I've seen this and the "go for a walk" spot on Los Angeles station KHJ-TV (now KCAL).
@Louiseaus At first I did not notice the absence of the dog when they got back into the car. However, after I have watched it again, I can see that you are absolutely right! I wonder what the significance of this reality is.
