Light on features, still heavy on spying.
You could run something like Safing Portmaster or o and o shut up to turn off some of the spying
Just hope that this new Win11 (24H2) doesn't block apps and tweaks like ExplorerPatcher, etc.
@@BillAntthey did
@@Noahnillion19 - Time to stay or roll back to Win10. :D
You got that right
Looking forward for that batch file sir Brian. I badly needed the tweaks you've made.
This should be the "normal" version of Windows. Unfortunately, I expect the "normal" user won't be able to get this edition. Better news than the last 2 vids, though, to be sure.
I agree
I went 100% Linux in 2019. If I had been shown this in 2019 and I had access to buy it I would still be running Windows. BRITEC IT MAY SHOCK YOU THAT SOME LINUXERS LIKE MYSELF WOULD STILL BE RUNNING WINDOWS IF THERE HAD BEEN A GARBAGE FREE VERSION.
@@musicalneptunian I am also using linux mint from last 6 months and i am loving it i don't want to use windows ever again
@@musicalneptunian unfortunately, a lot of software still doesn't run well on Linux. I couldn't get whatsapp running. I need the WhatsApp video calls. I also couldn't get any Virtoo/Your Phone alternative, I had to pay for an Onedrive alternative, and my wacom tablet just doesn't work properly on Linux, so no drawing apps.
I pretty much switched to Linux completely at this point, but knowing that the LTSC is debloated is nice in the event I need to ever use Windows. This will definitely be my path forward after 10 EoL.
I also completely moved to linux mint completely from last 6 months and i like it, it is very stable and it does whatever i want it to do and i don't want to go back to windows ever again
@@FarHaN9 same here
If it were not for certain games that refuse to run on Linux because of Anticheats, Linux would be pretty much ready for a main system without any issues.
@@Mobin92 I think it IS ready for most main systems. Unless you play a certain game that uses those anti-cheat systems on a daily basis, it is ready. Anticheat software is intrusive AF anyway and are essentially rootkits.
They still collect if you tell them not to.
For those that want to try this out, beware that this is a supposed leak from a chinese forum so it's not 100% safe. I personally don't recommend using this as your main system.
Makes no difference debloated or not someone has your data.
I have this behind a firewall and MDR for monitoring. So far it's been pretty good but it did call 2 servers in Singapore, not sure why but I'll continue to monitor. You should see what a bloated Win11 calls to, lights up the firewall like a Christmas tree before even load anything from your desktop lol.
@@vulcan4d I'm interested in those Singapore connections. Did you find anything else suspicious?
maybe microsoft will make it official
@@MouhammudMarai-rw3pk Yes they will, later this year.
Nice video and good news… I’m happy with LTSC 2019, W10 I didn’t even have to deinstall Edge…
This will replace Windows 10, so its good news all round.
Which script do you use to tweek your windows, can you share it please?
@@keshavdua7586 I need it too! 😊
same ltsc 2019 win 10 premium
@@keshavdua7586 he should have shared it long time ago
The cold/warm boot memory foot print of my new windows11home laptop is just under 5GB, the memory foot print on that is half that, so if I can get an enterprise license I'll be installing that too.. - Nice one again Brian btw
You won't be able to get an enterprise license, sorry. Microsoft is 100% committed to making sure non-enterprise users endure the bloat and spying.
As far as I'm aware, the rounded edges are not displayed when using the basic ms display adapter. Once you install the drivers for your card, rounded edges appear.
yes, I also know that, it's fact
first time when you finished the clean installation, you will still see the square edges, but after you install all the drivers, it will appear rounded
I'm guessing that you need an LTSC license to activate this version to get rid of the watermark?
@@BillAnt Yes, but LTSC has to be licensed through a GVLK (generic volume license key), you aren't going to be typing in a license code, you're going to be setting up an internal keyserver at your enterprise, and your enterprise LTSC copies will activate via that server, in house. Microsoft won't license LTSC to regular consumers (or businesses).
@@TKing2724 - I've seen some LTSC activator servers on GitHub.
