Intro Music-- BURDENED By PORTALS
All the media in the beginning in the intro, she invited them to her concert put them front row and then played that for them . She’s so savage.
I've always loved that story so much and it makes me so happy whenever anyone puts it in the comment section!🖤
OMG SLAYYYYYY. I LOVE HERRRRRR
My beautiful petty queen! I came to say the same.
@@gdhaney136 Yes! Another snake in the comments! Slay!🖤
she told the media what she thought of them on 1989 (Blank Space, and Shake It Off); this time, she rubbed their noses in it 🥰🥰
It's honestly so refreshing to see a metalhead being supportive of a woman doing the kind of music he's not usually into
Agreed 100%! Thanks for putting a woman up in the canon of great artists!
I second that, old woman metal head who has huge amounts of respect for Taylor. Her and Miley Cyrus absolutely rock!
I’ve never met a metal head that wasn’t supportive of other artists and genres of music.
@@keirstenduren7188 might be a cultural difference. In my country (unfortunately) metalheads and rockers are very stubborn and will judge every other genre, especially my parents generation. Im a rocker and im one of the very few here who support music in general and not just rock
@@PetitePaganagreed, even if you don’t like them, they don’t give a fuck and they’re low key raging and I respect that
“stop making the drama. just let her be.”
…”i like those shoes”
LOL instant sub!!! i appreciate men like you for not playing into the culture of negatively nitpicking women/trying to decide if they’re “likable” like the media still weirdly does. thanks for treating women artists as the equal that they are!
We don't do that toxic masculinity mess around here 💕
👏👏👏That was when I subscribed too ❤
Same from me. Instant follow after that haha!
🙋🏻♀️ me,too! As a 53 year old Swiftie granny from Alabama, I appreciate ALL of this!! ❤
Apparently TS gave out $55 MILLION in BONUSES to the truck drivers, lighting, dancers, musicians etc... TS made sure bonuses got to ALL HER PEOPLE B4 CHRISTMAS... TS wrote Thank you notes to everyone INDIVIDUALLY.... She put her mama in charge to make sure it got done right... She's done it right & i respect the h3ll outta this WOMAN...
It was 100k bonus to each.. so however many staff she has! It’s a lot ..but it wasn’t 55 million.. more like 5 million .. which Is still crazy
Even forbes talked about the 55 millions. Do your research! @@SmcdMcd-d2k
@@SmcdMcd-d2k 55 million was correct.

hiphop/metalhead here as well and since 3 years proud Swiftie man. Can't explain it, but she and her music saved my life 3 years ago during a still ongoing depression. what a journey and if you think about it, this little gir and her journey, what she went through and how she conquered it all. I have the biggest respect here. and i will go see her live on July 9th, absolutely fallen in love with her and her music.
Sending much love and many comfy pillows. She saved me many times too, I deal with depression and cptsd. I appreciate you sharing a sharing a small bit of your journey. Please know you're not alone, and I'm standing with you. We will make it out of this alive. Kia Kaha (Maori for Stay strong),

@@AwkwardSquirrel13 love you same to you thanks.
Miss Swift runs on a treadmill and sings through her playlist as she is doing so for breath control. There are other forms of training as well, choreography, costumes, etc.
She's a real performer, not just a singer.
That's BRILLIANT. I have tried "singing" (making garbage disposal noises) while being active and ain't no fkn way 🤣
To be able to move like that and sing like that is insane talent
@@DeathMetalDadReacts Dude, I am a 70 yr old hippie. Everything I have is held together with duct tape and spandex. Nothing works the way it did.... LOL. Getting older isn't for sissys.
She hires her own people and they are all the top of their field. You need to watch the Eras Tour. She still performs this song. It hits even harder! That was just one album. The Eras tour encapsulates all of her albums over almost 4 hours nonstop! Her goal was to be so rehearsed, she could be comfortable performing choreography while singing and not get flustered anywhere no matter what happens (and stuff has happened) Her costumes by the top designers of couture cost millions and millions (she has different colors between the shows so no two shows are the same plus all the shoes are by Louboutin (red soles are his trademark). I’ll bet she has over a million just in custom boots. I cannot fathom how heavy those bedazzled boot are that she runs in like a marathon. Everything she does is top notch with the best making sure this tour goes off without a hitch. She travels with a doctor and PT and massage therapy. Does 3-4 shows, then rests for the next series at the next town. They need to do a documentary about how she pulled this tour together and how it moves between town to town. She pays her people top dollar and her truckers had nothing but high praise for Ms Swift as she tipped them all $100k over their salary for all of their excellent work. She’s got to have several sets so there’s more time to break it down and move and set it up. After she finishes a town, she spends the next day in bed recovering. In the middle of the tour during breaks, they rehearsed for a tour change when she added in a new album not even announced until the Grammys’s. It was classified beyond top secret, but everyone was rehearsing a tour change to begin in Paris last Thursday. It’s absolutely brilliant! BTW, I’m older than you! 😜. The Swifties will pull you in. The Reputation album (Taylor’s version) has not yet been released. It will be expanded and she’s been working with Kendrick Lamar for some old and probably new things from the vault. All us Swifties are waiting anxiously for this album to drop and she’s made no new hints or announcements.
