- Senator Hawley left a witness speechless during a line of questioning, during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing to "examine safeguarding inspector general independence and integrity."
Perjury was a crime, when this was America.

My volume controls are both at max., so there's nothing I can do to improve the audio part of this video. That means that I can't have adequate understanding about what this Q&A is fully about, which means that I can't really pass judgment about it. I couldn't make out much about what she said and also the elderly man who spoke in this in response to Senator Hawley, who I could better hear. It seemed to sound like some sort of run-around, but the audio is low with the other two people, so I'm not sure enough to be able to judge this. It does cause curiosity though.

@@shannonm.4087 i think they parrot back verbatim the question asked in an effort to buy time to come up with a lie but it’s easy to determine who is lying and not good at it when they already forgot exactly how the question was worded and cut short with the reply using phrases such as “I did not utilize government resources such as uh,um, in the manner suggested” Regardless, I have serious doubts that we can ever get back to some semblance of decency with the state we are in now. It is just so corrupt, so far gone and I believe the majority of the government has committed so many more crimes against the people and the country that they will never be reported on, it already seems they know if Americans ever got knowledge of the true depravity of their actions there would be no way to live with that, so they are aggressively trying to wipe out as many Americans they can, and plan a last ditch effort recruiting all the illegals to come here, with lucrative payouts to the worst of criminals regardless what crime they committed against the people. Possibly they rationalize the worst criminals wouldn’t judge them since they are of the same ilk. This is my opinion, maybe I am wrongly assuming the involved actors would feel any shame at all in having been caught but it will never be revealed to the people because they couldn’t control others once their own lies and failings and disgust toward everyone else were made known. She used government resources to do so, but as she viewed it as "not undermining", though it was, she shouldn't be held accountable. Most people are nervous when they are being accused of illegal situation. I have not seen Hawley answer any questions about his illegal situations. Sometimes the downward spiral is slowed by better leadership, but no one has been able to halt it. Interestingly, the social disruption of the covid scare seems to have caused more people to see the peoblems at all levels.

Its amazing....that these individuals are so busted....and yet they continue to talk in circles.....like they did nothing wrong!!

So all these hearings and interviews mean nothing! Clearly she is guilty beyond any reasonable doubt. Yet, no justice just a waste of time. Why bother?
Just want to appear to be doing something.
Because people have to be shown what is truly occurring.
Rather than, idk, govern. Legislate. Help the people that elected you that are suffering.

My first question on this is why does she get to define what “the right direction” is? Is it the right direction for her? The right direction for her department? The right direction for her preferred political party? So many possibilities and these are just a few of them. It’s entirely possible that the real answer includes more than one of these scenarios. The investigation doesn’t leave much room for alternative outcomes from what took place. It sounds like they had a lot of reliable sources and came to a singular conclusion.

I like this guy. He's intelligent and focused without worry about social input.

No kidding! Given his desire to upstage Benedict Arnold if Hawley actually worried about social input and truth he would have to be restrained and hauled away babbling with a mouth full of foam. Lucky for him, though, his total lack of conscience has his six safely covered.