Well Brian mate frankly all this putting out of new versions and features is coming close to doing my head in. I personally am happy to use the version I am using now (23H2) simply because all I do is browse, email, and view RUclips for example. I have followed almost everything you have advised to switch off in Settings and well this version here is just something that some users of Windows complain about all the time. I just hope this does not come out as a mandatory update or similar because it has no advantages to me that I can see of.
Linux Mint would meet your needs.
Thanks Brian. I have a win 11 laptop that was manufactured some 2 years ago. Would it be feasible to change the OS to this new light version of win 11? I have no valued files or programs on this laptop to worry about. Many thanks.
Looks interesting! Might consider getting this version if not when it comes out then some time after.
Did the system requirements change for this one?
I see that it has Remote Desktop Connection installed - a Windows Pro app. That will make this a good candidate to run as a virtual machine on a NAS.
It's Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 24H2 after all.
If Windows had released this version of Windows 11 earlier I may have considered installing it instead of building a Linux PC a few months ago. I'm still on Windows 10 for now on my Windows PC but may consider installing Windows 11 LTSC when Windows 10 goes EOL. Thanks for the video. I'm using my Linux PC to watch your video. 🙂
Is there a download somewhere for that britec tweaks tool you used? please!
Very nice - thanks for the update !!! Finally "just" a operating system ! Can we upgrade to this version from Win 10 Pro ? Since the bloat and spyware has been reduced i wonder if it now costs more than the Pro version....
Fresh Install
Finally. A W from Microsoft. This is exactly what a modern Windows should be. Minimal bloatware and other bullshit nobody cares about.
Is ltsc debloated, cleaner & faster, more efficient than normal win11?
Hi @Brtec09. In one of your previous streams, you talked about editing the Windows registry to stop Windows 10 from updating to Windows 11. Is there a way to stop Windows 11 updating to that rather nasty new Windows 11?
Disable TPM
Where can I find your .bat file with disabling windows services?
I been watching your videos since 2012!
Happy 12th birthday!
I would have to find a way to slipstream the Wi-Fi drivers for my laptop onto this version to get it to run. I have the official Microsoft Windows 1123 H2 on a flash drive, and I tried using that on my laptop to strip out the OEM bloatware and it couldn’t even get past the wireless set up in the windows 11 out of box experience because the drivers weren’t installed.
If you want to bypass the Wi-Fi setup in the OOBE, do Shift F10 to open Command Prompt once it gets to the wireless setup part and type "OOBE\BYPASSNRO". It will restart and then it SHOULD allow you to bypass it as well as the MS account requirement.

Looks a perfect version of windows that wont need much tweaking. I would be very happy with that. I only wish it will be easy to get hold off but knowing Microsoft its going to be a pain to buy. Hopefully I can pick up a legit copy somewhere online at some point. Like most people I use a browser, some virus software, photo editor and a bit of a programming language. I dont need all the other crap.
I had actually just installed linux on a system to see if I could get used to it might wait for this to come out rather than start all over again.
With WinAeroTweaker your can turn any Windows into a nice debloated version.
hey brian the knowlegde you shared, Is it the offical window. by the way great share. Please share batch file with us so we can read and run on our machines.
Will we be able to install programs like StartAllBack on this version? Also, can a regular consumer buy an Enterprise LTSC license key?
Not tested StartAllBack yet Mike and as for Enterprise LTSC license key, we will have to wait for information on keys.
Haven't microsoft blocked startallback?
@@Britec09 Could it be possible to downgrade from enterprise to pro, keeping the enterprise settings?
Startallback 3.7.7 works a treat
Interesting, great video as always, but this left me wondering as a 73 year young gamer, looking mainly to an OS for gaming, does this new version retain the Window 11 gaming factors with this new version?, sounds like it'd make a great OS for gaming being debloated, and not resource hungry! , also is there a reduction in system hardware requirements, thanks for the all information and effort in posting this news!
