Bro this is gold.. a big bow to you, i wonder though what format would you prefer to export the animation from photoshop to AE? personally i just love the interface of Photoshop, AE is just too alienating even after all these years.

So who can talk to me : what should we use to animation frame by frame - "pts" or "An" ?
i was wondering the same ...ive eeen using photoshop for the frame by frame (with the plug in animDessin) and i started considering An because you can have vectors drawings instead of the photoshop rasters... but what i found is that An has a very limited brush.. so i sticked with photoshop.
i'm no Animate expert so maybe i didnt get it well... but from what i understand
photoshop: more brushes , more tools but raster images
Animate : vector drawing, no loose of quality when resisnig . but not enough bruches
I don't have a ton of experience with frame-by-frame but I've heard of people starting in Animate (animation/clean up), and then adding texture in Photoshop

theoretically, I could do the clean up and the colouring in After Effects. right?
In my school we do it on Animate or Toon Boom Harmony. Tbh i like Harmony a whole lot better than all of the adobe animation tools