I am really really hoping they are making a documentary covering the eras tour. I’d also love
One about the re-recording process!
I have everything crossed for the doco of the eras tour, it would be so fascinating!
Didn’t know about the doc, PT and massage team she travels with, but it makes absolute sense. Also, I’m loving TTPD, but cannnnnnot wait for REPTV!! 🥰🥰
wait she's working with kendrick on rep tv???
@@ritika9958 that seems to be a rumor as I think he’s been to her studio, but I’m not sure where I saw that as it’s been a bit.

The US govt is suing Ticketmaster for adding on extraneous fees for Taylor's concerts. By her direction. That's how much pull she has
I saw a lot of people traveled to my country (Sweden) because it was cheaper to spend a few days here + concert than finding tickets in the US. I know that Live Nation/Ticketmaster is facing scrutiny but for here they sure made it right. We don't have scalpers
But yet she won’t make the decision to cap resale prices like so many other artists are doing and have done.
@@AnnaNicoleVinopal how tf is Taylor gonna cap scalper prices?
@@erikwick Ticketmaster allows rules to be put in place for reselling tickets they sell, but the artist has to be the one to make that decision.
Dublin was completely overwhelmed by Americans, there were so many of Americans I started to feel bad, like did all the Irish get to see her that wanted to?
Someone once had said they could not possibly enjoy Taylor's music bc they are a metalhead and I referred to you and other metalheads I have see who have all found something about her music to like. People who limit themselves bc of genre really do themselves a disservice, I believe.
People cannot claim to love
Music if they only listen to 1% of what’s out there! I find this so frustrating! I love watching reactions from real music lovers because they ALWAYS find something to admire about Taylor and her music. All it takes is an open mind and functioning ears!
I went to this tour. Every seat was full. Everything went hard. And it was insane 🎉
I've never been angrier at myself for being late to the game 😡
It was so much fun! I was blown away.
@@DeathMetalDadReactsall in good time.
@@DeathMetalDadReactsmy friend drug me to this concert. I hardly knew any of her songs. It was a rain concert. Pouring in NJ at met life stadium. I was absolutely floored. It was pouring and the place was electric. I became a swifty overnight. We bought tixs for the second night and I talk about this concert all of the time.
@@myname2339 I was at that show too! I've been a super fan since '06 and I took my sister (flew up from FL) and my cousin who I lived with in CT at the time. I drove us to and from NJ that day and it was the time of our lives. POURING rain, floor seats, she floated over us in a cage singing Delicate, truly magical 🤩🫶
When I first saw Taylor, she was performing in a Target parking lot next to a radio station. I had won free tickets. The longest lines at this event were for funnel cakes & BBQ. There were maybe a few dozen people milling around.
I was mesmerized though. I used to work in development and booked talent. I saw a star. This was 2006.
I have been at quite a few of her concerts/shows over the years.
Like a proud Auntie watching as she bloomed, grew into her talents, experienced life & evolved.
One of my favorite shows is her VH1 story tellers show. I was lucky enough to be there but better than that it gave me something to show to my friends who wrote her off as some sort of hive mind produced pop. Reaction channels were not really a thing then.
I saw this show live and my heart was so frigging proud of her. It was so fun. So cool.
Rep is probably my favorite album because I love what it is for her personally to overcome so much and because it feeds this 80s kid's heart. It fuses so much good stuff.
Love you going down this rabbit hole with us. Keep up the good work.
My wife got me into a local(ish) metal band that is now my favorite metal band (their song is my intro music 🥰). Well anyway, the guitarist also has a cybergrind band that has been BLOWING UP recently. They just did a whole . So I resonate with the whole, watching them grow up and blow up sentiment. Thanks for joining me in this journey. Taylor has the BEST fan base and It's not even close
I'm sure you know that she is currently on her world tour called Erar's Tour which has outsold every concert ever! The crowds can be as large as 90,000 per night and she will perform 5 nights in a row at some of the stadiums she performs in. She just finished a 4 or 5-night performance in Paris and will be in Sweden this Friday. A year before this tour began she started singing the entire show on the treadmill! She walked fast in the slow songs and ran for the fast ones so she would be prepared! She takes no breaks during the concert and sings and dances and plays the guitar and piano for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Originally she sang 44 songs, I think in some shows she sings even more! She is also very punctual and starts her concerts on time, unlike some other stars. I've been to every concert since her first one in 2006 when she was only 16. She was a star then but she's almost superhuman now! The Erars tour was life-changing. It's on Disney Plus if you want to watch it sometime?!! Love your videos and that you gave Taylor a chance! Oh, and you definitely have to watch The Long Pond Studio Session/Folklore on Disney Plus also. Completely different genre and you get to hear her voice live acoustically, the real advantage of watching that special is that she talks with her producers before each song and explains why she wrote the song and what it means to her. It's amazing!
