I was just going to post mid video how soothing and enjoyable I find watching his videos. I would like to one day have an off grid place and this place gives me ideas and motivation. Thanks Joe!
I only found Joe’s video about 2 weeks ago ,and I must say I like the Tent better than his other channels. TheTent is very interesting to me. I’ve never seen so much energy in one person.
You gotta just love this guy! What is it not to like about his videos? He is the busiest man I have ever see, Malissa is very fortunate to have him. I find his videos very refreshing and relaxing because he does so much work, he makes me tired 💤 . I think he has a lot of nervous energy.
Well, quite the diversity and you all have your niche for sure! First, providing top of the line entertainment! I find that to be important given the choices we have on TV now days! Shawn with natural abilities and craftsmanship that’s unbelievable and a layed back way of presenting it! Joe with the million different things he tackles, goodnight, have no idea how he does it! I do know that after watching one of his videos, I’m totally wore out! Then there’s Russ, getting the cabin built. Working through all kind of diversity while remaining patient! Having a plan and working through it and making it look real nice! Also there’s Martin. Still likes to get things done and a true naturalist! To me you guys are the true pros! That keeps my viewing schedule pretty full, so thanks to all of you
I got so excited tonight for an hour video, these are the best before bed when you watch someone who is super driven and motivated to do actual activity unlike us internet trolls. Not a bash on you Joe, just us low effort jerks living vicariously through you
I told my wife earlier that I couldn't wait to get everything done that needed doing and kids to bed so I could sit and relax and watch your over an hour long video! It did not disappoint. Thanks and take care!
Even the Out House is stylin' The Tent videos have become the joy of my day and I look forward to each and every new one. I even go back and watch the older ones over again.
Joe, you get more done in a day than most folks do in a week! I love the tent videos, they relax and soothe my weary soul. Thank you for letting me tag along.
My wife and I enjoy your videos a lot , we can see all the effort you take with all the different camera angles. Thank you for taking us along on your trips and life. John and Donna
Just love your videos brings back many happy memories of my grandparents cabin fishing, boating, water skiing thanks. Looking forward to duck, geese and deer seasons. Love venison.
Awesome down to earth guys who enjoys life. Keep up the good work. I had many a good days with my father which I will cherish forever . He has since passed at 89 years young.
I really appreciate your videos. I have health issues that I struggle with daily and my energy level is low. But when I watch one of your videos it gives me a little bit more pep to do some things. Its like having a friend come over and say, what can I help you with. So I thank you greatly for sharing your time and chores online. 🙂👍
I love love love your video's especially the ones with snow I'm the type of person that loves to feel cozy so I turn off the lights while in bed while watching and I feel like I'm there thanks
Brilliant editing as ever Joe, multiple angles all making for great viewing. Better than many professional TV documentaries. Same goes for the audio, calm clear voice nails the subject description every time, makes everything interesting. Your attention to detail is very impressive, no doubt the same is true in your business and that speaks volumes. Looking at your parents cabin it is clear where you learned your ways.
Boy Another great video Joe really enjoyed myself you're the only one that I watch an hour video of really relaxing while I smoke me a doobie got to keep it real
Your fire pit area looks soooo good since you changed out the rocks. God bless whoever invented the wood splitter. I have used one in the past and loved it!!
And there you go, We are now ready for Duck And Deer Season. The tent videos have always been my favorite. You're the only RUclipsr who I gladly watch an hour long video :)
Thank you for the nice comment. I had so much to do up there this time I thought the video might get a little boring to some but I edited my 5 hours of footage down to just over an hour hoping it wouldn't be too bad. Thanks again.
Well you did it again lol, got me diggen out the long handles sweat shirts and hoodies and totally excited for hunting season. Thank you Joe for sharing it really does make quite the boredom breaker every time you post. I really am tossed between the tent and your dad's place. There both so beautifully inviting. And the way you share makes it feel like were right there with ya. Best hour of relaxation I've had all week. Hope Melissa missed all the bad stuff. Thank you again and lol we'll see you on the next video.
Thanks Joe for another awesome video , I won't spend an hour watching anybody else's video but yours I will, entertaining & relaxing at the sametime. I have a cabin in central Northern Pennsylvania 25 miles from New York State line in a canyon but no lake. Your setting is beautiful, nice place.
joe so nice to see your new truck is running so well what a nice truck hell you might get four hundred thousand miles out of it i have a forty year history in trucking
Joe, I gotta tell you that I really "enjoy the ride" as you drive "to" the tent and transition from the busy Twin City traffic, to the much calmer roads lined with conifers, to (finally) the unpaved roads near The Tent itself. Now if I can hitch a ride "back" it will be just about perfect...lol
It was like spending the day, if not the weekend with you. You doing all the work. I watched and enjoyed every second of it. Glad I found it. You remind me of my brother. If I had one that was like me.
Joe you are my all time favourite RUclips video. Thank you so much. I love the snow and watching your day to day chores and upkeep is fascinating and so relaxing. From Australia thank you. You deserve way more views as for the thumbs down, that I will never understand. Maybe jealousy from other RUclips videos lol
Because of watching your videos, my son and I vacationed in Deluth this year. We both loved it! Thank you for putting out the videos. We just might take the long drive next year as well.