You could set the time and currency to English (World) during windows setup to get rid of most of the bloat on the regular Windows Editions
And use Chris Titus Tech's utility(it's opensource) to get rid of the extra stuff
@@lloydc5736 I trust Chris's utility. Because it's completely open source. You can see their code
Oh wait, so basically this looks like Win7, one of the least bloated Windows after XP. I've been running Win7 since 2012 to this day, it's a wonderful unbloated experience ever since. Nice to see Win11 finally catching finally. lol Just hope this new Win11 doesn't block apps and tweaks like ExplorerPatcher, etc.
@@BillAnt I mean, Windows 10 LTSC/LTSB has existed too since 2015
What is the price & what are the system requirements?
Microsoft will release that info soon
@@Britec09 Thank you
If it's anything like the Windows 10 LTSC, it'll only be legally available to MS insiders (whatever they call the enterprise MS accounts) through volume licensing, i.e., it will probably be impossible for a home user to get a legal license to use it. MS obviously wants non-commercial users to endure the bloat.
Technically tiny 11
Wait, windows costs money??
The New Notepad keeps information once closed without saving and i really like that but where do we get this version?
I like the windows lite x website the people there make really nice debloated versions of windows 10 and 11 and give you options to add features later on i mean i just love what they do there its just better
Thank you. I didn't know this version of Windows 11 would be like this. Interesting. Less bloatware IS g...o....o....d!
Very lite
Yes indeed, now just officially debloat your main OS that everyone uses.
My question is. Why would you use 'Google Chrome' over 'Microsoft Edge' when 'Google Chrome' is collecting even more data from you over what Edge does while they both basically are the same web browser (except for some features)?
Or are you just deleting Microsoft Edge just to show that it is possible do do now?
Other than that, I agree that it would be better to use this LTSC version of Windows 11 over using those custom / modified Windows 11 ISO's out there. But, I would also use the 'ReviOS' or 'AtlasOS' project on top of an original Windows 11 Home install over this LTSC version if I'm just using a 100% original ISO downloaded from Microsoft.
Because, with LTSC version, I won't have all of the features I use in Windows 11 Home. And by using the 'ReviOS' project like I use now, I still contain all of the features that I use on a daily basis 🙂.
But still. Pretty nice to have this LTSC version for those who just want a fully stripped down version of Windows 11.
Support for multiple internet connections could be a thing, or internet connection manager.
Now if you download a big game, it will eat up your whole connection 100%, cant do nothing during.
You could set it to take only 70%, and you could still do other online tasks with the remaining 30%.
Sure it will take longer time, but i am multitasker, many things same time is how i like it.
Sounds like this would be great to run in a VM or be the host in Hyper-V.
Didn't watch the whole video but thanks all the same. *Will Windows 11 Lite work on an otherwise unsupported CPU?*
Could you use this version of Windows 11 for music software such as a DAW or would it not run correctly?
Question : does the Enterprise edition accept a Home or Pro license key to activate it ?
No, it needs an enterprise key, and LTSC needs a separate key again
I'm assuming this LTSC does not run on older PC's or it would of been awesome!!
There's always bypasses. Rufus does it automatically
I've read somewhere that the IoT version actually does, because it bypasses the checks. I guess so it can also run on older hardware that can't easily be replaced like ATMs and stuff.
You may even skip these stupid password recovery questions if you'd like a local account
Sir, i have a question, how do you clean bootable drive? Coz its fking up my system, it won't pass the loading screen on windows and after that it will BSOD
Does this version of win 11 need tpm 2.0 or any win 11 requariments ?
i hope not
@@blakedmc1989RaveHD me too I'm using tiny 11 currently
I would like to know, and I know I’m commenting early because I’m sure you’re probably gonna mention it, but I have a computer that came with Windows 7 that I upgraded to Windows 10. this is the light version do you think it will be possible that I will be able to use it?
Supported CPU LIST for Intel. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors Supported CPU LIST for AMD learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-amd-processors
Nice way to have calmness, to keep busy.
The only thing I don't like about this is some feature like explorer is probably the bad pre 22h2 one without tabs, also notepad without quick saves and tabs.
I wonder if I can get those on this version...
For notepad I guess installing the ms store updating the app and then removing the ms store should do the trick.
As for explorer idk sadly, moment 3 22h2 explorer is very good.