I'll have to get disney plus when youtube starts cutting me a check 🤣🥰🥰🥰
@@DeathMetalDadReacts lol 👍🏼😍
Hate to say but George Strait just had the largest attendance in American history for a live concert in Texas. Over 105,000 in attendance for a man that doesn’t just stands there and plays his guitar and sings some of the best country (actual country) music ever made.
@@P-J-W-777 that was because the venue allowed that many people at one time. If you multiply 5 nights in a row at 80,000 people each it would be 400,000 people in one night and then she moves on to another location to another sold out event and does it all over again and again and again. The amount of fans she has that show up for her is unprecedented.
She owns 13 Management which her parents help run. She also gave all her truck drivers that drive the equipment around (a total of about 90 trucks) a $100,000 bonus each on the US leg of the Era's tour. Edited to add, she tipped all crew with a large bonus, my apologies.
She deserves everything in the world. What a queen
God, looking at that fucking stage it's not surprising that it takes 90 trucks to get it around. The whole thing is video screens, there's like a twenty-part lift area, and it's hard to understand size context from video but it's cross-shaped and long enough for her to (slowly) walk in a straight line down it for like, idk, 2/3 of my tears richochet? Also there's several grand pianos* and a whole-ass cabin.
*Digital pianos with grand piano casing, but that casing takes up just as much space as a real one.
90 TRUCKS?!?!?!?!
@@DeathMetalDadReacts Yeah there are few vids out there on the logistics of tour. It's really impressive.
Shenow affects whole economies when she holds a show. It's not just her crew either. It's all the ancillary businesses.
At this point, the Rep tour it was like having any big artist come a huge show though.
You can always count on the Swifties to provide lore & context to anything you give us
She's been in the Guiness World bool of Records 118 times. Already. She's only 34. It's on her very long list of awards and nominations.
I went to this tour! I was lucky enough to go to one of the London shows at Wembley Stadium. Can confirm that every show on this tour was this scale, with all the pyro etc - it wasn’t just for the one they recorded for the concert film. It was the most incredible experience - Taylor’s energy and performance was amazing, and she had such stage presence. In a crowd of 90 000 people, it felt like she was singing to you. And I can’t describe what it felt like to be in a crowd that size with everyone in such a jubilant mood, all scream-singing along to every lyric. Honestly the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at a show. I’m going to the Eras Tour this summer and I can’t wait!!
And the amount shown in the recordings isn’t even close to how much is actually going on live. Went to Eras and the film left out so much of the firework and pyro work bc you just can’t get it all in shot
Metalhead swiftie here. I went to the eras tour last week and my god this song went even harder. Id never call taylor my guiltily pleasure because i dont feel guiltily about enjoying an artist that takes their work to the next level every single time!!
I am so jealous you got tickets! Hope you had the most incredible time
Watching this man get converted is a joy, I can't wait to see his reaction to Eras when we get there!!
New subscriber! I'm a lifelong metalhead, 47 years, cried when Randy's plane crashed, cried when Satch shredded in front of my eyes, cried seeing Megadeth and Opeth for the first time, and absolutely THRASHED when I discovered Taylor a couple years ago. Love it, love this, love your content! Can't wait to see what's coming!
Thank you so much for the support! I have a lot of friends who are swifties and have been trying to convert me for years. I was resistant until recently and MAN I FUCKED UP 🤣
@@DeathMetalDadReactsto be fair, I think Reputation is the album that really got people’s attention and when the tour movie was on Netflix, ppl were like, “wait, WHAT?! This is INSANE!” It even solidified a lot of casual fans into Swifties, for me, I’d been a fan since the beginning, hell we were even friends on MySpace, but Reputation was the album that made me a full-on Swiftie. It just raised the bar in so many ways 🖤
@@DeathMetalDadReacts Hey, I ignored her for years, too! Then she re-released Red and I HEARD, GURL and had to listen. I played the Taylor's Version beginning to end in one sitting. I felt brilliant for "discovering" her, but so stupid for having brushed her off as Pop Country for all these years. Then again, I'm feel like Megadeth found me right when I needed them, same with Saigon Kick, Bad Co, RUSH, The Who: they all fell into my life right when I needed them most. And, hells yes, I was, no joke, down BAD when I finally listened. I very much survived bc of discovering her music.
Reputation might be my all time favorite Taylor swift album but folklore makes it hard to say that with certainty.
I went to the reputation stadium tour - every show was like this, not just for the recording of it.
You should react to “August” from folklore!
