I am Bahamian currently living in the US. As a young boy growing up in the Bahamas, one of my teachers was from Barbados. He was a great teacher (Math) and mentor to us. Barbados looks like it has many similarities to the Bahamas. I would definitely like to visit there in the future.

Crime is ridiculously high, to many jamaicans,and Dominicans DR: Barbados i would prefer it feels way more Caribbean than the Bahamas. Barbados has the best people and friendliest Caribbean people I've met. Bahamas has many casinos and is more Americanized even in speech.