Duluth is beautiful. I hope you drove north a bit on 61 and got to see some of the Lake Superior lake shore. Lots of cliffs and very beautiful. If you drove past the Glensheen mansion and then 30 miles up to Two Harbors it is beautiful as well, I guess the real pretty cliffs are just north of Two Harbors and up towards Silver Bay and beyond That whole area is nice.
I absolutely love how methodical and organized you are! You knew how you would have left your fan! Thanks for making great videos. I still miss the ARGO!
I'm in LOVE with your mom's cook stove. Seriously, madly, completely devoted to it. My great grandma taught me to cook on a Prairie Princess, big ole' square one and to this day I miss it when I bake bread and biscuits.
Can't wait for duck and deer season. We are going sage grouse hunting on Saturday. So excited. Thanks for for taking us to the tent. I love coming along.
That was sooo interesting watching you taking care of the hunting lodge. You have a great work ethic, and you're a man who knows how to clean up after himself so I know your wife must love that. Hey, thanks, my friend, for taking me along with you on your weekend excursion.
I love how OCD you are. To some I would imagine your busy body style would not be relaxing to watch. I find it calming. I'm always watching to see if you'll put things away before you go on to the next task or if there is a down moment whether you'll find something needing done and knock it out. You never fail! If you don't ever hear it... good job. Your hard work is noticed and appreciated by this subscriber. Peace.
I recently started watching your videos and I have to say Ive enjoyed watching how talented you and your father are at building and designing things. You guys are awesome!!! I look forward to seeing more of your great craftsmanship..
Maybe but if you live in the country you will always be looking for what is out of place because you need to understand your surroundings. I do the same thing so I get it.
I'm fairly confident I've watched every video over the last month. I enjoy the heck out em. As far as the water heater, they're so valuable when the power is out or at elk camp where there is no power.
Joe, you are always working when you are at the tent. And you are mostly alone. All your hard work and prep for guests, but we never see anyone simply relaxing and enjoying each others company. What gives? Besides busy lives, that is. . .
Yes, this video is real nice to give everyone an idea about how much work is involved in the great outdoors. My uncle had a cabin in the north woods of Minnesota and it was in the middle of nowhere. Having a dependable vehicle is a must! In the summer months we went to Lake of the Woods to catch boatloads of walleyed pike. In 1955 you could catch fish all over Minnesota but things are different now. Thanks for your time!
Thanks, Joe. Another great trip to the tent. You could probably live their and do videos every day and we'd never get tired of them. My buddy Ry (another youtube creator - he does bbq videos) has been trying to get me to get that same smoker at my cabin. I love the looks of it and what it can do, not sure why I'm putting off pulling the trigger. I like that cover as well.
Also, I want to point out that while Ry did this amazing video of Raspberry Rock ribs, he failed to point out the raspberry chipolte sauce is not available in Canada! So I demand he come here and bring a tub of it. Everyone who agrees should chime in. Also, railings bedamned. No one has fallen off my deck yet (except Willow, twice), so you'll be fine.
great video Joe. ever thought of putting a bunch of large round rocks under and around the stove to retain the heat to keep the warmth going even when the fire goes out....
As a very young child, watching Bonanza, I just loved that house with the large colored...sorry can't think of the...I can't call it caulk between the logs but, I loved that house. 50 years later I still have a love for cabins. I really like yours. I love that fact that you are so Organized like me. When I do move to Montana soon, I'm going to have a Derksen, or Meadowlark cabin built and I'm going to organized it just like I see in your Videos. Thanks
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧👍 nice to see you backJoe, weather looked pleasant enough!, given the Hurricanes etc,it must be really nice to get away from all the problems of life and just relax and do your own thing, good on you Joe,hope the family are all well and Melissa also.keep these great vlogs coming they are great viewing on a cold winters night whilst in front of the fire.cheers until the next one 👋🏻👋🏻🇬🇧
Mike Campbell ,hi mike, yes we do have all sorts of deer from small munk jack to large stags mostly in woodland parks and in the wilds of Cornwall ,Wales and of course Scotland, pretty much over most of the country, but we cannot touch them , you can hunt on certain estates but it costs a lot of money to do so.
Hey there I have been a fan for just one year, Joe you are OCD for sure in the very best of ways, so accomplished, so talented, I love this show , I think you should get a dog, but you keep your dogs mostly outside from what I could see, my Labs sleep on my bed !! I had the pleasure of spending alot of my childhood at a lake called Aziscohos in Maine, friends of my family , it was so great took about four hours to get there, on loggings roads watching out for logging trucks going 90 on icecovered roads, then park the cars and 17 miles by snowmachine to camp, such a great camp, four double bunkbeds, warm cozy, great food, the best.
Am I the only one who finds watching Joe's videos therapeutic?
Nope, he works hard ,so I don`t have to.
I was just going to post mid video how soothing and enjoyable I find watching his videos. I would like to one day have an off grid place and this place gives me ideas and motivation. Thanks Joe!
I do too. I still wish he'd post a 10 minute video of him sitting down for 10 minutes. We'd all still watch it.
redroofretriever LOL!!!
Hah I was just thinking that!
Not all of our people are this hard working . Thumbs up great video .
I only found Joe’s video about 2 weeks ago ,and I must say I like the Tent better than his other channels. TheTent is very interesting to me. I’ve never seen so much energy in one person.