THE STAGE PRODUCTION IS NUTS. HOW MANY TRUCKS DID THIS TOUR REQUIRE?!
Im not sure if anyones told you this or not yet, All the light up bracelets on peoples wrists? those are in sync with the show, so not only are the fans a part of the lights, Taylor can see every single light from the stage so she can connect with the fans because she likes to see everyone there.
that's actually really cool . I love the way she loves her fans ❤️
her 13Management Company is hers, run in part by her parents; she also runs Taylor Swift Productions, which produces her tour films, and music videos. Then there's TAS Rights Management (her middle name is Alison) --- which handles trademarks, and licensing things. They needed to countersue Evermore Park in Utah which sued her for her album title, Evermore. It was a stupid money grab, because an album isn't a park, and because she can afford a lawyer. (and they were then found to be playing her music constantly, without paying the licensing fees for commercial use).
I don't know what the stage cost to set up, but she always has had a hand in designing her stages; the Reputation Tour stage was estimated to be larger than a 747. The Eras Tour stage is larger, and has a lot of robotics, insane sound systems, a video display stage floor, and her fireworks, pyro, steam, etc.. Also, she has two of them; one for where she is this weekend, the other en route to the next location. For Reputation, including her band and singers, she had a crew of around 400; this time around, it is over 500. Just before she wrapped up the US leg of the Eras tour (in Santa Clara, before Sofi and the film) she gave out $55 million in bonuses to all her personnel and others traveling with the tour --- including $100K to each of the 50 or so truck drivers.
In the past, she would release an album in the fall, have release week promotions on morning and evening talk shows, television special, extending to her birthday and Christmas, a few different versions of Jingle Bell Balls to round things out; after New Years, she'd settle into work with her band and their tour music director for how to arrange the music on the album for live performances; interstitial music for the set changes and costume changes, costumes and makeup, and choreography. And, getting a crew of dancers. Lighting and pyro and steam and elevators need to be planned out. Figure 3 months, plus some drill time for the riggers and techs to make sure everything works, and get all the timing down. Band, backup singers and some dancers tend to come back when she is touring; it is her extended family.
With 5 albums to tour, she's made this an enormous Greatest Hits sort of concert; she trains for it by singing the entire setlist on a treadmill, fast for fast songs, slower for slow songs. 44 songs is almost 3 1/2 hours (or longer on the nights she released Speak Now and 1989 and showed music videos). She used to hate exercise in her teen years; now, she's probably a better athlete than some of the pros. While touring, she recorded and released two of her older albums, and now this double album. She used to do an album about every 2 years; since the pandemic, it has been about 2 per year. And videos.
When they talk about donations in the intro: she donated $1M to flood relief in Nashville after a storm in 2010; something similar to Houston aid agencies after a hurricane (Mom's hometown). She's donated to women's shelters, cancer research, GLAAD, wildlife conservation in Africa, and promotes the World Health Organization's food banks. Also, she's given to random acts of kindness out of the blue to fans; signed thousands of cd's and sent them to small records shops in the US and UK for Record Shop Day to help keep them in business. also, in 2010 or so: a $4M music education center at the Country Music Hall of Fame, around $25K worth of books and instruments to the NYC school system when she bought her apartment there in 2014; a hefty donation to area food banks in every city on her Eras Tour in 2023.

My ADHD ass will forget otherwise! Thank you SO very much for the info AND for the time you took to spend with me on my channel today! IT MEANS THE WORLD
@@DeathMetalDadReacts That’s so nice of you to thank that person for the information. I subscribe to people who respond to their subscribers because we are people, not just another number for the headcount. Thank you. Instant sub after reading your reply. That’s rare these days, but I still value it very much. Thank you! ☺️
@NYheartinAZ I try VERY hard to respond to EVERY single comment that I get on the channel. Sometimes it takes me a while to get to all of them. And I don't ever get mad about criticism,
Constructive or otherwise. 🥰
The LORE comments are like water to me. I drink them all up 🤤🤤🤤
So I'm unsure of the specific numbers for the Reputation tour, but currently with the Eras Tour, it's costing about $790,000 to put on the show every time it is put on! Literally, $750k each night!🤯
A lot of naysayers will roll their eyes and be like "Well of course she can spend that much cuz she makes so much money from her fans" but it's not that. It's that she's always put so much into creating her tours and her music for the fans and that has led to everything getting more and more expanded! For Taylor, giving back to the fans is what she loves to do the most after making music! When she was still a teenager she actually did a 13-hour meet and greet! Swifties are so lucky because the artist that we love the most is constantly feeding us ( and I don't know if we always deserve it, but we'll take it)🖤
That's what I expected to see numbers wise tbh. And the naysayers are more like HATERS. So what if she spends a million bucks a show to make it great for the fans.
