Senator Whitehouse may make an outstanding president. Problem : he may not be able to acquire sufficient or adequate donor funding to run a successful campaign needed to win. In fact, just the opposite. He may find himself in a position whereby he ends up criticizing his donor funding sources for influence peddling. End result : the United States is forever confined to only have the best government that money can buy.
Once again the "demand" that people like Whitehouse should run POTUS. Comes up constantly with Katie Porter too.
Porter should become a leader in the House which is obviously needed. If/when Feinsteins leaves she could be appointed to the Senate.

If you have never lived or visited Rhode Island, the state deals with this crap all the time which is why he is an expert in it. In RI, its not what you know but rather who you know. The state has so much external political and financial interests which constantly try and manipulate things to change them so that other people make money no matter the cost to the people and/or the environment. Filthy rich non-residents who own waterfront property are constantly trying to keep residents and visitors alike from enjoying the beauty of the state and the natural wonders it has to offer.

Whitehouse for president! He is charismatic and articulate enough to give the Democrats a way forward in 2024.
The irony in this tale of Democracy is that the one person who loudly proclaimed "I alone can fix it [all]," has no clue that he did nothing of the sort, AND that he was never told of the Scheme because (a) he cannot keep a secret, (b) he could not possibly comprehend it, and (c) he would still be convinced that...yes, you guessed it, he alone HAD fixed it.
Another masterful presentation by Senator Whitehouse, who, unlike the other man just mentioned, knows, almost to a certainty, that not one of us, nor even all of us, could fix "it".