Thank you for the nice comment.
It’s very relaxing watching Joe work and do stuff, talking. I feel like I’m in the room drinking a beer.
I got so excited tonight for an hour video, these are the best before bed when you watch someone who is super driven and motivated to do actual activity unlike us internet trolls. Not a bash on you Joe, just us low effort jerks living vicariously through you

I really appreciate your videos. I have health issues that I struggle with daily and my energy level is low. But when I watch one of your videos it gives me a little bit more pep to do some things. Its like having a friend come over and say, what can I help you with.

Joe, thanks for another tent therapy video. Your editing skills are improving. Keep 'em coming! Oh yeh, your dad's place is a real jaw dropper!
Your fire pit area looks soooo good since you changed out the rocks. God bless whoever invented the wood splitter. I have used one in the past and loved it!!
Thanks Amy. splitting wood sucks without one. Lol.
And there you go, We are now ready for Duck And Deer Season. The tent videos have always been my favorite. You're the only RUclipsr who I gladly watch an hour long video :)

For real and can cook.
I recently started watching your videos and I have to say Ive enjoyed watching how talented you and your father are at building and designing things. You guys are awesome!!! I look forward to seeing more of your great craftsmanship..
"See how that fan is crooked, I never would have left it like that." Joe is like Annie Wilkes from "Misery."

I feel his pain, I'm the same way and would have remembered.
CZYK Republic-LoL 😂you spoke my mind !! I thought I could be anal retentive 😂
Ok, "Mr. Man..."

Marge O'Connor alone but the man cooks enough for an army
Russell Raposa and never gains an ounce!
A very independent individual who can accomplish so much on his own!
I would love to live like this all the time
Yes, this video is real nice to give everyone an idea about how much work is involved in the great outdoors. My uncle had a cabin in the north woods of Minnesota and it was in the middle of nowhere. Joe has the exact smoker I have. And cover. You should pull the trigger and haul one up to Raspberry Rock.
LOL and railings. Railings on the deck before someone kills themselves.
Also, I want to point out that while Ry did this amazing video of Raspberry Rock ribs, he failed to point out the raspberry chipolte sauce is not available in Canada! So I demand he come here and bring a tub of it. Everyone who agrees should chime in.
Also, railings bedamned. No one has fallen off my deck yet (except Willow, twice), so you'll be fine.
half a metre fall. No need for a railing. Anyway not here in Aus
Or better yet, make your own Raspberry Chipolte Sauce, I can't be that hard to doctor up some.
I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos Joe. You do such a great job with the camera views as well. Thanks for sharing!
What brand is that wood stove? I love it; extremely light and, seemingly, quite effective.
Thanks for the look around your dad's place. I would love to cook on that gorgeous stove. And the little heat stove is absolutely beautiful.
And by the way, Johnny's seasoning is the best! I put that stuff on EVERYTHING.
What a beautiful place your mom and dad have.
great video Joe. ever thought of putting a bunch of large round rocks under and around the stove to retain the heat to keep the warmth going even when the fire goes out....
My day is always made when there is a new tent video. Thanks for all your time and effort making these videos possible. It's appreciated.
There's just something good about stacking a full bin of firewood.
As a very young child, watching Bonanza, I just loved that house with the large colored...sorry can't think of the...I can't call it caulk between the logs but, I loved that house. 50 years later I still have a love for cabins. I really like yours. I love that fact that you are so Organized like me. Peter Simmons do they have any deer in the 🇬🇧
Mike Campbell ,hi mike, yes we do have all sorts of deer from small munk jack to large stags mostly in woodland parks and in the wilds of Cornwall ,Wales and of course Scotland, pretty much over most of the country, but we cannot touch them , you can hunt on certain estates but it costs a lot of money to do so.
Anna AKD03 hi Anna, yes I'm in "Robin Hood County", Nottingham
Peter Simmons do you hunt?
Awesome video and a joy to watch.
That was a good 1h7m of my life. Thanks for sharing!
No pork steaks! I hope everything's OK. Stove looks like it's working great!
What a beautiful place your Dad has built. I'd find it hard to leave once there. Great Job!

Gonna be a rock and roll singer, gonna be a rock and roll star....yes I are!