@@DeathMetalDadReacts Preach! Haters are all jealous because no one that they like does anything close to what Taylor does for her fans! People are just floored that she's now done 87 shows and there hasn't been any issues at any one of them-no fights, no arguments, no throwing things or being so drunk you can't stand up! Other than weather related issues I'm pretty sure the worst that could happen is that a Swiftie might aggressively want to trade friendship bracelets with you!😉
Wouldn’t we all love to see a BTS documentary of how this show stands up, operates, tears down and moves to the next location. She must have more than one set. It would be fascinating.
@@leaanndye3109 You are absolutely right my friend! I've only seen a tiny bit of BTS of the stage setup but yes, I would love a video that really shows everything too! Brightest Blessings👾
@@megandelynn6114it’s true. I went to the US leg in 2023 and I’ve been to big concerts before, and as a woman, you’re always very aware of your surroundings and on hyper alert, but at The Eras Tour, you never had to feel that, it’s was a totally safe space to exist and be joyful, which was a brand new feeling and I’m in my 30s. The choreography of her Reputation Stadium Tour was a direct hit back against the numerous critics who said that Taylor couldn’t dance. She shut them down so hard with her moves in this show that they are still reeling. She SLAYED the choreography… hell, she slayed everything on this tour. The Netflix special of this performance converted SO many people to Swifties, myself included. The entire show was a MASTERPIECE.
I just found you. I’m an older Swiftie…just turned 56. I can’t keep up with all of the easter eggs that the younger ones do. I check out their channels for help and I love to see people react to her videos for the first time. I joined your channel and look forward to more content.

You’re doing great. Reputation is the album (and tour) which made my husband go from a supportive dad who listened to Taylor’s music with his girls, to a full fledged Swiftie.
This concert was taped in Texas at the end of the USA leg of her tour. This was just another night on the tour. She was this great every night. Thank you for reacting to this awesome Taylor live performance.
"Just another night on the tour" what a powerhouse she is
YOU HAVE TO REACT TO "WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER 1989 WORLD TOUR (ROCK VERSION)!!!
I didn’t see if it was mentioned, but one senior member of her management company, 13 Management, is Robert Allen, who started out as tour manager for his younger brother’s band back in the late 70’s. You probably know them, a little group called Def Leppard. Robert is drummer Rick Allen’s older brother and joined Taylor at the beginning of her career. Not sure if it was her first ever tour or her first headlining tour, which was for her second album. Def Leppard even did her CMT Crossroads with her during that time (2009-ish). Robert still tours with Taylor to this day, though I think he oversees the tour managers now and doesn’t handle the minutiae any longer. A good chunk of her band has been with her for years. It says a lot about a performer when she retains her people for as long as Taylor does.
When I watched your first TS reaction, i just knew you had to see this one as soon as possible. I call it a palet cleanser. 😆
This Reputation Tour was filmed at the end of the tour in Texas. In 2018. Thank you so much for watching this! Great reaction, I loved it!
what a fun reaction!
Wish I could hear this for the first time again.
Its so cool to see your channel grow :)
She has 368 people just for staging, lighting, and pyro. Does not include the band, dancers and background singers. They all travel with her, and she treats them all very well !
She trains HARD. She runs a treadmill while singing, to prep for this. The Eras tour is three hours. Not only was she selling out the stadiums, but 10k+ people would gather OUTSIDE them to enjoy the music. It is wild, and I love it, and love her.
As a metal head by trade, 2008 I was dabbling in Country and Drum and Bass. I was won over by Pendulum in the DnB world and Taylor Swift in country.
Always said I’d go and see her, I saw her on the 1989 Tour in 2015 in the smallest venue she played with just over 11,000 folk in the SSE Hydro here in Glasgow, her only Scottish date till this year.
I’ve seen Slipknot, Children of Bodom, Lamb of God and Gojira. None go as hard as Taylor. Her guitar player Paul Sidodi can solo as well as Jim Root or Mark Morton. Her band is superior to many metal bands out there. They are locked in.
I’m going to say this, she has her My Chemical Romance moment in her new era with My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys. Very Black Parade from the live streams I’ve seen from Paris this past weekend. The Poets era is going to be massive, the band I think will shred my clothes off at Murrayfield. Yes, I’m away again. I can’t wait till I see her one more time. I’m getting a whole new show from her, folk from the US are offering £30,000 for two tickets.
The production is crazy. Even her production crew is crazy, she has a build crew and tear down crews are over 150 strong. There’s about 150 folk involved in the production of the show, I think I read an article that it’s all about 500 folks in total with all reporting to her. She has her own tour company now, Taylor Swift Touring. She does it all, only uses Ticketmaster or AXS as ticket agents. Post Ticketmaster controversy in 2022, I’m half expecting her to do tickets in her next tour.
The fact that was the Rep tour and she got 85,000 into AT&T Stadium. Makes me wonder how the Cowboys feel that there’s more folk supporting her winning than the Cowboys do each year.
