I am curious, I have seen another video where people set up their tent inside the shelter/hut. Is that common practice?

Yes, but only the inner tent. They make good mosquito nets, and there are a lot of those. Any flying stinging thing for that matter.

Yes I agree with that. I had the same on the AAWT. But nearly noone walking it. This looks like more people walk this track.