Not moment 4 bc it bugged renaming (f2 then rename file tha
en enter makes explorer automatically default the active window to not be in the foreground anymore, so you cannot navigate with arrow keys for quick remaming of a few files).
Did the dark mode make the edges of Task Manager round?
How will you activate that? Does a normal Enterprise license work for the LTSC?
Finally some good MS Windows news! Maybe I won't have to move to Apple after all.
As a user of Windows 10 LTSC, I guess I can consider eventually "updating" now.
Will this ltc version be easier on the processor demand? That's the biggest causes for people not updating to win11!
Will possibly be the same processor demand.
The IoT version perhaps...
My issue with LTSC is the driver set is nerfed and sometimes doesn't work properly with some devices.
anywhere could i get the bat you used im interested to use see it and learn from it
I have answered that question. I was going to share it originally, but trolls accused me of being a hypocrite. So I did not share it. I made the batch file for people who like to tweak windows.
@@Britec09 could you make an exeption i just want to educate myself on the subject more with all due respect
Is it still looking for the tpm requirements
ofc
Hi
Is the version will install on PC's which not meet the Win 11 requirements?
You can run the 26100.1 build forever. Its permanently activated. LTSC is a version of Windows that receives only security and bug fixes, no feature updates. Its intended for environments where stability and long uptime are critical. You need a volume licence to run it and as the licence description says, its meant for corporate deployment.
It looks like a "stable" in terms of linux and other software. It's also lightweight. And those of us who have "pro" or "home" congrats we are beta testers of rolling version, with telemetry to report to MS HQ
Where did you get the ISO from?
This is very much like the Linux KDE Plasma family ? The installer is very Linux in type and feel. Also, the home folders are KDE Plasma 6 type on the mega new release style. Linux Neon / Kubuntu KDE ?
Nice 😃
Thanks 😄
Can you use the blocked add-ons with this version?
Sounds like a great version: How will we activate it? I assume a normal OEM or Global keys will not work ??? Thx for sharing
Hurray... every version of Windows I used... from Windows 7 (2011-2020) to Windows 10 now (2020-present) is Enterprise...
You need a volume licence and I imagine they aren’t inexpensive.
@@NormanF62 GVLK drops a generic license key over KMS and it is valid for 180 days
iam a gamer/Streamer and this will be PERFECT for running AAA. Games thanks brian.
I'm gonna have a bit of that. 👍
You and me both Steve
@@Britec09sorry to tell you both but we are scumbags who lack the holiness to use it. But if buy a sacred statue of Panos Panay for 150 bucks his mercy will give you a copy.
Will I be able get an LTSC key from your linked sponsor?
I am not sure.
does it get regular updates like 24H2 on instant like the normal channels (home and pro)
Security yes, Features no.
It would be big if this one had the old school mail app and not outlook
where can i find the script you are using to reduce the number of active a process ?
Will this go on machines where windows 11 won't go on
Great. Bro, where can i download the ISO ? Thanks
Wait until it is released
Wait until Microsoft officially release it, this is an early access version.
MS said 'later this year'
@@Britec09 ok great thanks
Hi Brian, is it possible to share the batch file?
Can Microsoft Store to be installed into this windows version? I have game that is linked to Store.
Damn. I didn't think it could get any lighter with the stuff they stripped out 😂🤣
can you go straight from Windows 11 full fat to Windows 11 low fat? or will that cause problems.
Always do clean installs to avoid issues.
What are you talking about, putting milk in your coffee? If you mean an inplace upgrade from Win11 Home/Pro to Win11 Enterprise 22H2 LTSC then typically no but in the past changing several registry settings to make the OS believe its the same version (eg: Pro to Enterprise LTSC) as its being up/down graded too has worked.
Clean install
Skinny milk low fat low carb diet treated Windows. But if medical issues occur please see your IT doctor.
Hehe.. gonna wait at least half a year after release before trying this out.. but I like what I see.