I still think the US leg last year could have been booked a little better with more dates. Here in Europe, we have an Olympics and a Euro football tournament as well this year so she is not doing some of the larger stadiums. Also Barcelona FC are renovating their stadium. I’d reckon that she has left probably a million, maybe even two million tickets on the table across the world. My booking would probably have seen it extended into 2025. Rumours that it may still do that are out there.
The 3 Scottish dates had 5.8 million signal they want to go to them. There are 222,000 tickets for those nights. Paris has 31 million applications for just 180,000 tickets. Madrid had similar for 160,000 tickets. Demand is crazy.
Oh if you loved this one you should definitely do more from reputation. Don’t blame me and I did something bad would be great!! Think you’ll really love those two
Thank you for reacting! I’m a rocker & a Swiftie! Reputation & Red are my favorite albums of hers, though I go back & forth on my favorite of the two! My husband and I have been lucky enough to see her Reputation Stadium Tour as well as her Eras Tour. We were in nosebleed both times, but they were so worth it! I would love to see you react to her era by era. She’s incredible at everything she does.
The Eras Tour is really spectacular but I don't think she'll ever outdo this intro. I never, ever get tired of watching it - it is SO KILLER.
she's absolutely killing it right now. her shows being 4 hours long? that some serious performance.
The production on this video was so improved, GREAT work as usual!!!
Thanks! I'm trying to speed learn a lot of stuff 🤣
Only up from here 🥰
Subscribed! So refreshing to see a take that isn't "she tries too hard" or "I just hate everythinf she does for no real reason." Story time! Multiple exes of mine hated on Taylor Swift without even listening to her music. My current boyfriend was starting to do the same, so I made a playlist of her best songs that you dont hear on the radio. Then, I made sure that playlist was on while I was cooking dinner one night. He came into the kitchen. "This is pretty good. Who is it?" He no longer disses my music without actually listening first.
900 IQ move! 🥰🥰
I became a serious Swiftie a little less than a year ago. Her music has had the most positive impact on my life of any artist. She's truly life changing. I'm glad you loved this.
Wait till you see the rest 😊 this album hits hard and is so good but didn’t get the acclaim it deserved.
This sing is 100% on my summer hoochie daddy playlist
I’m still salty this album didn’t get nominated for the Album of The Year at the Grammys
Let’s see what happens with Taylor’s version.
This was filmed at Dallas cowboys stadium over two nights. It was sold out both nights
You should do “I Did Something Bad” from the Reputation tour
he did, a week before this video was uploaded i believe
You’re at 744 subs now bc me and 4 other ppl just watched this and we all subscribed! We’re hard core swifties. We can pull amazing numbers on anything Taylor Swift! Thanks for doing this. We’re looking forward to seeing your reactions on this journey.
Buckle up my guy. lol
Keep shining ✨
Yall buckle up, because the more comfortable I get, the more UNHUNGED I become 🤣
Another one bites the dust for Taylor. She’s a great singer. She’s just begun.
My favorite Taylor Swift album. Darker than the rest. And this tour was mind blowing to watch even on Netflix lol Don’t know if you saw the end where she mentions how many people it took to pull off the production for this tour but money and time WELL SPENT.
I knew her as a kid and wasn’t a huge fan until Reputation. This album converted me to a fan.
Watch Vigilante Sh 💕
You don't have to tell me twice!
@@DeathMetalDadReacts From the Eras Tour film.
The reputation tour she was under different management etc for paying for the tours. For the eras tour, she now has her own company. She owns it all.
Dude, you have to be one of the most humble, honest, open minded PEOPLE (The Music Critic takes a back seat) - just an all around GENUINE “peoplel” that I’ve ever encountered. You appreciate fine details that only appear as the result of a LOT of dedication and a LOT of hard work. you also know “where to give credit where credit is due”…. I know for a fact you can’t say nice things about others… unless those same things are the truth about you. 😎
Can you listen to my favorite songs which you might like? It’s better than revenge and innocent:)
These videos make me so happy! You might like Who's Afraid of Little Old Me from her new album! The music in the song isn't like this but lyric wise, great!
As a swiftie and metalhead HELL YEAH i’m subbing
One trucker said they got $100,000 each. She also gave bonuses to others
I super love this reaction! You just got a new subscriber 😁
Can you review “I Did Something Bad” from this tour??!!
I think I did? Maybe not. I'll double check after work 😁
I believe you listened to and reviewed the live audio. Just discovered your channel last evening. It’s great!!
@@ditaesther816 then ill add the video to do down the line as well! thank you so much!
"Yeah she's nat 20'ing in her wardrobe right now"
INSPIRATION FOR YOU, good sir. 😆
I could have used that last session when my BBEG rolled 3 NAT 1s IN A ROW 😭😭😭😭
Nothing like getting pub stomped in your own universe 🤣
This reaction was fire! I love that you said she was "Nat 20" in her outfit 😂. That was perfect. I only have 1 suggestion. There's so much flow in Taylor's music, and even more so in her video and performances, that I would back up 10 seconds or so after a pause so you don't lose some of the impact. There are lines or moves/scenes that just hit so much harder coming right on the heels of what went before.
