Most of the high vpress gymnastics progressions was designed myself in order to maintain current form and teach future generation of bodyweight/gymnastics/calisthenics athletes.
Of course manna is pretty advanced skill so regular vpress is preferable to have prior to the training to ensure safe exercises performance.

Friend, hello. Please help me. I have been trying to raise my legs to a high angle for many years, although my crease is good, but I could not lift it. Tell me, what exercises need to be done to raise your legs to a high angle (vertical angle)?
I'm guessing triceps take some serious load in this mechanically advanced endeavour?
It is but pretty much work as a stabiliser
Can i use a overhead grip on this exercise
I got a hyper mobility in elbow, and I don't get used to hand position backward instead of forward but I can hold decent v sir for 12-15s not quite close but still decent one and I can hold l sit for 50s++. However, I'm really concerned if I'd be breaking up my elbow because of hyper mobility, any advice? I'd be appreciated it🙏🏻
The question I forgot to ask; does middle split requirement for training manna?
The palm positioned backwards allows more support(prevent falling on the back) and easier trunk curling.
There is significant feeling of putting more pressure to triceps while getting less pressure to abdominals (low abs still work pretty hard) as you simply change the palm hand direction.
I’ve had students with hyper elbow extension and as long as you don’t have any pain within your elbow you good to go to practice it.
Although pull ups and biceps training is good for you it won’t solve the hyper mobility within your elbow. It’s just the way your joints that special.

Middle split is not a requirement for manna at all. However hamstrings flexibility and straddle legs position within manna makes it more doable.

By turning palm hands backwards it’s easier to stretch biceps and front deltoids plus it will be an additional support (so you don’t fall backwards)
It’s also easier to curl the trunk this way
