I love this vid, nothing else like it on RUclips, long run, first person view of Baja 1000. I watch this 45 min a day 5 days a week while working out on my Peloton. When standing up on the bike I can feel the compression of the whoops. This makes working out at home so much more fun. Please post more of past and future races, and keep the same camera perspective, its the perfect workout video.
Really hoping to see some new footage of this years Baja 1000, I absolutely love this footage! If possible it would be cool to include your back and forth with your copilot calling out turns and stuff. I come back to your videos regularly and love them
As a fellow Texan I completely applaud you and your team, you guys did great and we hope to see you at all the races next year. Love this onboard footage too.
11 minutes in and I just thought “The image stabilizer and gimbal the camera is using must be the best ever!” I like that the vehicle isn’t static in the frame and the image is basically horizontal all the time. Great video!

Hour 6:29:57 is the spot we say this years Baja 1000 RM 304 Santo Domingo Wash Great video!! Awesome to see a long gopro footage in race mode!! See you guys next year 2021
Yeah it is really blinding. I remember seeing onboard footage from Ivan Stewart sometime in the 80's and he would keep a hand over his visor while driving flat out with the other hand. Imagine doing that for hours.
Thanks so much for this. I grew up in the Mojave desert riding and racing motorcycles. We would go to Baja every year to pit for our race team(Desert Diggers) This brings awesome memories from my youth. I just saw it frome a pair of goggles instead of a windshield. Loved every minute of it. Maybe next time you could have the pit crew remove a tear off from the camera during the stops... Lol. Cant wait for the next one.
This is hands down the best footage I’ve seen. It isn’t cherry picked for what people think are the most exciting parts, it’s raw, unedited trophy truck racing in all its glory. I would GLADLY watch the full race from beginning to end. I’m not sure on what you need to do when you make a checkpoint stop, but even having 1 or 2 other cards/gopros available to switch the card or remount the other GoPro during a checkpoint, might work (assuming it doesn’t eat in to anything you need to do as a driver at the checkpoint). Someone please let me know if it wouldn’t work, and if it wouldn’t, what the reason would be, I’m interesting to learn
Jax Redline, race car driver, of course. Tiger Woods would approve. I always wondered what Baja was like to race from the driver's point of view. Now I know. Thinks Jax and crew.
i have 3 1000s as pit crew myself so so finishes and two DNFs but it was a blast! I think chase truck is more dangerous than racing! lol i ride desert motorcycle BUT not there I am in it to have fun!
Are there cautions marked on the GPS / Notes or do you just look for the big group of spectators and assume there is a nasty hole waiting over the crest?
This is pretty awesome, first time seeing a video of the full course(well at least half of it) :). Does this have the section 300, from the round rock bed to the rocky climb up..
@@jaxredline8158 Found it.. Mile 300 onwards, time 6:28:00 for the round rocks bed and 6:36:00 where it starts getting technical with rock garden. We were riding our dirt bikes up there and looked pretty demanding, great work with the truck.
At 39:00 to 40:00 either this guy was going too fast in the speed zone or the truck in front was going too slow. How else would you catch someone in a speed zone???
I know this is an old video. Damm. Keep it up and you would be an even more of a bad ass driver. Beat them them all. Like to take my Honda 350x on it.😂
Don’t worry bro it’s not the priority when trying to get in the podium, that was a really nice shortcut at @5:52:09 in san quintin, those 2 F-150s on the right was my dad and I we were like what is this guy doing the track is down here but after we saw you do it in less time we got it lol
@@jaxredline8158 Haha I had to scroll all the way through the comments because I knew some bonehead would say that. Only about 20 mins into this but really loving the footage. Thanks for posting it!

I'm a simple man of simple means and all I want in life is 11hrs of Baja onboard !!!!

Definitely the only way for a video like this is with the new cameras since they are are so smooth. The gopro 4 and back would look so rough

Damn, was looking for the same, should have read before. We rode about 200 miles of the track. This section was definitely demanding.
dont delete this video is the longest video onboard of a trophy truck
Best ASMR on youtube. Braaap. Love. Thank you
hahahaha
I'm one of those teens who when i am old enough i'm going to do everything humanly possible to enter (and complete) the baja 1k BRAAAAAAAPPPP
Running this on a loop in my garage.

I know it hahah we’ll be better about wiping gopro next time. Wasn’t planning on making vid like this hahaha
Thank you for doing this, and thank you for trying to get the whole race on tape this year.
What an incredible opportunity and journey. Only 15 years old in this video, remarkable.
This video is so good, I can taste the dust in my nose and throat.
Yum
I dont know how you keep up that kind of pace for that long! Wow! Thanks for the ride along!!
Very good video ...... Thanks for sharing it, many wishes to the pilots, co-pilots and all the support team for the great effort ....
Cool, thanks for sharing and showing how crazy difficult this race is. 👍🏽👍🏽
Amazing footage. It is crazy out there with sand, tree and engine roaring.

This is a top notch video. Thank you for sharing this adventure.
This video has made me late for work 4 times this week.
Whatever camera mount you're using is fantastic. Seeing the front of the truck bounce around on stabilized footage is just amazing.

Can you post more long run vids from this same perspective? Looks like camera is mounted just above windshield. Thanks
Thanks for Uploading
Killer truck, well done bro!

great video... thanks for sharing most of the course racing alone....
What Camera did you use to shoot this. You mention it was better than GoPro 4. I don't see reference to what you did use. Thanks.. Great video.
Great footage thank you.

You and abpdaly can win this next 2021 score baja races
I have 9 Baja wins, that light selection is horrible. Needs fog lights for dust like that. Great video I recognize all areas they traveld
Definitely needed less light for the dust.
Heck ya dude..
I love how they start you on road like here it's totally easy lol definitely not😂
What happened at 33:00 - 41:00? This guy and the truck in front of him slowed way down.

This is amazing footage,!! That motor is badass,!! Does anyone know what exact engine is in this truck,?
Doogans small block race engine! 800hp
would have loved seeing a topgear special on this. have them buy like $1000-1500 trucks or something and drive the whole length.
You'd be put next to Stirling Moss and Ken Miles for that one😂

Record in 720p and you should get the whole race. It would be cool to tie into the comms so we can hear the race. Hit me up, I can help next year.
lol who was he racing? there was no one else on the track
@41:10 all I hear is Luda, “Move bitch, get out the way”
Is the transmission a power glide or a CVT I don’t know about? Thanks for the post & best of luck.
Rancho Trophy Truck Trans
Essentially a 4speed sequential gearbox. Super strong but a bit of power loss through the drivetrain, but it is a 6k lbs truck on 39s so...
@@jh4650 Pretty close, 3 speed, 6k truck on 40” tires
Love it
Geez that white truck came out of nowhere
HP?
lol 11 hours finally an good show so i dint need to changer every 4 seconds
That's for not finishing.
I put in 3 days on my excercise bike for this!😲lol
Nice driving style not aggressive just to conserve the truck healthy.
I couldnt do this id imagine maybe the 500
The speed zones have got to be unbearable in a vehicle like that!
those breaks where so hot
