Loved this interview. This man is so real and down to earth compared to so many in the manifesting space. His back story is a brilliant example too if overcoming adversity. That lady he met in the book store sounded wonderful! Just ordered his book.

I'm so glad someone is talking about using one's capabilities for helping others. While I think one needs both personal achievement AND devotion to something that helps others, I think there's way too much emphasis on the former in western society. It almost literally makes me sick when I hear stories like the man in Calgary who froze to death after slipping on ice and no one helped despite his att4mot to wave people down. I truly think we need a shift in values, especially among our youth. Maybe it's just because I'm older now and see the value of helping and making others feel good, but one can't help but think that western society rewards greed and selfishness too much. Sorry for sounding negative.

      Yes, I totally agree.
Be there for others is unity and connection.
Be there only for your own interests ends in separation and sorrow.
      This are 2 different paths.
Service to self or service to others.
It makes me feel like florishing and smile when I am there for others.
Every day we become more and stronger.

About 10 years ago I was working in the Silicon Valley. There were numerous people I would come in contact with that I would later Google and find out they were tech or medical superstars. Dr. Doty was one of them. He was helping out a doctor start his own practice. I was doing some work with that doctor.
I would see Dr. Doty often. Back then I didn't know who he was. Damn! Missed opportunity to sit down and have a chat.

I have heard Dr. Doty in several interviews, and I don't really hear any science or research quoted...just his experience as a kid as the impetus. I hope this interview is different? I need to read his book and see what rigor there is behind his "narrative."

I am sorry but i am and never was one of those people wanting a big car or house. I manifested a nice appartment in a calm area. I am happy and became happier when i learnt to love myself. I am also a Dr ...not a neurosurgeon who are known stereotypically to chase status generally. Not an easy job. High stress and mean doctors at times. I was depressed at one point and trying to care for others. It was unhealty and didnt work. Once i felt at peace with myself again, i was able to help people. So everyone comes to this from a different perspective. I was fortunate to grow up comfortable...not rich but comfortable. So i never desired gucci or rolls royce. I knew I needed what i needed.

27:00 but i wonder if that woman still would of had the drive to become successful if the father didn't say those things? something recently happened to me where after not working for a few years a sibling said some very harsh things to me about my lifestyle, i'm now working and doing fine for myself but i would probably still be living like a lazy bum had he not pissed me off so much.

I am confused to why he said humans need to take care of their children/offspring for 10 years? What is he speaking on? What human child does not need care after the age of ten?

    • @AmulyaVlogs.
      @AmulyaVlogs. 6 месяцев назад

Probably he meant, after age 10, the child will develop ability to start understanding his/her surroundings and will learn to protect and take care of themselves.

Dr. Doty sounds a lot like my late father… i am probably wrong but I hope he might consider dedicating a year of love and attention toward his body, even if that means he has to cut back on work a little, so he is around many more years to continue to help others. Although, I guess the length of one’s life does not really equate to impact , ultimately.

Esther Hicks has been talking about this for over 30 yrs, and has given 1000's of talks, and written several best sellers, has given people lots of methods and techniques, (not like this guy who doesn't know) but since she doesn't have a doctor's degree, people have said she's a quack, a woo woo koo koo-head etc. What's the matter with people?

Everyone has an important message in a universe of diversity.
      Yours too
Maybe this one is simply not for you.
Discriminate it so he can talk free.

I think Esther Hicks is awesome and this gentleman made a quality impression on me too. I will actually seek out more of his interviews based on how much I enjoyed listening to his perspectives in this video.

I seriously question Dr. Doty's statement that the universe doesn't give an "f' about you. The universe made sure that just when he needed her most, there was Ruth. I've seen too many times in my own life that actually the universe has cared about me.

This guy talks like every person who uses socials as an influencer is fony by default. I'm intrigued by the science of neuroplasticity and such but I can't help but get skeptical of entrenched pessimism about media tech use. The internet, like life, is what you make it. Stop telling people they're helpless against it and they'll likely stop believing that they are.