Text wall and excuses incoming.
I just started the channel, and today was the first VIDEO reaction. I forgot to learn the shortcuts to rewind youtube 10 seconds. I have them memorized for Spotify. But ill fix that going forward. Thank you for being so nice and reminding me gently! Yall are ALL so frickin nice. I love it here.
When this played in Edinburgh at the concert murrayfield stadium the local earth quake sensors detected movement. The atmosphere, the crowd singing and dancing were insane. It was brilliant
you need to see i did something bad
The Reputation tour is completely a Nat 20. Honestly, pretty much everything is a nat 20 with her.
Every time I press play I learn this more and more 🥰
@@DeathMetalDadReacts Welcome, Swiftie! If you choose to claim that title. Glad to have you!
this made me so happy 😭 its so wholesome
I’m so here for this weird Ven diagram of Metalheads respecting T, and Swifties looking for reaction videos, then being exposed to Metal. It’s kind of my happy place. 🤷♂️😎🤓
Well, check out my friends bands! PORTALS (low and slow caveman riffs with brutal existential lyrics), Empty Graves (political based nu deathcore), and Bind The Sacrifice (Progressive deathcore/metal)
As a metalhead switftie this is awesome ☺
METALHEAD SWIFTIES UNITE
6:12 she's more metal than all of us
I DID SOMETHING BAD ❤
Going to this tour was the best experience ever. You should check out I did something bad live.
I listened to the song, but I NEED to watch the video on the channel In the future
@@DeathMetalDadReacts yeah the live performance is pretty different from the studio version so it will be a unique reaction for sure
@@DeathMetalDadReacts WAIT it just popped up on my feed for your channel whoops. Then I’ll suggest another song. This is why we can’t have nice things/we are never ever getting back together mashup. It’s the perfect tour closer.
@@user-tw1zv8ki9q DEAL!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I love your reactions! So real and kind. Just appreciating the talent I love it 🩷
I don’t know if anyone else said this, but she goes hard on training to do these shows for the ERAS TOUR she ran on a treadmill for three hours at a time singing the Setlist
I'm tired just THINKING about it! She's so dedicated!
PS: Good job mate. looking forward to next video reactions to her
The shows are as involved as a broadway play and all those people and sets etc have to cost, so it figures that going to a concert costs as much as a hit broadway play. The profits aren’t all going in her pocket, they sure right there on stage.
People who criticize underestimate her and her company. The whole TS band crew is awesome.
It's so refreshing to see an artist in complete control of their own vision and company. Nobody holding her back. She deserves to have two jets 🤷
This is so wholesome
You should watch the Rep set for the eras tour, she has a lot more grit in her voice now, the songs sound so much better!
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO SOUND EVEN BETTER?!?!?!
TTTHHIIIISSSSSSS !!!!!
@DeathMetalDadReacts it's seriously so good...specifically Don't Blame Me, but that's my favorite song on that album so I may be biased 🤣
It's mostly all her. Her workout is running on a treadmill belting the whole set list, that's training.
That's INSANE dedication. And we aren't worthy!
why are you wearing the cross upside down? disrespectful af
Because I have no respect for organized religion and everything it stands for. It's a disavowment of organized religion, not a proclamation of my own religious views
Her concerts are put on by Taylor Swift Productions. So, I would assume that she pays for it all. Not sure if that is how it was during the rep tour...but it was that way with the Eras tour...she even gave all of the truck drivers bonuses. She's good people
It’s sooo good and it gets better every time 😍🖤 Unfortunately, she didn’t do this tour in Europe but luckily we have this show on film 🔥
To get physically fit for tour she ran on a treadmill every day while singing her entire 3 hour set
And I got tired just reading this comment 🤣
GenX Swiftie and former pro singer here. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate you being so open to enjoying different types of music and letting TayTay into your world. She is everything I would want to be if I were still performing. From her lyrics to the music, stage performance and sheer presence to the kindness and generosity she so abundantly provides everyone around her, I have the upmost respect for her. You absolutely need to see the Eras Tour movie if you haven't already. It will change your life. 🥰 I subscribed to see more of your authentic reactions!
Thank you so very much for your support and kindness! We can all watch eras together on the channel in the future!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Great reaction! Thanks appreciate your launch! Good luck bud!
The most fire concert opening still mmmmmmmhhhhh 🖤🖤🖤🖤💥💥💥
If anyone could dual class a bard with a rogue, it would be her, and her a pen would double as a soulknife 😂 As a Swiftie and DND lover, when you started making those references, it made me as happy as this song does 😊 Taytay definitely rolls a nat 20 every time she picks up her dice 🫶🏼🎲
As a DM I am ALWAYS in DnD mode 🤣🤣🤣 shes a level 20 bard for SURE
I knew you’d dig this show. Just do the playlist. It’s so good!!!
