Lately I've been trying very very hard to clean as I go and just do a deep clean everytime so that it doesn't build up. It helps me to have the mindset "if I do it now I won't have to do this certain thing later or it won't be very much at all later" and just keeping it maintained. It helps some but I'm OCD so most things if I don't do them everyday I'll feel like it's not clean even though it is
I think the kids rooms, it would be a treat for them with baby coming. House is beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤

I would love to see you do your master Bedroom! You work very hard and I think doing your bedroom will be like a treat for you. You need a sanctuary for yourself! Especially before your new baby comes! 😀❤❤
We use the Tenco and love it too. I think maybe the home school room would be a good idea to do first. You use that room daily.
Hi hun with your steamer put a cloth on it first then put the main cloth on to hold it in place game changer and your find it will absorb the extra water up hope this helps xx
I vote kids rooms first. I’m so excited to see their own rooms put together.
You could do a “reading rug” maybe. A small colorful rug off to the side or in a corner with a bookshelf and bean bags maybe. Could be a cozy little area just for reading or story time. The new house looks amazing! So happy for you guys!

I think the master bedroom!! Get that done first then do the kids rooms. That way it’s done before bubs come. Then the rest you can do slowly while dealing with 4 kids!

I think you should start with the places you’re in the most - which sounds like it’s the kitchen area and homeschool room. Bedrooms would be nice but how do you choose who’s is first? Maybe makeover the areas everyone benefits from first
You cannot beat an old fashioned mop and bucket when cleaning floors 😊

This actually does an amazing job! When I wipe the floors with a wipe after using the Tineco, they’re just as clean as with a regular mop and bucket. However - if my floors need to be scrubbed or deep cleaned for any reason, a regular mop and bucket is the way to go!

I use a little bleach on quartz worktops to remove stains. And rinise it well. Works a treat! Still looks new 2 years later x

I love your new home Becky! You must be thrilled with all the extra space! Flat paint is def what they use for new builds…while it’s durable, it is impossible to clean. I say your master bedroom…you will need a cozy space at night when baby arrives 😊
master bedroom makeover first because with the new baby you will have to be convenient and relax but also kids bedrooms would be nice
I think you should do your office first. I find that it's so easy to make spaces nice for the kids or main spaces and that the spaces we call our own get put aside. If you do the office first, it's progress for the house and some self-love! And it'll give you some good motivation foe the next spaces. You deserve it!

I love Tenico. I have an older (cheaper) model that I use exclusively for pet messes (EW!) and my new "fancy" model is for general cleaning. They seriously are the best on the market!
As much as I can’t wait to see every room get finished I think the master bedroom should be first. I nice place for you to relax especially with the baby coming soon.

I had the cheaper model of Tineco mop/vac and it has piece broke of to wear the water tank can not clip back in. I bought the upgraded one and I’ll have to say that the old one works just as good. I’m agreeing with you. 💕🤗 thanks Becky. Great motivation as always!

I would do the nursery for the baby and then the Master, you’ll spend time there with the baby and need a calm space. ❤️
This baby won’t have a nursery, I’ve had one with each little one and feel it’s always a wasted space. This baby will be in the master for the first year or so, then share a room with Hazel 💕

LOL at the flat paint in new builds - No, you will NEVER get stuff off your walls, and if you try, it marks where you wipe - we built two years ago, and I have teens, who are as hard on things as toddlers!!!!!! - it needs to be 100% repainted!!!!!! We asked the builder if we could paid extra to get an eggshell paint, but they refused.

I would vote on your master bedroom first. You are about to have a baby and spend A LOT of time in there healing and nursing and all the things. You need a calm, put together space you can enjoy and find retreat in.

Yes, matte paint is the worst with little ones running around! 🙈 Right next to my kids’ table, there are tons of little greasy hand prints but I think it’s cute 🤷🏼♀️😂❤️
Hi Becky, I understand how overwhelming everything is for you right now. There is so much going on at the same time. I don't know how you do it? You asked a question, and here is the answer. Think about the room you and your children use the most. Get that done first. Then, go on to the second most used room. Continue to the third and so on. As you do room by room, you will feel more accomplishments done, and things will get easier. I hope this helps.

Yea I've noticed that with that type of paint too. I'd rather be able to clean the walls if needed instead of not being able too
I really wanted a rug too but I have the same problem so I got an alphabet puzzle mat from Walmart and used that instead. It is super colorful and bright but it’s way less expensive and I’m not worried about it getting dirty

Good morning! I am SO excited to do the kids rooms!! Unfortunately, the tendon repair failed and the damage is permanent. I will be wearing something on my finger for the foreseeable future, possibly forever. I’m just accepting it for what it is and moving forward. 🤷🏼♀️
