That's amazing. I'll have to go back through your channel to see if you already did a video on how to get started in this discipline (where to get tools, etc). It's a skill I definitely want to learn.
I know he has a few videos that I believe he explains how he does these, from the printing the decals (I know there’s a better word for it), to the tools he uses, to the final product. I might be mixing some of this with another RUclipsr that does this kind of carving, he’s, hmm, an avant-garde type of artist/machinist, his name is Uri Tuchman if you want to check out another artist. He’s good for a laugh if you’re in to that.

What do you say to that? Just on another level.
But isn't all the beautiful work in danger of denting or scratching? isn't that a tool after all?
When Chris mounts it to the watchmaker's lathe he has the design on the back. But even if he had it to the front it wouldn't be in too much danger as it's a Watchmaker's Faceplate and it has three raised jaws that mount in the three slots with the flat areas around them and holds the work piece (watch plate or some such) above the Faceplate, so 90% of it never sees contact. Hi bro... Kiwi here... I am a model maker and I was wondering if it is possible to make a very fine 0.15mm wide engraving tool but with straight sides 0.3mm deep... There are very fine engraving chisels available but I find it difficult to keep a constant depth with them in plastic, hence me wanting the cutting edge to be a set length with the overhang acting as a depth guide