Also, you sound great 👍🏼 great job 🫶🏼
Also We are never getting back together live in Paris is Taylor as a Rock goddess.
Tyce DiOrio did the choreography. He’s so fantastic. They said she couldn’t dance so, she proved them wrong again.
You really gave me something to smile about tonight after a sh!t day so thanks for that. 😉🫶🏼
You’re great! So happy you’re hip to Rep now!!
As soon as there is a good quality live video of her performing Who's Afraid of Little Old Me, you NEED to react to that.
Another thing that one has to consider is that before reputation she had at best "Bad Blood" for a more darker side. She was gone for a year after the 1989 album. The singles were Bad Blood, New romantics, out of the woods, wildest dreams, Style, Blank Space and Shake it off. That was her vibe. Then radio silence. The first thing we hear after that "Look what you made me do" so everyone sprints to get the album and this is the first track.
I was at Wembley for this tour and can confirm the staging went just as hard for that performance too
She does this for 3 hours! No breaks.
She's an ANIMAL. dedication to her craft
Ok let's not be crazy death core shows are larger than 50 lol cause my kid just played a show that was local for 750... yeah not a stadium however. Her shows are insanely huge
Not ALL deathcore shows are small, but at least local to me, they are 🥰
@@DeathMetalDadReacts yeah I can see that. We live in la
It’s awesome to see a man; especially a man whose music preference isn’t exactly in her space.. react to this. Her reputation album alone though is so many different genres lol. I only just got into her a few months ago. I honestly just didn’t listen to her music because she was over played and it got annoying… but now I know why she’s over played. I fell in love with her through a documentary I watched on here; her personality and how funny she was and also watching her write music. All of that did it to me I decided I’d listen to a playlist on Apple and now I own all her cds 😆 her writing is incredible. I definitely watched the eras tour too and the reputation era is definitely my favourite performance. If you haven’t seen that, that intro alone will blow your mind.
This is the first time I’ve ever said it or typed this but I’m officially a swiftie and don’t care who knows 😆
I haven't listened to any radio music in probably a decade? My interest has been in subculture and music that sees no radio play. My friends have been trying to get me to listen to TS for years, but I just decided that I'd give it a shot and make a video. And now... here we are 🤣
@@DeathMetalDadReacts lol thats hilarious. Well I hope this channel works out for you. I really like that you actually have a lot of knowledge in music too it makes the reaction videos a lot better when you can comment on specific parts that you love and why you like it. Keep going.
👍
TS also donated to each city that her tour stops in for the Eras tour. She has shown up at fans homes with gifts. She invites fans to her homes for group listening parties. She showed up at fans Weddings, bridal showers/ wedding showers, birthday parties. She picks which fans by “stalking” them on socials media 😂. She also held a “Swiftmas” every year and picked a handful of fans to send personalized Christmas presents. TS has the most dedicated fans because she stays connected to them. Oh and if she sees a fan walking on the street while wearing her merchandise, she will approach them. She treats her staff and fans amazingly so it’s easy to appreciate her as a person as well as an artist.
Man, you must react to I Did Something Bad, same concert... It's just... 👌👌👌👌👌
Death Metal Dad, I'd LOVE to have you on my channel sometime to react to wrestling or a weird true crime case!
Now listen to vigulante
It's on my list 🥰
I understand that this a reaction video. But, dude, you talk about elements that can be saved to the end of the video. You need to tighten up your reactionary dialogue.
Can you elaborate?
@@DeathMetalDadReacts First of all, I want you to be successful. I can tell you really enjoy doing this. In this particular reaction video, you were “enthusiastic” but not as clear or specific as to what you liked about the (sometimes very short) snippets of video. Example: “hey, did you pick up on ___ when they did ____? “ or, “This reminds me of ____, let’s listen to this bit again..” and then show you understand the technique or the musicality of it. Also, try to speak more professionally. You don’t want to sound too much like a 14yo, even if that’s who you’re targeting. And it’s okay to do a little research about the band/artist without listening to the video you are reacting to. Save your feelings for towards the end. Keeping your audience engaged is the most important thing you can do. And if you’re interested in something new, try listening to Sleep Token. The songs “Chokehold” and “Take Me Back To Eden” are great, for starters. I’m a 66 yo grandmother who has been listening to progressive rock/metal/alternative rock music for many years. Nothing special about me, but I love listening to reaction videos. Best of luck!
Everything from this tour is incredible. Do “I did some thing bad” next from the Reputation Tour, it’s 🔥
Watch this space: Pray For Plagues (Taylor’s Version) coming soon
She literally gave her truck drivers 150,000 bonus for hard work. So generous
