Fun facts (well not fun but whatever) "Andros" is an island in Greece and "Eleuthera" means "the free-one" in greek. Although I have no idea why they would give these names to them... still amazed :D
Robert I Baratheon Eleuthera was named by the Eleutheran adventurers, who were a group of people from Bermuda seeking religious freedom! you can read more about them online
Andros, Bahamas, also, ironically, was the place where many Greek-Bahamians first went to work on the sponge-diving boats. I do know there's a connection - Our Andros was named after the Greek one, but it's been a long time since I've thought about that history.
@Kj_mast_er There is a lot of stigma against them with them coming in and becoming 25% of our population. Overall a lot of older bahamians have a distaste for them. That's what I meant
”Sometimes you just gotta punch somebody in the face to develop a good friendship with them.” Funny that you should mention that, because it *HAS* happened to me. Once in elementary school, this one kid came up to me with a gang of sixth-graders and started attacking me, so, knowing, who the leader was, I literally punched him in the face, and that was the end of that, his gang broke, and he became my underling. True story.

Bahamas have 2 Greek named regions....Andros is also an island in Greece (with etymological connection with the Greek word for man..andras..άνδρας) also...eleuthera is ελεύθερα in Greek meaning free or freely...fact!!
you sure
I am a Bahamian and I think you did a wonderful job. Very well researched. Don't mind the idiots getting on you for mispronouncing names, you know more about the country than them. Bravo and thank you for covering my country
This is a lie. A lot of us know more than this AND can pronounce the names.... 😂
But we can can forgive Paul because we know he loves us... 😂😂

A lot of the Bermuda triangle mysteries have happened in or around my country.
Francis Scott ugh we r in the burmuda triangle idiot 😑
The Bahamas is the only country outside of the US I've ever been to. My family went there for a Disney cruise in 2007.
They didn't talk about Eleuthera
Kaitya Jean He did.
Fun facts (well not fun but whatever)
"Andros" is an island in Greece and "Eleuthera" means "the free-one" in greek.
I do know there's a connection - Our Andros was named after the Greek one, but it's been a long time since I've thought about that history.
maaaan I gotta go that pink beach it looks so pretty
Here after hurricane Dorian hit Bahama on Sep 3, 2019.
I’ve found my new goal, watching the swimming pigs in Bahamas 😂
I love your videos! I watch them all the time.
You missed one other BestFriend.... Our Sister Country of Jamaica. Nobody is closer than us two in the region
Jay Scavella - Nassau Spotter Turks and Caicos wants to have a lil chat with u bey 😂
n we hate hatians
@Kj_mast_er There is a lot of stigma against them with them coming in and becoming 25% of our population. Overall a lot of older bahamians have a distaste for them. That's what I meant
@@TOPAZ.o i hate u
What about Barbados?
Such an interesting place! BTW, it's Ba-hay-mian Barby
In American English it's everything Barbs pronounced.
Bah-haa-mas
mah-yah-gwan-ah
ah-bah-coh
ect
it's cringe but it's official in U.S.
YAY! I see my name in the credits and he also used some of what I told him!!! YAY
THANK YOU Alt Mantaa !! I only had 3 NATIVE Bahamaian people help me and YOU were one of them!
:$ oh stop it you!!! *blushes uncontrollably*

Lolol love the video. The pronunciation has me laughing. Especially, Bahamian.
Your production has gotten better. Maybe a Bahamas fundraiser after Dorian on your next dead week?
8:45 starts punching all my friends in the face
I noticed that there is a Korean traditional mask dancing in the ending credits in the episodes of 'B' countries. A small fun as a Korean watcher.
I like the improvements... but I miss the polar bear
MartinSabatonFan I killed him with my diesel sorry :(
what an amazing country
💞
Probally the best vid on the bahamas ive seen
9:53 lol he says "Illegal aliens"
”Sometimes you just gotta punch somebody in the face to develop a good friendship with them.” Funny that you should mention that, because it *HAS* happened to me. Once in elementary school, this one kid came up to me with a gang of sixth-graders and started attacking me, so, knowing, who the leader was, I literally punched him in the face, and that was the end of that, his gang broke, and he became my underling. True story.
Are you not aware that your RUclips profile emerges to be among one of this lucky winner
Will you do Kosovo and Taiwan?
He's currently focusing on countries that are in the UN. With the exception of Palestine for certain reasons.
Devin Mitchell I never said anything about Palestine. Or Kosovo or Taiwan yet. I'll be addressing that topic in a future update video
Politics change so when he gets round to them they might end up internationally recognized or non-existent.
By the time he reaches K, NATO will leave Kosovo and it will again be Serbian. One less "country"!
Plato Maybe.
242 IN DA BUILDIN! You did a real good job on this one!
