dude, i just have to say, i love your crazy, wide eyed, frantic explanations of the deeper theory of the interplay between trey and rick. I subscribe whole heartedly to your nerding out of the actual mechanics of what's going on. it rocks. keep making videos.
Just clicked on and I can't believe you are doing this. Immediate thumb up for me. I was there and it was a magical night. The Dripfield after these songs may have even been my highlight, but the end of Arcadia was magic too to hear such a Phishy part of Goose's music with Trey putting the final touches on to take it into outer space. Rick and Trey actually compliment each other really well as their styles are quite a bit different - Rick is playing all the notes and Trey is just adding texture and depth all the way though. Most people won't get it, but for those who do it is everything.
He did the same thing for his MMJ sit in with Mahgeetah. It's awesome bc he's like yknow what I can take the extra (however long it takes him) im sure it isn't a huge time commitment and blow people's minds by singing a verse and knowing the song plus he can have lyrics out there for him
There is a lot of talk about this being the handing of the torch, where I see this more as a handshake welcome to the big stage. Goose has been working their ass off the past few years, and it's great to see them have these landmark type of shows. How soon to MSG? Look forward to seeing the evolve over the next 5-10 years.
Its not the same torch... digging the future possibilities but Trey will one day go down as a Hendrix or Garcia. Hard to reach that level. The guy transcends
Awesome to see Trey use his TrainWreck front and center! He used to hide it inside an old beat up Marshall head shell. Trey is the happiest guy alive! Love his huge grin throughout.
As a total gearhead I’m not sure why he hid it, I could only guess it’s to protect it from damage, because it’s not like you can just go out and buy another one (well In Treys situation I’m sure he could but you know what I mean). I do know he was testing multiple OG Trainwrecks before he settled on his current rig (ironically one of which was named “Reba” that he sadly didn’t choose) and being a handmade, hand tuned amp they’re all unique and in a sense irreplaceable, so it may just be a little bit of insurance to put another layer of “roadie proofing” around it.

Just me again but forgot to mention how big the smile is on Jerry's face. The future of music is assured and just where and how far can this great feeling go? Was fortunate enough to attend night 2 at Radio City and holy smokes what a show!!!!!!
I watched this show the other day. It's a wonder I can speak at all. Goose seems to have no weakness. The vocals have historically been the Achilles' Heel of jam bands. No more! What a voice! What brilliant musicianship all around.
And Michael, I love your technical/theoretical analysis. Plus, your pure joy, of course! I'd be happy if I could play half as well as you.
Agreed 100%. The vocal harmonies of Goose are perfect.
Are you going to both nights in Columbia? I will be there for both. I will be the guy juggling the glowing lights to the music. Discovering Goose has brought them out again. It flows so well with their sound. If you see me, come say hi! It would be cool to meet you in person! Been watching you a while. Great content!
Hi, is this a prs se hb ii piezo? If yes, when you use the piezo do you use an ir and if yes which? Tks. I have the same guitar.
PRS Hollowbody II Piezo + Languedoc G2 sound great together.
The last section of Arcadia sure has the same vibe as "The Wedge." Certainly not note for note, but the vibe sure is there.
Its essentially the jam segment of Free lol
So cool to see you breakdown some Goose.
Dripfield is soooo good! Goose really is tearing it up
I’m not a PRS fan but I always have loved those hollow bodies they make
I hope you got to the MPP shoes because they were the Best on Tour to Date.
7:46 The shoulder that I leaned on was carved out of stone...

ESPN "Details " for an iconic moment for us guitar/ music nerds is amazing, Goosebumps for goose and company.... Please Like and Share for the love of god.
Ryan Storm will love this when he's back from camp ...
how do you set the amp to sound like that?
This was epic. This might now define the word epic.
I'm surprised you didn't hit on the note trey chose to start his solo and why he chose it?
