Just got brought to absolute tears. I wish I could say I’ve been a fan of Chris Cornell for years, but I’ve really only begun to dig into him as a person and his music for the past few months. And jesus, such a beautiful and talented soul lost. I wish I could’ve had the chance to see him when he was here, but I hope he’s resting peacefully 🤍

I love watching different live performances of the same songs at different points in time and hearing his voice change. Here his voice has a bit more rasp kinda breathy where if you go way back or just a few years ahead his voice is a lot cleaner. Really interesting.

That is the treasure of having 4 octave range. You can make the same song sound unique every time. Most times he doesnt want the sound too clean. He likes to carry specific syllables to create a kind of sonic wave. It is quite remarkable.

This is a great song. He had so much talent. his performances were truly unique and his voice was so incredible. he could sing so many different songs, and that's what made him interesting. I like to watch his performances and it makes me feel better. can't think of anyone else that sounds similar to him. really sad he passed away