Good news - good vid; however I remain sceptical. Unless told otherwise, the hardware spec for this edition is going to be the same and no less for standard Win11. In other words any existing Win10 incapable of being updated to win11 will still be unable to update to this Lite version. Put another way, this is MS very late inadequate response to all those customisers who have preety much done the same thing and more. Still, its good news in the long term - MS have woken up to the fact many of us just want an OS - not stuff that belongs in an interior designers toolbox. At last the Window Cleaners have been invited into MS building.!😃
Great for PLEX and emulation.. i tink :)
Thanks for the good news.
Now I'd like to see this as an upgrade option for at least W10 Pro.
britec tweaks link?
One of my concerns, will we be able to install explorer patcher & open shell?
If not there will most definitely be a way around their lockdowns at some point like there always is.
openshell still works, explorerpatcher doesn't as of right now.
How is it licensed? Will it work on the default product key that comes with branded computers; will it work with a home or pro key?
No, you need a its own ISO and key, which is quite expensive to purchase legitimately. Basically, you can only legitimately get it if you have a Microsoft agreement in place. It's not all roses either, since it has a slower release cycle and is missing the MS store, some software may not work. I've had to upgrade a few PCs to the latest version of Windows 10 LTSC in order to upgrade some PLC programming software for example. I do mostly like the stability, and the lack of those horrible quarterly, then bi-annual "feature" updates which Microsoft pushed so hard for Windows 10.
Can u go from windows 10 to this lite version of windows 11
Likely will need a fresh install, it's best to regardless anyway.
what about the 100 telelmetry servers>is it sending data?
As you can see it's still collecting your "Soul"
i will stay on w10 until the make a better version with better performance!
the updates for LTSC versions is extremely slower in comparison of regular versions, if you are enthusiastic person and like the new features, think again to use LTSC version.
Thats what the L means in LTSC, here is an OS that MS will provide security updates but wont throw relentless Feature updates that could break the OS or some apps for un-noticable new features that nobody cares about. You use LTSC for min MS BS apps, long term stability and what use to be a 10 years EOL that is now 5 Years. However you should be able to inplace upgrade from to the next version of LTSC.
@@cam_934 but you will need months to fix a security problem, everyone do what wants to do, I am just inform for those who is unaware what LTSC means.
Also, LTSCs are on very old Windows builds where newer stuff like games or programs might not function as they require new builds.
@@Mario583a LTSC can be installed on the latest gaming PC and will run 100% fine. LTSC was designed for business that want Long Term Stability that doesn't come with an OS that has/had feature updates every 6 months and MS pushing third party commissioned apps or new meaningless BS features that are just not needed or wanted. Frankly those meaninless BS features are why we are here watching this video as many watching are also sick of this rubbish.
That's the whole point of LTSC. You get security updates, but none of the random (mostly annoying) stuff that MS comes up with...
how did you've got that iso ?
this would increase FPS in games correct?
Is Windows 11 LTSC Enterprise 24H2 good for setup arcade cabinet, kiosk mode, no bloatware & low end pc ?
I guess that's what the IoT version was specifically made for. But depending on what Arcade system you want to run/emulate some special Linux distribution for that might be better. Look at "Batocera Linux" for example.
No, not Linux, many gaming arcade cabinet are stick Windows LTSC
How can i get your britec tweaker my good brther frnd

Oh boy. Can't wait. Oh wait a minute...yes I can.

Sounds good to me for pc gaming 🍺. Not only that it will be a more secure os with less possible exploits than the original win 11.
I will wait to see what it's going to happen wean this version release.
If is truly is less depending way to run windows and don't have any insane limitesion.
It may end up using this window's version after all i don't really use all those blower but i don't if Microsoft make this version complete
Or if have some form limitesion like for example to not use all the system requirements or to not have driver's support ect
Or something else that very important than i don't have in mind as for those apps i never use Microsoft store stuff.
And i always remove all the unnecessary useless apps wean i installed window 10 and 11.
In the past all most light version off windows have some instead limitesion like not able to use exe files not able to use all your computer resources ECT i hope to not be one those version's off window's
does it come with less spyware/malware?
Does this version stop 3rd party start menu apps?
where to get that ?
What about unsupported devices. Will it download and install without any problems.
