Erm you’ve been learning wrong bro. Powers built from the back not the front. You want to do pulling exercises and when you launch forward with your right you lean slightly back with your left this sends the snap into your right for more power works for hooks and uppercuts… that’s the new science anyways
Good tips but I'd caution against jumping straight into dumbell power snatches without guidance if you've never done one before. Like a lot of Crossfit moves there's a lot that can go wrong, especially transitioning from the "snatch" to the "catch". It should also be said that glute and hip training are a must, power comes from the floor up and a great deal of that power transitions from the legs through the pivot of the hips
None of this will increase your punching power. Increasing punching power comes from improving your boxing technique from the ground up. This video has nothing to do with boxing.
Depends on the weight of the bag and the ounce of the gloves, heavy bag above 60kg at minimum (maybe 50) with 14-16 ounce gloves will give you a fair bit of power training.
@@Seriouslysankey no "bro", it's not. I seriously dislike ppl like you who just say things without any actual knowledge whatsoever smh. There are literally 80lb bags that ppl use every day in their homes. 110lbs "genius". Not to mention, the size of the bag should be relative to the size of the puncher....PERIOD. There is no one size for all. ALSO, you literally should NOT use 14-16 oz gloves on a heavy bag.....those are for SPARRING!! Bag gloves should be used on the bag......i.e. gloves with limited padding so that you can actually feel where your punches are landing, thereby improving your technique and punch placement. No matter what lie you tell, you can NOT gauge any of that with big puffy sparring gloves which is why MANY ppl end up breaking their hands in fights because theyve been training with the puffy pillows and then think whatever they did with them on they can do with them off 🤦🏿♂️😂🤣😭😭😭😭. And dont you dare act like you're aware of all that lol.......the more you know 😉🤫😏
these are exactly what my boxing coach taught me. this guy is no fake. these workouts are the most effective punching power workout
but there was only one leg exercise bro ? and no rotation exercise

@@TeddyCWTso just work back?
@@TeddyCWTyou think you been learning wrong too every boxing coach says that power comes from rotation and legs also powerful shoulders
@@DecostaEdwardsall these exercises are meant to make your upper body more explosive which is a very big part of punch power

It’s more in the legs than the arms you should be doing lower body and core exercises
How many reps and sets?
Normally 10
