR especially the airiness mixed with My Way 😅. BIR didn’t smell like any of the other fruit florals when it came out 2019, not like Mon Paris, Flowerbomb, etc. I think it’s because I get more of the deep woody vanilla in the dry down like a few hours in that makes the difference for me. Also I got the jasmine tea from the beginning, black currant and pink pepper which wasn’t really used together in designer perfumes. It was more raspberry, pear, and strawberry, jasmine, patchouli being used.

I knew two old coworkers who wore it, and.. Yeah they were not the best human beings unfortunately.
I used to love it but I had to resell my bottle because it reminded me of those awful people.

On a side note that dawned on me right now: what really separates Karina from these other “perfume influencers” that just started to love perfume apparently is that I don’t think that I ever seen a video of hers were she was recommending cheap/ Arab cheap fragrances (like Lattafah’s 😷) cause sometimes I think these videos were bought and payed for cause there’s no way that these perfumes smell good!! And I actually tested some of them and they smell just tasteless..I don’t think that ppl who really love and appreciate perfumery would like such cheap migraine triggering scents! So my respect for you Karina sky rocketed cause you really know what you’re talking about 💞 cause a good perfume is an investment and always will be
Thank you for your words and I truly appreciate the compliment. With that same breath, I will say, that I never want to speak negatively about another creator/influencer's taste in fragrances. To many these fragrances really do smell amazing and are budget-friendly so I totally get the appeal and popularity. Personally not many are to my liking but I get that fragrances are so personal and I try to stay true to what I truly enjoy.
Honestly I think there's a reason a lot of the Middle Eastern perfumes are blowing up. It's because some of them really are just good. Remember the manufacturing costs of most fragrances is actually very low. It's the marketing, packaging and prestige that make up most of the price. So it's not too far fetched that other companies can make good quality perfumes at a lower price.
I have personally tried a number of them, and some of them truly are very good. Armaf Imperiale and Armaf Untold are great. Lattafa Nebras while not my taste, really does smell extremely similar to Billie Eilish 2. I'm definitely not paid by anyone lol
@@oliver_liew loool I don’t mean no disrespect by my statement whatsoever, what I was trying to say is that I got doped lol I tried the Ana Abiyedh by Lattafa (they say it’s a dupe for Erba Pura by Xerjoff) and it just smelled like Body odor to me 😷 because of that musk and synthetic notes that just triggered my migraine.. so yes I do believe in good quality products/ perfumes and the price of them is usually rightful because of the natural oils and what not
