I’m guessing the June Direct will be it’s own thing, but we’ll get a teaser trailer for Switch 2 at Summer Game Fest. Since we’re supposed to be getting confirmation of some cross-gen/next gen, we could have the Partner Direct in July, Indie World in August, and the September Direct is the blowout reveal of the console. Then, like with Switch, the full marketing campaign starts and preorders open in January. And the system launches in March.
I told everyone Nintendo knew what they were doing and everything was fine. In April, when people were saying there was no Nintendo games, I was playing great Indie games. When I saw how good the Indie games were, I knew Nintendo would be okay.

And Zach, you sound like Nintendo is suddenly going to drop all support for the current switch once it’s success as launched that’s not gonna be the case yes it’s going to wind down eventually but Nintendo will still support it for a few more years yet.
Per their announcement, Nintendo said they're making an announcement this FY, that's it. Based on the way they worded their statement, I wouldn't rule out a mid/late 2025 launch.
That means the LATEST Nintendo will reveal the system is in March 2025. I think there are only a few months from reveal to launch (i would say 6 max) However think about Switch 1, it was revealed in detail (trailer) October 20 2016, and then released on March 3 2017. Nintendo could follow that again reveal on say October 22, 2024 and then Launch late March 2025 or within spring. Or I suppose they may wait to reveal it in January 2025 to avoid possible switch (1) holiday sales decline, but even so they could still release it in spring, Seems to me they shouldn't need long to market this thing if its a Switch successor with backwards compatibility. Especially with this semi-announcement this early, people will have a TON of time to hear about it in the news/media
